I was in an abusive marriage and my ex-husband tried to smother me with a pillow multiple times. I saw my chance and took my (well out but he didn't want her) daughter and left. Family and neighbors rallied around us and he couldn't get near us. He did lots of vandalism for years though. If I had told him I was leaving, I'd have been a statistic too.

I waited till the ex was working an overtime shift and I moved with friends help took all my girls things and my clothes and stuff I had got from my family I didn’t want anything that my ex and I bought. Took enough dishes for us three and pots enough for us. Some food stuffs that the girls liked . My friends were so good . They gave me things. One friend he made a list of things we needed like a tv and play station because we left the machine but took the games they liked . So we ended up with a sofa tv a machine for their games. Before we knew it I had more than we needed. My ex came to see the girls and was shocked asking me where I got the things I said none of your business. I didn’t take our bed I didn’t want it with him and his cheating In that bed. 🤢 but I got a mattress from a friend again but at the beginning slept with one of my girls,
I was so happy to be out of thar chaos and drama so done. But I told no one not my dad But he found out because he came over when we were in the Middle of moving haaaaaa and I told him I was getting out

I can’t imagine. My best friend who passed away about 9 years ago, was the third sibling that passed away out of 7. Today I am still close with her mother, and 2 more siblings have passed since then, so that is 5 out of 7 children. Parents are not supposed to have to bury their children 💔

charge vs convicted ( not in his case cuz we know he did it) byr we gotta respect the process
and he was convicted in 2019 and sentenced to 25 yrs

How can he sell things she owned, he is not her next of kin even if they lived together. The cops should have arrested him for car theft ,they could have kept him in jail while they were building his murder case. There are so many times these guys get away with murder , it’s not funny . This poor family , the family needs to try for permanent custody .

I've never heard anything quite so non-sensical as "the mother was murdered so she's considered to have abandoned her baby". And her murderer (not proven at that point) still had parental rights. Really, that's when you start thinking that a justice system has become an injustice system, when it takes the side of the perpetrator against the victim. I'm not sure I've heard much worse than that....

    • @denacain7195

She can't be considered dead in the eyes of the law until she is legally declared dead. Without a body, the family has to go to court to ask to have her declared dead, and then it's up to the judge.
So CPS is doing the best they can by taking her on scant reason (just a bleach-y room, no evidence of abuse).

I was shocked to hear when this happened! I NEVER thought in my love of true crime that i would ever know the victim or perpetrator! It makes me sick! I guess he is a walking cliche of a good-looking, but "dumb" guy.. he said, she had a flat tire, but all the tires on her car were fine!! Then he said, she walked to work...lol..however, her place of employment was absolutely too far away for walking!! Not to mention his actions right after she went missing..omg..he started selling her things!!! Can you believe that? How can anyone be this foolish? So from the very get-go, he made himself out to be a no.1 suspect!!! He really made it easy for the cops.. it would be funny, if it wasn't so sad..

People disappear with their cars, probably in the water. Adventures With Purpose or the others will look for her free of charge. The police don't always have the resources to look in the water even though they have done it. Take the case of the girl in northern California whose name escapes me right now. Police searched in a specific body of water and cleared it but AWP came in after a lot of us requested for them to help in her search...and found her and her car in the same lake that was already searched.

And David Millgard in Saskatoon Canada was wrongly accused of. And paid atleast 22 year in jail. His mother never gave up. And they finally caught the man with the DNA
So never, never give up. Keep pushing!🇨🇦

If you’re referring to the Audrey Herron case, she went missing in 2002. Most of that stuff didn’t exist.

I don't think her husband had anything to do with it. I believe she went off the road and even though searches have been conducted this wouldn't be the first case where a person(s) have gone missing and several years later they and the vehicle they were last known in have been found.

At the beginning of the story, "Christine bought a house as a single mother and she worked for 11 years without missing a day". Three and a half minutes into the story, "Christine needed a man roommate to help her pay for everything". 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
