Of course, she shouldn't have died and she shouldn't have been violated and intruded upon when she wanted out of a relationship. If America's gun obsession was justified, and made sense, Amie would be alive today. Because if gun ownership worked, as the firearms lobby claims it works, she'd have made sure she carried a weapon at all times, and would have shot Gareth Pursehouse dead when he confronted her inside her home. But Amie, like the vast majority of homicide victims, was not kept alive by a gun. And her tormentor and killer was not taken out by one, before fatally harming her. More's the pity! If only Amie were in the dock for killing HIM inside her home, a toxic abuser and would-be killer, no one would miss. She would be acquitted for sure. I would support gun ownership - if it worked, and saved good people like Amie. It doesn't. But the fabulous, much-loved Amie is gone and the world is a lesser place. UGH that creep is a revolting specimen, no wonder Amie wanted nothing to do with him. It's terrifying she survived her violent, abusive relationship with Pursehouse 8 years previously, yet he returned to take her life so long afterwards. He was a ticking time bomb.
@@ThePrincessnady1 Thank you, I was waiting for exactly that predictable comment - and it took 45 minutes to arrive! You missed the point. If gun ownership worked, every female would carry one, and thousands of stalkers, killers, rapists etc, just like Gareth Pursehouse, would have been shot dead and taken out of society by their victim. How great that would be. But sadly it just does not happen. Even if Amie had carried a gun, she was taken by surprise inside her home and overpowered by a 6ft 4ins maniac twice her weight and strength. Chances are he would either have disarmed her, or turned the weapon on her. She had bought pepper spray to defend herself - no idea if she was carrying it when attacked, but if so she didn't use it. Alone, she had no chance against that monster. I wish guns kept good people alive, and annihilated the bad ones. But this and countless other murders prove they simply don't. Year after year, guns prove useless against killers like Gareth Purseglove.
What are you talkin about? She lives in California where she could not get a gun to save her life. She's going to wait a year for background check? Not to mention, she said she wanted a gun. And finally, she wasn't even killed by a gun or a weapon..
@@surpriseimblack Again, you've missed my point. No one involved in this homicide had a gun - I'm saying even if she could have got one, it would not have stopped this freak from killing her. The method by which he killed her is irrelevant - he was twice her size, she didn't stand a chance against him. The gun lobby argues law abiding citizens are safest if they have a gun, but the facts/crime statistics simply do not bear that out.
defense attorneys questions only involve what they were questioned about back by detectives...does he really think they would lie about the last time they saw their friend before she was murdered...I'm confused as to is questions, there is no defense in this case, he's just pretending to defend this coward

No. He is currently in Los Angeles County Jail. He was out on bail right after murder, but two days after Judge had him arrested and kept in jail until and during trial.
Maybe it wasn't even Amy who wrote her on 1 a.m. - but her ex who wanted evidence where Amy was that evening - Amy sitting next to him, being afraid. Because the tone in which Amy wants the pictures from the green couch sounds alarming to me.

They dated 10 years before this I think. He wasn’t her recent ex
Your friend would be proud of u
Find her evidence, very credible
I don’t think this judge handles objections well. Especially talking out objections for defense or asking questions after objections rather than the lawyers asking.
It feels like since the jury arent privileged to know how he escalated in his previous abuses after the new stalking, i hope the state asks them to use their imaginations. The details of his behavior towards the victim are disgustingly being shielded but use your imagination. Comtemplate the most vile abuses and soul crushing control tactics. Now multiply those by what you have come to learn about the monster that killed her. And protect society from this creature.
EXCESSIVE COMMERCIALS…😣
Looking extra doughy, Gareth.
like a completely different person
@@reneegardner2286 I think it’s from psychiatric medications
@SimpMagnet and in jails and prisons They don't serve high-protein they serve high carbs it helps to keep them docile cuz carbs are the devil it makes you fat and lazy Refined carbs

The microphone is ridiculous
Monster!
Why …. waste money on blatantly obvious, guilty people?
Cross exam by defendant attorney is very boring.
How long is this going to take? ...pretty repetitive. They haven't even started defense.
Why are you in such a hurry?
This defendant could be an excellent poker player....he's like frozen in his bubble...
This is so frustrating I understand its not live streamed but why are we getting only 30 min clips of 1 witness from yesterday?
Why the plexiglass?
I think it’s from Covid but could be wrong
She would have been shot if she has a gun
@@glamdolly30 you DO have some common sense after all!!!
Worst cameraman
Glare anyone?
Been like this the whole trial. We need to be thankful that you can even hear it, let alone watch!
defense attorneys questions only involve what they were questioned about back by detectives...does he really think they would lie about the last time they saw their friend before she was murdered...I'm confused as to is questions, there is no defense in this case, he's just pretending to defend this coward
Yes
Perhaps she let herself be carried away by the gurus of security and self-confidence, who assure that fear and trepidation are psychological weaknesses that threaten the obtaining of new experiences, forcing herself to overcome that visceral intuition that she felt.
Does anyone know what happened to Amie's beloved cat? I just saw in todays proceedings(day 4) actually yest..but we all know it's delayed a day(judge ugh)..and i saw her cat running up the stairs :( and my heart aches for that baby..Amie adored that cat..i hope maybe her roommate will take care of it but he does travel alot.
One of her friends adopted the cat.
Her best friend takes beautiful, loving care of Marquis 🐱 🫶🏼
Cosmetic surgeries are getting out of control
Does he ever look up?
I wish he would testify so we would know why he did not like amy.. What is his side of the story?... I doubt we will ever find out... I don't think his head is ever gonna be looking up anymore.
Ok. So looking at the pictures and listening to this. This is one screwed up lifestyle. People like this need different hobbies!
dude looked like model in other pics now with the double chin n glasses
Direct questioning 🤔
Very pretty girl. Seemed to really care deeply. ❤
Aubrey Kate is great at giving evidence
Is this guy out on bail?
