That self loading rifle looks like something you see made and sold in khyber pass. Especially with the AR furniture. Pretty cool.

That looks really nice, seems to fit very well with eyeshkeeper's Post-apocalyptic homemade weapons.

The Boomstick using astripped AK receiver is super neat, it's also based on the Sjorgen Inertial. I never thought those two firearms could be blended together but it actually makes total sense as the receivers & the way the BCGs move is similar!

Another great mod from Pig. Honestly I'd be happy if there was a replacer version of these packs and his other weapon mods, so as to get rid of the pipe weapons altogether

I think the shotgun is inspired by the swedish sjörgen inertia. It too has a visible bolt that travels openly

The only problem I had with this mod is that for some reason, the overseers guardian legendary had the combat rifle design replaced by the self loader either than that this mod is fun

would be cool if the duckbill choke actually produced an elongated horizontal spread of shot, like it does IRL, it's supposed to give you more horizontal shot coverage to hit moving targets better.

Is there a revolver mod that adds a Colt Dragoon revolver to the game? For that big iron action. I recall even Dying Light has that revolver, just named Ranger, and is double-action (IMO revolvers should have this feature as a standard). Would be really cool to have that in FO4.

I actually think the level list for these guns should be a bit higher. I think they make a nice compliment to the other weapons in the game. The way I like to envision it is, the default pipe guns are low level trash, made by people who know how a gun works but not much more than that, weapons like these and other pig guns make a nice mid game compromise, still being scrap guns, but clearly made by someone with knowledge and experience gun smithing, I could easily see these being used by better supplied militias, mercenaries, and groups like Diamond City guards, and the pre war guns are the late game weapons made from high quality parts in factories before the bombs fell, and still in working order.
My last mod the LL was too high this mod it's too low, you people are insatiable
@@Pigness7 Oh lol! Sorry man, not trying to be a nag. No I was just thinking that in a perfect world your weapons actually serve a great middle ground between absolute junk default pipe weapons and pristine prewar killing machines. Clearly made by people who know something about gun smithing but without the proper tools or equipment needed to make something of that quality. Also I love the aesthetic of like, all your guns.

I wish there was a easier way to customize fallout 4 to be more handmade weapon based and have actual factory made weapons be much more rare. There's so many awesome handmade weapons and I love using them. But to actually set it up like that is such a exhausting task.
Does this mod require another mod? I’m on Xbox series x base game only, and it says missing files every time I try to get it. I’d love to try out the mod myself though. Please let me know if I’m missing something?
My theory as to why bethesda made everything left handed (specifically the bolt action): to make animating the manipulation of bolts, charging handles and side magazines in PA easier. Just because the bulk of the PA arms would make everything clip something fierce.

some ak's are chambered in the ar's caliber, 5.56, and a few ar based guns exist specifically are made to talk Ak mags and use 7.62, but since theyre operating system is pretty different thats the most you're gonna get without being very impractical.

Combines the gas operated ak functionality with a lower from an AR platform weapon.
Chambered in either calibre, in fact I think they ship a barrel in both, and when using 7.62x39 the magazines are proprietary curved "AK mags" that slot into a the AR style magwell

Got a request for ya Dak. Know you got your own roadmap so idk if you’d be able/willing but as far as I know, there is no gauss minigun mod in this game.
Would you be willing to try to make one or alternatively pass the idea on to other modders you know?
I’d imagine it’s just a bit of custom textures, sounds, and maybe a new reload animation if needed but I have no idea how to mod so idk.
I’m kinda amazed that nobody’s made this mod yet, easily one of the coolest guns in 76, maybe even fallout in its entirety.

I want the revolver bad! Can I craft any of these? Also assault revolver is a thing, as far as I know only the French special forces used them but it still counts! The reason the pipe revolver and restored revolver look similar is probably because the pipe revolver was the only vanilla pipe weapon that didn't look like $#!t? All it needed was a better skin like the one you recommended from Gmoi.
Now if only someone would make a replacer for his weapons on xbox
I think the self loading rifle is way too heavy, if it's weight was reasonable I would probably have actually installed the mod.

I get the feeling that not a lot of people understand the difference between 50 and 50 BMG
They do, but it’s much easier when making a mod to use the existing .50 ammo rather than make proper 500 magnum or .50 ae, or .50 Beowulf ammo. Hence why most mods just use the blanket “.50 cal”

Assault weapons are not automatic, a revolver can be considered an assault weapons. To be honest, any gun can be considered an assault weapon lol. You use it to assault people. Honestly, the entire historical usage of "assault" when it comes to labeling weaponry is kinda misleading. The AR-15 and other similar rifles are NOT assault rifles. It's a sort of pet name soldiers gave the rifles they used in combat. AR-15 stands for Armalite-15. Calling it a assault pack is completely valid, even if it included, like, a machete or something lol. A machete can be considered an assault weapon.

@@Pigness7 You really need to learn to create assets like Dak. This kitbash method create poor weapons. They often clip a lot and don't look well made. Your quest mods has bugs. I couldn't get the radiants from Commonwealth Killer even after the fix.
Just because they don't fit into your tastes and your load order is fucked doesn't mean my stuff is bad

@@Pigness7 It is not only that. In All Americans, XDI doesn't work with Floating Damage Numbers, while it works with other mods. Talking about XDI, the number of the answers are all out of order in some instances.

Just found a tech demo from a fo4 dlc/expansion/thing called “A Better World.” Never heard of it till last night, might wanna check it out, perhaps make a video covering it?
It looks AMAZING! Straight up felt like a new fallout game/dlc. It looks like it’s gonna prioritize the story, and it shows. In a good way. Would really like to watch your reaction if you find it interesting.

I’d like to know if you’d be able/willing to make a patch for your heavy energy weapon pack(Tesla/plasma caster) to work with “Immersive Gameplay?”
The things needed addressing would pretty much just be the damage numbers I’d imagine.
IG changes the damage of guns, protection of armor, and health of enemies, among many other things.
The Tesla is surprisingly ok regarding damage, but the plasma is literally unusable outside of fighting mole rats, and even then it’s tough.
Also while not “needing” a change, I honestly think the rof for the Tesla and semi-auto versions of the plasma is a bit too slow in my opinion.
Also lastly, and lowest priority, the reticle of the optic for the plasma is strange, idk how to describe it but like 3D but not? Idk. Also a basic iron sight for these Tesla and/or plasma would be nice. Something like the laser Gatlings irons wouldn’t be bad, even the AA sights from the minigun would be better than nothing.
