Sweeping all of OLED issues under the rug. They do have burnin still but they try to compensate by slowly and intentionally destroying the rest of the screen thus decreasing the usable hours left on the tv before the picture is eventually too dim to see. Thats a more complete story. The beautiful premium disposable tv.
im glad i watched this, and other vids of yours. im on the market for a new tv. and i think ill just go with regular LED. cheaper and not insanely bright. it seems like the biggest notable differences between the types is brightness and contrast. i find it interesting cuz its not good for your eyes!! and the worst devices for your eyes are generally the most expensive. personally bright lighting really hurts my eyes. i cant even drive at night cuz of the new headlights everyone has is so blinding and painful. at night i leave the tv going to fall asleep and i dim the light way down, remove contrast and increase yellow/red lighting while also removing some color. granted i seem to be sensitive to light, sometimes it makes me sneeze, but staring at a bright tv is still not good for anyone's eyes. it would be cool if you did a video on tvs that have the most customization in the picture settings while also having great resolution quality
I am wanting to upgrade my 75 inch hisense h8g. Tv has been used 18 hours a day for 4 years, has a couple dirty screen spots, but only see it on full light color screen. But I can tell colors are starting to look more off. I wanted s90d samsung or c4 LG, both are in price range. Still worries me about burn in. I watch tv in dim lit room, rarely have any bright lights on. I want tv with good sound for a tv, i alwats seem to have sync issues with soundbar. My other choices are TCL 851 75 and the Hisense u8 75 2024. I could go up to 85 area.
Allow me to be a bit helpful here. Qled = TCL C and Q series, HISENSE U series. Qd oled = (my personal recommendation) Samsung S90 series, and if for some reason you insist to still get an LG then C series or the new B4 instead of the C4, the G series is great but it's not worth it, way too overpriced and if you raise the brightness above 45 the picture wares off, the MLA technology they have, isn't doing much to help. Anything else is just a waste of money 💰, unless you have an unlimited amount of them to throw away.
@dwapurity Of course they are, just don't through your money on the cheapest one you'll find. The U6 and 7 are great and not very expensive, around 600 to 700 bucks for the 55 inches, 65 1.300 dollars and you'll be fine 🙂. I'd personally go with the 55 as nobody needs more inches unless you live in castle or something. They have the best blacks and local dimming you can get at this price range.
I have a 55 inch TCL Roku tv that I bought brand new in 2018. I'm ready for an upgrade to a newer model and I'd like something similar but I have a small budget for this. Do you have any suggestions?
Why you not talk about bright spots on the screens of LED TV? Caused lenses falling off. I have a 75 inch Samsung with just one bright spot right now, but anticipate more showing up. Researching to find out if this problem has been resolved, is what brought me to your video. My Samsung is 6 or 7 years old, and thinking that, instead of spending a bunch of repairing this problem, upgrade to a newer television. Costco is likely where I'll be shopping. Any and all input is welcomed and appreciated. Thanks in advance.
@@sk8_bort Yeah, not only is their overal lifetime better, they not only shift all the pixels at times when it's still or in TV setting to do manually, they also cycle through the 3 LED (colors) which easily makes it 10-20 times better than OLED. It's still possible to have it like a static thing like a logo from TV channel but still fine probably for years. Though if you plan to have it for 10+ years maybe OLED might not be the best like for light levels, atleast black levels are nice but still expensive.
Thanks for this video. I'm seeing a budget Samsung DU9000 UHD that's probably on a cheaper price around $2,500 for the 98 inch. Unfortunately I cannot find a lot of reviews regarding this set. Looks good in the store but definitely not top tier. Can you give your thoughts on this 98 inch set?

Hi Jon I just found you on RUclips and I wanted some advice. My tv is on like 8 to 10 hours a day and half that time it’s gaming, I also have a bad habit of falling asleep with it on. My choice would be a QN90D because I’ve always been a big fan of Samsung and I’m worried about burn in’s from Oled’s. Is there a better option in my case?
I've considered OLED TVs, but Mini LEDs like the Sony X95L have gotten so close to OLED quality that there's no need to tolerate the risk of burn-in....even if that risk is minimal.
I bought an Oled TV 6 years ago from LG and get burned after 2 years of usage. I lost 3500 US dollars . LG said that it will cost me 2250 Dollars to repair it , but instead i bought a new Mini Led TV

What I want to say is that I spent less than $ 100 from the fake LV I bought from kislux . The quality is very good. I spent four years on the plane, the bus, and anywhere. As a rag. I specially smelled the bag and compared the stitching color. This is the most authentic I have ever seen. To this day, this bag is still very strong. Although it has been abused, the material is still great.
To be honest. If you produce at cost and remove the logo, the luxury market really isn't that expensive. The mark is about 80% of the actual price. But the fact that you are kislux buying an image and showing off your taste to make them think you are richer than you are is a very good thing to do?
Spending $20,000 on a tote bag is the obvious choice, rather than spending $200 on a kislux bag and investing the remaining $19,800 since a $20,000 bag is unlikely to increase in value.
When I choose a bag I always look for practicality, it needs to match the majority of my wardrobe and be able to hold my essentials, and the kislux delivers just that.
No matter the appearance or the metal parts of the kislux bag, I believe that as long as you are not a professional, you will never see any difference .

Software solutions if I'm not mistaken. They automatically refresh their pixels every now and then or adjust their brightness.
