i pumped up some sharpness and i think it does help with the definition of the image, to be expected i think, and i also believe it looks closer to real life images if set to at least maybe a moderate amount, from halfway through to 3/4 of the sharpness scale
Your mind is playing tricks on you. You are use to that colours. When you watch it as it should be, you will see after a while your eyes adjust to everything and you see alot of more detail.
I have mu7000 so many is these options aren't even there in Indian version. PIP is missing and u can turn off local dimming. And it only has off low and high.
Hello when i purchased my first 4k tv i purchased the ju7000 with the new samsung 4k player only then to find that the ju7000 read hdr data from the blu rays but could not show it, well as i have a 4k player, ps4 pro and an xbox one s im now looking o upgrade to this... im in australia and we have a tv called Mu7000 also so is this the same tv ? and also with all the blu rays i purchased and games i have brought will this tv give me the hdr i shouldve had 2 years ago ? thank you
Why do you guys never say what 480p looks like? Not every good movie or anime got blu ray releases. Or how grainy the picture is, too grainy will create dancing crap all over faces on any show or movie. A grainy picture distracts from the actual film. You cant concentrate on the movie. Black level aint important. Too black you lose detail. Gray you preserve all night scenes and can actually see whats going on. This is why my CRT is still the best. 480 and up = crisp and clean with no excessive grain. Infact its not even noticable even on the walking dead on the CRT, no lag/judder. No ghosting or artifacts.
This makes no sense. You use cal-day and cal-night settings and you know our TVs doesn't have these settings. If you could explain to us how to unlock those settings, would be great. How is this video helping me?????????????
" the only way to access the Cal-Day and Cal-Night settings is by running the auto calibration feature, once you have then the two modes are permanently added to menu options. However to run it you'll need a colour meter, a pattern generator, CalMAN calibration software, a USB to RS232 adapter and an RS232 to 3.5mm cable."
Why does everyone recommend putting Warm2 as the color tone? I just got the MU6175 (MU6300 for US) and I have to keep it on Standard if I want everything to look normal (white text looks white with Standard). Warm2 looks like it throws a yellow-y blanket on my screen and everything looks kinda off.
Coming from Natural, Warm2 will look yellow-ish because the Standart mode has alot of blue tint added. Look at some animal videos on youtube and play with the color tones, you will see that Warm2 has the least amount of blue tint.
Because warm1 or warm2 is better for your eyes. Less eyes fatigue and after a while you will get used to it and it will seems normal. Basically it looks ugly when you switch right away from standard to warm2 because of the blue light... alsi is also known that blue light is the thing that affect your eyes the most... for example that's why glasses for protection are yellow, basically a pair of computer glasses are filtering the lught making it yellowish and in thi manner your eyes won't get so much fatigue... look at warm2 colour tone as a eye protection filter. And after a while the white will really seem like white. I have a samsung mu9002 and i keep it with everithing automatic from the fabric except the colour tone, which i change to warm2. Also i like to keep sharpness to 50 ( the defaut one ) because after you get used with the sharpness it doesn't looks that nice without it... all calibrators turn sharpness to 0 i don't know why but personal prefference i guess :) ps: sry for bad english i am east european
My picture mode settings are slightly different. My TV only shows DYNAMIC, STANDARD, NATURAL and MOVIE. Do I need to change somethings somewhere else to allow the CAL-NIGHT and CAL-DAY? Thanks. EDIT: I just realized after posting that this video is almost a year old. Maybe the settings are slightly different for the 2018 models? My TV is a 65" NU710D.
Why does the picture look different even when you put in exact same setting in "NaturalHDR" and "filmHDR" ( havent looked yet if they also do in the non HDR mode )
Hey man , I also have this tv and on gaming the image looks so bright Even if I slow down the bright of tv settings The colors are so bright that It s all confused Can u help me ? How I get a normal and clear image ??
I have a samsung mu7600c the curved one (yeah i know) . Although the picture looks really good, i have a problem balancing it, especially the st.2084 gamma. Some movies look awful if i put it at 0, and they look amazing when i put it at 2. Whats the real value. Lets say the remake of ghostbusters, at 0, all faces are washed out and no details in buildings, but at 2 its amazing, but for other movies, its too much. And i want the true picture colors and tone and gamma so im a bit lost and i cant find help for this anywhere
I have a weird display issue, after few good minutes of watching tv when I go back to home screen the screen suddenly dims and I see this horizontal lines go in waves from the bottom of the screen and it won't go away untill I turned off the tv for at least 30 mins . Anyone facing this issue ? Some help would be great
Hi guys, I have the 49” model of this tv and I’ve followed your settings for the game mode calibration and in your video, you mention that as soon as the tv detects a HDR mode, it will automatically change the gamma to ‘ST.2084’ but mine stays on ‘BT.1886’ even though HDR is switched on. I’m playing on a PS4 Pro btw. Any idea why? Thanks
When a game like battlefield 1 is loaded go back to settings and it should change to the correct settings. Standard ps4 hdr on this tv looks great, worth a try before getting a pro. That will improve frame rates but not a massive difference in picture.
AtracBreezy With 49Q7F PS4 Pro SDR = 2160p rgb = for gamma q7f : bt 1886 And Ps4 Pro HDR = yuv422 = for gamma q7f : st 2084 It is normal for PS4 Pro 👍😁
50 inches looks big or feels small in a bedroom? Also can anyone tell is there any difference in specifications between 50 and 55 inches Samsung mu7000?
The panel is better in the 55 inch, its HDR10 and 120Hz. I have the 49 inch and while the TV is good, I may return it as I didnt realise its HDR10 (8bit + FRC) and 60Hz refresh rate.
Trying to set up a 65mu7000. Full screen white image appears to have a pink cast. It is also not uniform, displayed in 3 vertical bands, left, center and right? Also shows in grey scale. I cannot adjust them out. Any thoughts? Thanks
as changed enginear settings is a service mode what enginears use if want to know what this is will not be resposible have to know what your doing before useing this mode search ir service remote known as src samsung tv apk input code 1 2
They are his custom picture modes. The picture modes are just presets of settings which he showed in the video. it doesnt metter which picture mode you start with.
hi there. when im trying to play fifa 18 aon this tv and put uhd on the game look dark.. and i diable it the game look too bright and not real.. what to do ? can u help me ? ps4

I have the Q7F Samsung tv but doesn't matter what I do the blacks seems blocky and blotchy. Like night time sky looks terrible. Think I'll go back to normal HD tv's
As far as I'm aware they are identical TV's apart from the local dimming on the 7070 being different, so I imagine you'd be ok with these settings and just adjust the local dimming to suit you.
Craig fraser.. wrong sorry.. Color.. Mu7000 is zilver base, mu7070 is dark base.. Mu7040 is model for local tech chain store.. Silver base and only 1 tuner.. ( so they can sell it cheaper )

i pumped up some sharpness and i think it does help with the definition of the image, to be expected i think, and i also believe it looks closer to real life images if set to at least maybe a moderate amount, from halfway through to 3/4 of the sharpness scale

Why did you put warm color? The screen seems all yellow or red.
I prefer standard colors, is that really bad?
Your mind is playing tricks on you. You are use to that colours. When you watch it as it should be, you will see after a while your eyes adjust to everything and you see alot of more detail.

The 49" model has an 8-bit panel instead of a 10-bit panel on the larger models. I think there's your problem. :/
Got same problem with 55 inch

With 49Q7F
PS4 Pro SDR = 2160p rgb = for gamma q7f : bt 1886
