+stupidstufwtmyfriend To be fair, there's a lot of offroading going on, over in commie land. Ofcourse, they tend to do it in huge ex-military offroad trucks, with a load of logs in the back and then they call it "Work". Some say they might be crazy, with only a little envy in their voices. :D
+g4rr377 I never was either, but there it a lot of interesting engineering in these trucks. Once you put on bigger tires to handle bigger obstacles it changes every other system in the vehicle. Then there are suspension changes. Normal cars try to stay flat while these rigs want to accommodate uneven terrain. Very interesting stuff.
Damn I love this show! You should team up with Axial, Recon G6 and some of us crazy scale RC guys on one of these trips! Most of us are avid 4x4 enthusiasts and when we aren't wheeling 1:1's we are wheeling 1:10's! Great episode! Glad to see some of our Oregon boys in this one including Warn!
yeah, off roading is a lot of fun,I have a small lifted chevy s10 and I like to have some fun off roading it in the dirt, hours feel like minutes while being on the wheel!
That one tree there is just like "Fuck your fender, fuck your fender, fuck your mirror too, fuck your fender, oh, new person, uh, yeah fuck your fender too. And yours. Fuck your fender. Just, fuck it. Because fuck you. My hill."
noticed the 75 jeep...classic amaerican 4x4...i know a dude had one it beat out a chevy 4x4 on these backwoods muddy roads, the chevy got stuck...the jeep just crawled through no problem
Id love to go on a wheeling adventure, i watch all of these shows like this and dirt every day and roadkill and keep it tight. But i drive an old 2wd Hyundai
We have a 1942 ford willies jeep with a 327 v8 in it you stand on it and yanks the hole thing to the right it was my paps jeep after he passed we repainted it blue got it running and put on the back coops little toy for a memorial for him it's a fun truck but I wish my pap was still around
Very nice to see these in action It seems Jeeps and Suzuki has weight advantage, while heavy trucks have only horsepower to compensate with, Rover is doing fairly nice considering smaller tires and worse approach angles.
Did Tim Hardy but bigger tyres on his little Sammi ? That 1,300 small block doesn't seem like a high horse power muddin' motor to me but it still gets him through. The more dents his rig picks up the cooler it looks.
You guys really need to do a video interview with Tom Hardy about that Suzuki he wheels. It's a complete "Stone Soup" of offroad goodies and cobbled works. Too cool!
No cj5s or 7s??? Seems like we need to bring ours out there, they've gone a few thousand miles on trails. More of rubicon type terrain, but some stuff like this, doesn't look too crazy. But fun :D
Depends on where they are registered. For instance, here in Florida there's no law for that, so I can go anywhere in the country with my Florida plated truck with no fender flares and tires sticking out and can't be ticketed for it.
+pat Sun There will be a tech inspection at check-in. Your vehicle will be inspected for all of the following equipment and paperwork. You will not be allowed to join Ultimate Adventure if your vehicle fails this inspection.Vehicle must be road worthy and capable of sustained highway speeds of 60 mph and a fuel range of at least 150 miles.Vehicle must be street licensed and insured, and driver must have a valid driver's license, current registration, and current proof of insurance.Front and rear axle lockers (limited slips do not suffice)Must be self-sufficient (bring your own spare parts, fluids, tools, food and water)Front mounted vehicle recovery winch, and controllerWinch accessory kit (tree saver, snatch block, clevis, chain, gloves)Rollbar with safety handles or grab bars (rollcage preferred)Adequate first-aid kit per Red Cross requirementsSeatbelts for all occupants, always worn when vehicle is in motionAdequate recovery tow hooks and/or shackle/clevis attachment points front and rearSecure battery hold-down35-inch minimum tire size and adequate spare tireFunctional parking brakeProperly working CB radioFire extinguisher mounted in reach of occupantsSnatch strap/recovery rope-without metal hooksAdequate jack and jack pointsSpill kit and PETT kit
+Josh Smart When you have 20+ vehicles special equipment can be spread out a bit in the group. There is always a balance on how much to carry vs weight vs performance. In the end everyone helps.
You don't understand how happy I am to see that little samurai.
Love how fred always looks like hes genuinely enjoying it.
Loved all of the vehicles they brought this year, especially the Range Rover
Plus, this episode was awesome
+ExactFitness Needs more Toyota!!
+ExactFitness Was the Range rover the only one to go up the proper route on the first climb?
+ExactFitness FULL SIZE CHEROKEE FUCK YEA
+daz1975ify That 94 suzuki sidekick has a tacoma motor in it. Justin cardwell dose swaps for a living in creswell oregon
+Matthew Page it sure was sweet and sounded good in the mud.
I've never been interested in 4x4s but that looks awesome fun
+g4rr377 Never been into 4x4? you damn commie!
+stupidstufwtmyfriend

These videos NEVER get old. Just good clean fun. (and some skill too)
And custom body work haha
Super stoked to see a Rangie in there. Look forward to seeing how it handles the water!
I love Rick Pewe's right mixture of trail and rain. He is the Ultimate Jeep guy!
At first glance the level of videography is just on another level compared to the past few years. well done!
yeah, off roading is a lot of fun,I have a small lifted chevy s10 and I like to have some fun off roading it in the dirt, hours feel like minutes while being on the wheel!
All the rigs are impressive in their own ways. The production value of this video makes for good watching. The filming and editing are top rate.
Looks like a lot of fun. I do find it funny though that the trip leader doesn't have his own vehicle. Like a biker with no bike....
+Duncan “DunMac” Mac Rick's vehicle blew the transmission, on the drive out, about 36 hours before UA was due to start.
+Metcalf Oh man, that sucks. Talk about bad timing. I'm looking forward to the following videos of the trip. Thanks for the reply.
Yes what was that?!??😭 with his own vehicle
Those lil Suzukis' are pretty beast!
Oh man! That '46 Chevy has me drooling. I need to win the lottery. HAHA
Awesome! Phil Pasciak is a great guy! Loved watching this, looking forward to the next episodes!
That one tree there is just like "Fuck your fender, fuck your fender, fuck your mirror too, fuck your fender, oh, new person, uh, yeah fuck your fender too. And yours. Fuck your fender. Just, fuck it. Because fuck you. My hill."
😀😀😀😀😀😀:d
Steven Zettel what about hood with the falling branch?
Taylor Brendle You called?
this would be something on family guy lol
Finally, been waiting forever. UA FTW! love Tim's 'Zuki, it's the cockroach that never dies
That sidekick on the rev limiter through the mud.... haha awesome!
I love that 46 chevy.
+Caleb Davidhizar I love em all
+Caleb Davidhizar Finally! Someone who mentioned the Chevy!
Chevy's suck il love fords
Thank you very much for posting this finally! love these ultimate adventures
The 46 Chevy is a thing of beauty
Awesome episode! loved the commentary by rick and fred as well as the trail guide! entertaining and interesting all the way through. Well done MT!
Woo hoo Ultimate Adventure week can't wait for next installment.
Nice one , like the off road stuff!!!
Thanks for sharing this series, I look forward to seeing the next one!
damn that body roll in the Chevy when throwing mud in the flat field @ 16:46.
I've never seen people do this before, so entertaining
this adventure has a lot of enthusiasm .. I love it 😍😍
A lot of time we use tires chains on our tires to help us get traction in the mud, it works even when they say it doesn't, I know for a fact it does.
Hell yeah! Love the Ultimate Adventure series.
noticed the 75 jeep...classic amaerican 4x4...i know a dude had one it beat out a chevy 4x4 on these backwoods muddy roads, the chevy got stuck...the jeep just crawled through no problem
Well I'm from East Europe and I'll love it. Live with that!!! :)
Powerline park right here in my own back yard, I would of loved to come out and watch, lend a hand wrenching! Great start.....
I like that red Suzuki Samurai, I guess I'm partial though haha. I love my Zuki
Great adventure and show, love the rigs.
thanks.
FIANLLY. Been waiting for the 2015 vids for awhile.
finally some proper offroad! awesome! keep em coming!
Can't wait to see the day at Durhamtown Tellico!
Motor Trend, you should start putting the videos in this playlist in order instead of the last day playing first and the first day last. Thanks!
+Danny V Most of your playlists are setup in reverse order.
This is awesome!
yeah it is!
Let's see some more of that 1st gen Colorado. Yeah.
Great episode. More details about the rigs would have made it a perfect episode.
Id love to go on a wheeling adventure, i watch all of these shows like this and dirt every day and roadkill and keep it tight. But i drive an old 2wd Hyundai

If u wanna see any photos contact me
Once again some amazing rigs!
Ultimate Adventure: proving that the journey trumps horsepower whether you have 80, 556, or anywhere in between.
love the Range Rover...... and that sidekick tho
Summer camp jeep is my second favorite built of fred and company.
I saw these guys in Ohio going the opposite way on the highway and thought....that looks like a good time. I had no idea it was the UA group.
Very nice to see these in action
It seems Jeeps and Suzuki has weight advantage, while heavy trucks have only horsepower to compensate with, Rover is doing fairly nice considering smaller tires and worse approach angles.
Great looking '75 Cherokee!
these videos are the best
He brought a spare eye!!! XD
Did Tim Hardy but bigger tyres on his little Sammi ? That 1,300 small block doesn't seem like a high horse power muddin' motor to me but it still gets him through. The more dents his rig picks up the cooler it looks.
Awesome event! Wish we had something like that over here in Germany! Most of these rigs aren't even legal to drive on our public roads :-(
8:24 It doesn't look like they mounted that TJ dash very securely in that CJ10. The whole dash is moving when Rick turns the wheel.
that 46 chevy is awesome but the ol zuk is the best rig on the trail its been every where to many times to count
I know what I'd prefer to drive. Sitting comfy in the Rover with the heated seats on :D
to true!!!
+Unicorn Reviews ༼ ºل͟º ༽ That sounds like something a communist would say. ༼ ºل͟º ༽
+Unicorn Reviews Until your ass catches on fire cause of shitty English engineering.
+Marius G Your car will rust if you are so salty.
But you probably don't have a car so carry on...
+K.H. OH and the the aftermarket bucket seats don't have heating.
I love this show and the 1975 jeep
been waiting for this for so long!!
Off road trucks are awesome 😄
This is going to be a good week.
Now THAT's some serious off-roading.
Looked like a really great day!!!!
I live in st clairsville and the hotel they stayed at had one of the local itialian places from the tri state and its so good
awesome video. Unfortunately Power Line park is now closed due to insurance issues. Still some good places like it near by though.
“Every Ultimate Adventure starts the same way,” the Jeeps all have to fix their rigs before we head out. 😆
This video is great.
I hope to take part in the Ultimate Adventure one day and to see what my rig can do!. I need just a few more items like Lockers and a roll cage...
Looks so fun!
I see Mello Yellow is holding on comfortably on Freds UA build...
Well documented event. Hope to see you guys do it in 2017.
super cool et rien de destructeur pour les machines +1
You guys really need to do a video interview with Tom Hardy about that Suzuki he wheels. It's a complete "Stone Soup" of offroad goodies and cobbled works. Too cool!
that red samurai makes it look easy!
crazy I've been watching these for awhile haven't seen one xj I live bout 45 minutes from power line bad ass place
No cj5s or 7s??? Seems like we need to bring ours out there, they've gone a few thousand miles on trails. More of rubicon type terrain, but some stuff like this, doesn't look too crazy. But fun :D
**miles on our jeeps
DRIIVVVERRRSSSS MEEETTTTIIIINNNGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That sweet FSJ though. :D
it is finally here YES
I would like to know what exactly is on the check off sheet before hitting the trails.
love that 46' chevy truck, and im a Dodge fan lol.
Only thing this lacks is ... The FRED !!!
+Gadne92 I ment more FRED, like hosting this!
I saw you guys on the road up in north Georgia!
How are the rigs with no wheel cover road legal? I get pulled over for 2 inches sticking out?
Depends on where they are registered. For instance, here in Florida there's no law for that, so I can go anywhere in the country with my Florida plated truck with no fender flares and tires sticking out and can't be ticketed for it.
Is that tech check list available somewhere. would be nice as a guide line as to what to include in my rig.
+pat Sun There will be a tech inspection at check-in. Your vehicle will be inspected for all of the following equipment and paperwork. Yea, is there one for 2016
Good show!
So you carry spare hubs, welder and everything so where does it all fit?
You can fit a lot of gear in some of those full size rigs
They just look so small, that's all
+Josh Smart When you have 20+ vehicles special equipment can be spread out a bit in the group. There is always a balance on how much to carry vs weight vs performance. In the end everyone helps.
+Metcalf Thanks
i used to go to powerline park every year labour day and memorial day weekends.. it was great until the rutts on the trails got too deep.
you guys sgould come thru WV sometime we have lots of huge mud and mountains! :D
this is my goal i would love to be apart of that one day
ugh this was awesome
I guess the only thing better than waiting in traffic all day is waiting in traffic all day OFF-ROAD! :D
f
I wonder if they would allow bobbed deuce and a halfs in this adventure
jack Sloan when on a benefit ride with me today it was awsome
Sideckick and samurai!!! Wawww
My favorite was the Colorado or crawlorado
I cant wait to visit the states and do this with my cousins, so awesome!
Does the 93 explorer have stock engine?
