The restraining order would only be good for 1 year after issue, unless she had applied for extension and was granted by the court for valid reason. This did occur in 2011 and then again in 2012, but she never renewed it after. The restraining order was no longer in effect so he did not violate that. She saw him two weeks before he murdered her, she could have filed again and did not.

A control freak of a man without power is a dangerous thing. He enjoyed the fear he created in her & I'm sure he's sat there enjoying hearing how Amie would tell her friends about him. She blossomed without him whilst he stayed a nobody. She was on the red carpet, he was in the background taking pictures. She was a star, a beautiful, talented & popular woman, he couldn't stand it. restraining orders do nothing as a would be murderer will simply ignore them. The ONLY people who are "restrained" by a court ordered restraining order, are people who should not have had the order placed on them! That is because they are not criminals and they got intimately involved with a vengeful sociopath who knows the law. That said, I would be perfectly happy to drop this guy off a balcony. All they have to do is ask me and it would be done.

People don’t get the full story about what went down and think he was a coward or something. Like her freaking door was locked and he lost his phone, hard to handle that when you’re awoken with screams that early in the morning. If he didn’t get on the phone or a weapon, there could have been two victims that night.

So he hears what he describes as breaking glass in the early morning hours, yet doesn't get up to investigate. Instead he ignores it thinking Amie dropped a plate or something. Then later he hears her screaming, but instead of coming to her rescue and possibly saving her life, he runs out of the house. Brilliant.
It's like the roommate in the Moskow Idaho case that witnessed a masked man in her house at 4am, hears her roommate crying, yet doesn't call 911. Instead she just shuts her door and goes back to sleep. WTF

You realize that dispatchers send police/fire/rescue out as they're talking to the caller. They're trying to get more information from them, so they can update whoever is responding to the call. They don't wait until they're done talking to you, hang up, and respond to the call themselves.

    • @Jack-eo5fn
