Now her estranged husband John Blauvelt has disappeared into thin air. Police say he took 17-year-old Hannah Thompson with him.

Yes. She could very well be a viable suspect, but we must also consider that 17 year olds are sometimes yet naive. Fewer and fewer it would seem, but some yet are. A 17 year old female, who may be insecure and possibly unworldly in her understanding of the evil that some are capable of, could find some type of twisted romance in running off with a man, a grown man who may not be the best thing for her.
She could be a suspect, sure. She very well could've had a hand in the nefarious act of murder. However, to be fair, one must also consider the possibility that she was taken in and taken for a ride, never knowing the full extent of danger she was in. Just a thought my friend.

I’m sure the mom noticed how dark and different she looked, and asked why. So they answered and told her the truth..
I work at a funeral home, we only tell details if the family asks and sadly most familys do ask because they want to know for the sake of closure, sometimes it helps, other times not..not so much
My mom passed away in 2008 & my baby brother who was nineteen at the time died in a car accident in 2009 and while he was still at our local hospital the doctor's and nurses refused to let us see him. We wanted to comfort him and say our goodbyes but they refused because they felt like we didn't need to see him the way he was. They thought he'd survive if they airlifted him to another hospital and even when they were loading him onto the plane we couldn't see him because they literally had him wrapped from head to feet. His entire face had white sheets around him and once we took that long drive to the hospital and were informed he'd died and we requested and demanded to see him we were told the same thing. One nurse with tears in her eyes told us to please trust her that we didn't need to see him that way and to remember how he looked when he was alive. Later on during his funeral planning the funeral director said the same thing to my older sister and I. We regret that decision sometimes but when doctor's, nurse's and a mortician who have years of experience dealing with various stages of trauma beg you to not see your loved one because of the condition they're presumed to be in I am grateful that I listened.

John Blauvelt was booked into the Jackson County Jail, where he awaits extradition to South Carolina to face prosecution.

They told us that as well & it didn't look like him of course, however that doesn't change anything. Will always hurt. I don't see anything wrong with us given that information. If you haven't been through a tragic loss then just stay quiet.

This right here. This series, these episodes. I am terrified of being a parent. The world is so evil and we bring up these innocent happy children and than release them into the world hoping this evil never finds them. It's absolutely terrifying.
