I just bought the 49". Very nice TV. Spot on quality. I mainly purchased it for the low input lag. No cables behind, no fuss. The only things I would say need improvement are: the browser (a bit too basic and very little settings) and the smart remote. I was used to the LG magic remote which has a projected cursor/pointer so you can easily and quickly move everywhere. With this one you have a directional pad so moving the pointer is considerably slower and less comfortable. But overall I'm very happy it's a great tv

Bought the 75 inch last March. Ok for 3-4 months then developed vertical shadow lines every 100mm across the screen. Samsung has finally agreed to have it back in exchange for cash or the NU8000. I don't like the look of the 8000, that centre stand and the bezel is black, looks cheap. I like the look of the 7000, but i think another one of those might end up with same problem. Other option go to the 82 with the same legs as the 7000.

Well the tv they have sent NU8000 has got a stuck pixel. So i give up, they can have this tv back, refund me and i stick with my projector. Or go Sony X900F my second choice.

Is this MU7000 really a valid mid-tier choice ? Or should I choose between either a Q7F (in case I don´t care about money) or a budget MU6100 (in case I don´t WANT to spend much) ?
I can see why someone would pay (much) more for a Q7F over a value-oriented MU6100. But the MU7000 makes me feel lost and confused.

The hdr10 is not too bright even on my mu8500 but this is why we needed hdr10+ plus which Samsung has created it will be much better brighter or darker across the screen at once and frame by frame and scene by scene normal hdr10 sux its not the tv when normal hdr10 content is created it is set at the levels through the whole show movie so hdr10+ plus should help in every way

What I would really like to know is what will be the set to buy this year at christmas period. The KS7000 55" was selling at £800 at one point and it was an amazing TV set for the money, is this MU7000 a successor to watch or are we to watch the Q range for one that beats last years KS7000.

    Hey guys,
I am looking for a new TV and I've narrowed it down to 2 TV's (samsung UA55MU7000 and UA55MU8000). However the model names here (South Africa) seem to differ slightly (the 7000 here has a curved foot whereas the 8000 has the two distinct legs on either side). I cant seem to find any reviews on "our" 7000 and would hate to buy a TV thats not very good (even though it saves me a third of the price).

    Hello,
I have a concern and question.
Just received my MU7002 and this is my first LED TV, so i can't compare.
So- is that normal that i can see almost all the time that the screen is like loading another pixels all the time. It's looking like, i don't know- snowing maybe. I can see it especially on the background in film frame, the element that are not on the 1st sharpness.
I would say that the image is just not clear. I expecten much more. I am wathching and i can't stop thinking that tv has thousands of lights on it that keep loading every frame.

Zac Long hi mate so the Hisense 50N7 is a good tv for movies and tv. However the HDR basically doesn't work on that model and it's not very good for gaming. Hope this helps, they are good for the living room.

I love your reviews but I do wish you would spend a lot more time on motion handling, as almost everyone who buys a TV like this doesn't just watch beautiful scenery pictures of rocks, streams and clouds. We watch football (the good American kind), racing, hockey, baseball and action movies, all of which demand great motion handling or we suffer with blurry players, balls, pucks and cars...... Just my .02

Depend on how badly you need it. Black Friday everything becomes more affordable. With the high end dropping to a way more affordable price range so wait if you can even though it is a long wait .

Samsung's 2017 Mid-high range TV's suck. Last year KS series were much better than this.

    • @bgates275
      @bgates275 6 лет назад

I saw the KS7000 last year, and the MU7000 this year, at Best Buy. Maybe it was just that the KS7000 was playing 4k HDR demo material, but honestly the MU7000 picture looked to have very low brightness and color in comparison. I'd almost say it looked dull. I was actually quite shocked, and if that is all I had to go by, I would not purchase the MU7000. The MU7000 model is cheaper than the KS. Maybe it's not necessarily a better value, simply a lower grade.

    • @MrBillybonka
