For anyone not from america this is how i did it: -3 bananas -150 grams(aproximately) sugar -1 large egg( i used 2 medium one but its probs the same) -80 ml oil (aproximately) -80 ml milk( again aproximately) -125 grams flour( aproximately) -used and actual teaspoon so idrk baking soda hope this helps gl!!
I have been baking banana bread for years. Following the same old recipe. Today I decided to try a new one and this one stood out to me because it said “easy”. It is by far the BEST one I have ever made! And it definitely was easy. The only thing I added was a tiny splash of vanilla and some walnuts. It is moist and delicious. I also appreciated how pleasant the video was! Try this recipe out! You won’t be sorry!
I reduced the sugar to 1/2 cup my bananas were very ripe so their sweetness was enough for me. I also added about 1tsp of vanilla essence. It turned out great, super soft and moist.
I tried out this recipe 2 days ago except I made double the batch. I had to come back and say this recipe is wonderful and so tasty! My family enjoyed the bread so much, thank you for sharing this incredible recipe with us.
I followed this recipe, with a few changes. Used only 2 bananas instead of 3 as I only had 2 overriped ones and added 1 tsp cinnamon powder & 1 tsp vanilla extract as per the comments and it was a success. Yay! Thank you for this recipe. ❤️
Tried this recipe today and it's a keeper. The whole family loves it! I baked it for about 55 mins at 175 degrees celsius and it baked perfect and moist! Added 1 tsp of vanilla essence too!
3 ripe bananas, mashed 3/4 cup of sugar (I prefer brown) 1 large egg 1/3 cup of oil or soften butter 1/3 cup of milk 1 cup of all purpose flour, sifted 1 tsp of baking soda I added: generous pinches of cinnamon a pinch of salt bake in 350f or 175C for 1 hour, mine bakes perfect at 45 mins, use toothpick to check you’re welcome. Havent tried it, going to now :) edit: i would use really ripe bananas, add a drizzle of honey. and oh god this is the best banana bread recipe, also the most simple
Just made this recipe. I add some vanilla extract and cinnamon and some walnuts as well. Just pop it in the oven now waiting for it to be ready and cool down. Can't wait to try it ill be back with an update.😁😆
We had bananas that were really overripe to the point no one was gonna eat them. So I wanted to try making banana bread for the first time. It came out great! Thank you for posting this easy guide!
Easy Banana Bread Recipe Ingredients: 3 ripe bananas, mashed 3/4 cup white sugar 1 large egg 1/3 cup oil 1/3 cup milk 1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted 1 teaspoon baking soda Directions: Mix all ingredients together well. Bake at 350F for 1 hour in a greased loaf pan. Thank you @cookingwithrila!
Tried this and it turned out so good! Soft, moist and the sweetness is enough. For those using a convection oven this might help - preheat oven at 180 C for 10 mins. Then bake it at 160 C for 30 minutes. 😉
Anyone who follows Pats Garcia cooking instructions is completely inaccurate. Cooking 160 C for 30 minutes is totally asking for trouble since it will under cook the banana cake. It should be set at 180 C for 30-45 mins.
5 stars to the recipe. Tried this yesterday, the cake came out much softer and tastier than my earlier versions. I used one and a half banana, added vanilla essence and it was very yummy. Very easy and simple. Thanks for sharing. In my oven it took only 45 minutes.
I used 1/3 c brown sugar, 1/4 t nutmeg, 1/4 t cinnamon 1 tsp vanilla 1/4 c walnuts and 1/2 c chocolate chips as well.I also did half butter and half oil to make up the 1/3 cup and topped the whole thing with brown sugar crumbled. It took it to another level
Thank you so much! I have never baked before, and this was my first time trying. It was SO delicious and the recipe is very easy to follow. I baked this in a toaster oven, so it took me slightly longer (55 minutes). Can’t wait to try your other recipes!
everytime i make banana bread i come back to this recipe and i’ve done this recipe like 4-5 times and it’s good all the time! i am trying to make banana bread muffins and i hope they turn out good! i’ll update in like a couple minutes or an hour! 😁
I just put mine in the oven. I used 4 VERY ripe medium smallish bananas instead of 3 hope it turns out great. Update 4 Bananas was not a great idea even at 1 hour and 10 minutes the inside is mushy. Still very tasty but more its half almost pudding and half breadish.
Thanks for sharing this..... I made it now and it came out perfect 👌. I just added cinnamon and nutmeg. My banana bread has never cum out so beautifully, always not baked through.... So thanks
I watched a ton of banana recipe videos almost a month back to since we had some over ripe bananas and I wanted to try making some banana bread for the first time. Saw your video and I had all the ingredients at home and it came out great!!! My entire family loves it, we've already made 5 loafs this month!!! This a great recipe ❤️❤️❤️
(Very basic) Written recipe Mash 3 overripe bananas 3/4 cup sugar 1 egg 1/3 cup oil or softened butter Mix 1/3 cup milk Mix 1 cup flour + Tsp baking soda Mix Pour into oil greased pan Cook 176°C/350°F 40 minutes not 1 hour Note: I baked it for 40 minutes, and it was nowhere near done
Just made this.waiting for it to cool down and taste it Oh my this bread is the bomb and moist too. I used wheat flour, organic coconut sugar and almond milk
I am an usually not the best cook. Then I tried this simple recipe and I feel like a world class baker. Thanks for this easy to follow recipe with delicious results
I have a question. I'd appreciate it if anyone could answer it. Can I use baking powder instead of soda? Any difference between the two? One more thing, can I use things like honey, maple syrup, or condensed milk to replace the general sugar? Thank you.
Mine came out great! This will be my go to recipe! I added a tsp of cinnamon and walnuts but will probably use a little less cinnamon next time and add blueberries. Thanks! 🤗
I don’t have milk so I will be using water instead, hopefully this turns out okay 😌 Edit: water as a substitute is great! Tastes absolutely amazing still and is great for those lactose intolerant
I doubled the recipe, used 1 cup sugar, 1 cup all purpose flour & 1 cup quick oats, a little more than 1/3 cup oil, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger. Still very moist and verrry delish. Wish I could add a pic!
Just put mine in the oven, nice easy economical recipe, no butter and one egg. I added mixed spices to mine and used brown sugar. The batter tasted yummy, so the end result should also. Many thanks
That's the simplest recipe to the sweetest results, with this being my first trial at baking and the amazing results I got, I aint stopping. Thanks a lot from ke🇰🇪
Stick to the cooking times and try not to peek too often as you lose too much heat that way. Other than that xp in the long run will help you as you make mistakes
I tried making this in sat for thr first time. It was successful, they eat it even when it still hot. Was all gone that same day. Thanks for sharing and we made 2 batch today😊
Hello! Just want to thank this recipe so much! I have never baked anything successfully loool This one turns out so good and my family decided to have this for breakfast! P.S. I used brown sugar instead of white one in the same amount.
Easiest banana bread recipe and soooo goood I didn’t have a loaf pan so I used a square pan it’s about 8x8in and came out fine I’ve done this recipe with 2 ripe bananas, still great taste just less moist but not dry I added a pinch of cinnamon salt and honey I’ve done this recipe with almond milk great taste as well Okay so just now I made another batch but I have no eggs lol let’s see how it turns out, will keep you updated 😂
I used whole wheat flour and I thought it would not rise well but everything worked out fine I used coconut oil and instead of regular milk I did the equivalent amount of butter milk
This is for international consumption so adding the Celsius equiv would have been nice. Gonna try this one. I baked commercially for 20 years but. Ot done anything in quite some time. I chose this one by the thumbnail alone as it looked to me to be the best one on the first page. Golden brown as in cooked just right with a split at the top as well as not flat.
Omg u just saved me!!!Tmr is my moms birthday and I didn’t know what to do until I saw this!!! Tysm u just saved MY LIFEEEEE BLESS UUUUUU UR AMAZINGGGGG
I made this recipe yesterday, this is my second time making banana bread , the first time I used other recipe the banana bread was good but it did not came out soft like in this recipe. My husband love it and me too 😁😁. Also I added some vanilla and cinammon.
I made the cake and my family and relatives said it was scrumptious and very moist❤️😘😚... They loved it... Tq very much for the recipe.. Have a nice day..
Add yeast instead of baking soda. let it rise twice and the bread will come out fluffy. Again don't drop the dough in the pan like a piece of rock. Roll it into a cylinder, cut it to pieces then lift all the pieces and drop them into the pan. The final result will be really interesting .
My banana bread always turns out to be very soggy, tastes good though. Can anyone plz suggest why is my banana bread become soggy. I put it in fan mode at 200 degree centigrade.

Very tasty recipe 👍
You are an amazing cook..it turned out amazing..thank you for sharing
Can You substitute the baking soda to baking powder?
Add one teaspoon of vanilla extract and one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and it would taste even better.
Oh really
yes..true...with some mochino cherries 😊

Thank you for this recipe. I used 2 bananas, cut down the sugar, and it still turned out soft and yummy.
I recently made this banana loaf. I used 1/2 white and 1/2 brown sugar. I also added 3/4 cup raisins. Absolutely delicious.
I followed this recipe, with a few changes. Used only 2 bananas instead of 3 as I only had 2 overriped ones and added 1 tsp cinnamon powder & 1 tsp vanilla extract as per the comments and it was a success. Yay! Thank you for this recipe. ❤️

Thanks a lot. Didn’t think 1 hour would work with my oven. Mine was done in just 30 minutes.
