Agree. It’s easy to judge another but love is blind. We all had similar faith in our spouses before we married & most of those who aren’t divorced still do. She was building a life for her & her future husband but she was obviously betrayed. Can tell you from experience that many of these side businesses that are struggling w/debt have full knowledge of both spouses & have seen some cases that are shocking where the spouses worked together to rip ppl off to cover the businesses. It’s not like she made up the story about climbing into the back of the truck. Imagine the tailpipe & truck bed being altered to poison her & her body being buried. Very sad.

@@r.williamcomm7693 She was not betrayed. She put her trust in a man who had a family. She didn't care about that though. She wanted to fuel her ego, her own sister said she was pleased that he was going to leave his family home and take HER on this trip. She was a woman of low value dealing with a MARRIED man of NO value, willing to break up his family to the tune of 90k. She put good sense to the side in order to do this. Stop trying to justify her actions.

@@johnbyrne1022 I'd be looking at the finances of the passenger because I smell a co-conspirator. I think the boyfriend paid the passenger off to help him get rid of Patti or at least to keep silent about it. I mean, who sits at fucking Burger King for 45 minutes? Nobody. Everyone in the right mind drives off after 15 minutes, TOPS. And no Burger King takes that long to get food out in the middle of the night. 18 worth of food they sold that hour. You can't hardly get out of there without spending 8 bucks for a single person. 18 bucks worth of food could easily go to single car. So, clearly, it wasn't busy. But I'd bet my left tit that they never went to Burger King. I mean, they already caught the boyfriend in a lie. He claims he wasn't involved with Patti but he's got secret gifts from her? How many co-workers have you bought phones for who you didn't have a relationship with outside work? The only person I EVER bought a phone for was a boyfriend and it was a somewhat selfish Christmas gift.

However, the victim knew he was married; which is a huge 🚩 and that it’s morally wrong to have a romantic relationship with a married man. Also, if he’s going to cheat on his wife, he’s capable of doing it to any woman. Irregardless of him brainwashing her to believe that he was going to leave his spouse for her. Im not going to even get into the fact that she let him barrow almost $100k from her. I hope this is solved one day.

This woman lost her the life over this. One lesson to be learned from this for sure, if you have to sneak & hide to be with your man....SOMETHING AIN'T RIGHT!! No one deserves to disappear or be murdered, but if you decide to have a partner that you have to keep your relationship a secret you KNOW there are potentially negative consequences & risks involved. Some that you may not live long enough to even regret. NO love is worth losing your life over, at least not in my book anyway.💜

I'd find out what was going on and then some time in the next few days I'd be packed and gone when he got home from work. Tons of other women plain won't believe you if you tell them their husband is cheating- you know that for a fact, if you watch true crime. I don't know why everyone thinks anyone that doesn't act exactly the way they themselves would act is guilty of something. She could be but there's zero evidence of that. There's also Patti's sister who said that they hadn't really been able to spend much time together away from work so the woman very well may not believe her husband was having an affair if he wasn't spending a bunch of time away from both home and work.

Susan Amend Look, it's horrible that she's more than likely dead. It's horrible that he more than likely killed her. But come on, she was an idiot. Giving ninety grand to a married guy when she's got a daughter to take care of, diving in the back of a pickup to avoid being seen yet believing he was leaving his wife? She was an idiot. Doesn't mean she deserved to die, but she would still be alive if her priorities were better.

I think its both. I mean, the guy worked at a car plant and part time as a car mechanic. How on earth did he come up with $90k within a short amount of time? Didnt the wife notice all of this money he was spending? Also, if the wife heard that her husband's mistress came up missing and presumed dead, why isn't she scared for her own safety? I mean, he got away with it once. What will stop him from doing it again?
At this point, someone will have to come forward with info. The wife had to have noticed something different about her husband around that time. He's nothing but the devil in my eyes. I wished Patty had not trusted him so much.

...and make him dig his own grave...couldn't agree with you more! The way our justice system accommodates for criminal's rights & seemingly forgets that no one has observed the victim's rights in any capacity more & more people will agree with us too . Every time I hear a story about an abduction, random murder or someone being abused, etc I always think to myself that the person responsible really lucked out by not doing it to someone in my life because I wouldnt have the self control to patiently wait several years while they get enough evidence to prosecute. Then after that have faith in a jury to find them guilty & have them sentenced long enough to fit the crime they committed. And sadly, the sentence rarely is ever fully served due to over crowding in our prison systems & criminals being freed for things like, "good behavior". Im sorry but "good behavior" should'nt even exist in our judicial system or criminal's vocabulary, much less exist for them to receive an early parole.
That being said, there's just too many things that have to be considered for any real justice to be served. Maybe that's why more & more people feel the need to take the law into their own hands to ensure that it gets done. A good example is prison justice & how it deals with pedophiles. When its not left up to authorities or our legal system the justice within a prison & the incarcerated is swift & most times deserved. And until our system gets repaired in some way soon I dont see this changing any time in the near future either.💚 Were'nt we suppose to get more civilized with the passage of time..??

The thing that bothers me the most is that Gabby Petito had protesters in front of her presumed abductor's house and it made national news. She looked so innocent that the news ate it up. I don't see anything wrong with that. As a mother I would want as much coverage as I could get. It should have gotten national attention. However, Patti should have gotten this level of attention too. A lot of missing young women should have. I say every young woman who is missing should be everyone's concern.

The worst part of this story is how can this still not be solved by the local police. It is not a matter of who did it, it is a matter of how they did it. Secrets kill ladies! If a man tells you your relationship has to be kept secret he has already made the mental decision he will hurt you if you reveal that secret.

He probably asked her to give it to him in cash, so there would be no money trail linked to him, that way he would have no proof of motive, this was definitely premeditated murder and my instinct tells me his wife was involved and helped spend that money. He offered to take her to Canada after she told him that he needed to start making payments on the money she lent him. He never planned on paying a dime back to her.
