A pathetic coward who tries to excuse the stalking, beating, and merciless act of throwing a woman half his size and weight off of a balcony. All because she left him for abusing her in the first place. I hope he never sees the light of day.
Amen, it's so depressing the fabulous, much loved Amie Harwick is gone forever at just 38, yet that toxic, murdering man-baby is still here - and will cost taxpayers many thousands of dollars for his bed and board, I hope every day he continues to breath is sheer misery.

Kudos to this witness for holding her ground and refusing to have her words twisted.
I was amazingly impressed how she handled it. I also wanted to just hug her when she got emotional. So heartbreaking.
She elegantly stayed strong and didn’t allow the defense to rattle her. I’m sure Amie would be very proud. I can’t imagine being in her position.
She did a fantastic job under a lot of pressure. I'm impressed. She's obviously well prepped by the DA but that's ok, she did an excellent job remembering instructions under all that stress. Less is more, especially in court. If there's an afterlife, I'm sure Amie is really proud of her friend.
Amie has so many friends that love her. What a horrible man to take her life just because he decided to.

I live in LA and while I don’t know Amy herself, I know many people who were friends with her and let me tell you, Amy must have been an extremely special person due to how affected everyone is over her death. I’ll just say, this trial has been a LONG time coming.
That poor girl must have been absolutely terrified when she realised that monster was in her bedroom, he premeditated this murder from the meeting, he’s just sitting in the same position, no emotion, no reaction to any of the witnesses, looks like he’s happy she’s dead and can’t be with anyone else, he’s a complete monster, I hope they throw the key away on him!

Some courts will not allow the word murdered in reference to the victim.
I've seen it in a few trials where the prosecution used the word, defense objected, and the judge corrected the prosecutor.

I absolutly love this judge! He reminds me of that friend of your parents who always makes a point to make you feel as much of a friend of his as that of your parents. And i couldnt help but be impressed by the degree to which he micromanages his courtroom. Pure gold.

The defense is trying to say that she's super fit and extremely agile. And very comfortable with that balcony. There's no way she could have fallen off of it..
With modern forensics, social media, GPS, and all of the other ways that we all leave digital footprints, defense attorneys are fining it harder to defend these criminals. I guess that's why their defense strategies and questions sound so ridiculous. This witness wasn't going to get trapped by his nonsense.

Obviously she loved her friend, so for that I feel for her. I was first thinking, "CollogenBarbie met her friend 'serving ice-cream sandwiches' (LOL)... in a bikini at the poolside of rich guy's mansion, maybe?" But she's pretty much what I expected. She's pretty stereotypical. These are kind of stupid people involved in high risk lifestyles. Looking for obsession in all aspects of life is WHAT THEY DO, so it's not surprising that some of them meet with violence. I would think Amie's profession as a sex therapist would routinely put her at high risk if she wasn't particularly smart about who she took on as clients. So, in her personal life, it's not surprising that she would choose highly emotional, obsessive interaction over supportive partnerships. Of course, she shouldn't have died and she shouldn't have been violated and intruded upon when she wanted out of a relationship. But if she did meet with violence at the end, well too many times women like her kind of set themselves up when they ignore the very first warning signs, staying too long in unhealthy relationships, making it harder to get away. This whole story is all so stereotypical, it's laughable.

All too many are not, out of fear of retaliation. Not all women put themselves into potentially dangerous situations or relationships. And most murdered women, are murdered by an intimate partner, not a stranger. Female doctors, lawyers, cashiers, waitresses, stay at home moms. Every type of woman, from every walk of life. Granted, some do put themselves in risky situations, however, the problem of domestic violence is pervasive, and can happen to anyone. A woman is in the most danger when she makes the decision to leave the abuser. And many do not leave due to fear of coming to greater harm. Be a little less judgemental and try to have some compassion. This could happen to your sister, your daughter, your best friend. Even your own mother. Domestic violence is everywhere, and it isn't always physical. There are even instances of women in long term marriages who didn't experience abuse, until years into the marriage. Think before you judge. These women deserve kindness, compassion, understanding. Not a holier-than-thou attitude, not judgements by others, especially other women. Sad, how many of the comments here, express extreme jealousy of the witness' looks, completely ripping her apart with their catty disgusting comments. This world is cold, violent and cruel. Our lives should be about helping others, not hurting them. Especially women towards other women. Peace.
@@charmingjinx9379 Someone gets it. It's laughable saying her roommate should have stopped him during the murder as if he should risk his life because of her messy choices she made. Him shouting up the stairs at him was way more than many people would do. They are in high risk fields and lifestyles as "models" (code for glorified escort that meets rich men in exchange for bills paid. We know what models look like, this is not a model lol) Amiee had a brief fling with Marilyn Manson, who is accused by several women of battery and so forth. These women's ex boyfriends are not guys you want to run into in a dark room. These women made choices and took risks and sometimes there is consequences to taking risks. Gareth was very tall, very fit, and very good looking with big hair. You have to look past all that and get away quicker.

I just saw in todays proceedings(day 4) actually yest..but we all know it's delayed a day(judge ugh)..and i saw her cat running up the stairs :( and my heart aches for that baby..Amie adored that cat..i hope maybe her roommate will take care of it but he does travel alot.
