      @strandedinseattle9931 Год назад +3

      The restraining order would only be good for 1 year after issue, unless she had applied for extension and was granted by the court for valid reason. This did occur in 2011 and then again in 2012, but she never renewed it after. The restraining order was no longer in effect so he did not violate that. She saw him two weeks before he murdered her, she could have filed again and did not.

Like her freaking door was locked and he lost his phone, hard to handle that when you’re awoken with screams that early in the morning. What is up with these roommates? Amie asked this guy to move in with her because she was afraid. She asked him to keep an eye out. So he hears what he describes as breaking glass in the early morning hours, yet doesn't get up to investigate. Instead he ignores it thinking Amie dropped a plate or something. Then later he hears her screaming, but instead of coming to her rescue and possibly saving her life, he runs out of the house. Brilliant.
    It's like the roommate in the Moskow Idaho case that witnessed a masked man in her house at 4am, hears her roommate crying, yet doesn't call 911. Instead she just shuts her door and goes back to sleep. WTF

      If that’s Amie’s intention to have her roommate, she s wrong in the first place. i agree that it is devastating her roommate was too scared to come to her aid directly 😢
      and i agreeeee how devastating it was that there was a survivor in the idaho home awake at the time who didn’t call the police immediately. 😔
      but i so hesitate to place the blame on only 1 or 2 survivors in these cases because we just weren’t there. people may take any variety of meds before bed that make them extra loopy or cause lack of judgment when they awake in the middle of the night.
      the chance they’re both battling a monstrous case of survivor’s guilt is extremely high.
