Glad you're covering such a wide range of mods. I'm a sucker for good viewmodel animations so knowing what's not broken helps cut down on my mod testing.
You'd think no one caring about melee and heavy weapons would make people want to reanimate out of a desire to make them more satisfying to use.
I had no idea the BF1 double barrel animations changed based on if it's sawn off or not. Excellent vid btw!
Nate reloads like he was taught how, wait a minute (in all seriousness reloads are one of the most important aspects in a game, has to be satisfying or even cool)
I really like your FO4 mod videos. Even though I haven't played FO4 in a while, out of all the FO4 modding channels, yours is the best. You explain every mod's strengths and weaknesses without any sugarcoating or other bs like most other channels I've seen. Not only that, but you also rank the mods based on how it will affect your playthrough and whether it's balanced or not, despite all the fancy animations, models and textures the mod has. And I really have to respect the time and effort you put into testing these mods in power armor as well, even though I don't like this game's interpretation of power armor, it's a hell of an improvement from the older titles and it makes you feel indestructible.

He's also not monetised so i guess when there isn't an advertiser's money flicking hand ion your shoulders you can be more blunt and thorough with content creation, instead of unneeded eye candy montages to pull in more views

love ur mod videos these videos got me to redownload fallout 4 and install over 500 mods the past week while i like to think i know quite a bit about modding these games its always good to listen to what other people report and say

I am way late but the Tactical Reloads breaking weapon bash / reload animations is because your animations are before the framework in your load order. Try putting the animations later in your load order to fix it.
You are way late but thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to have to give that a try as soon as Tactical Reload is working again on the "next-gen" version.

I'd say the exagurated recoil for the new Pipe Gun animations make far more sense then their vanilla counterparts. As Pipe Guns are supposed to be clunky last pick only choice early-game guns - not something someone wants to commit to using at later levels once they get better access to more advanced pre-war guns like the Laser or Plasma lineup. Not to mention that this mod accidentally fixes the biggest gripe I had with the Pipe Guns since 2015 - that being how in spite of not being a straight-stock gun like the Combat Rifle or Combat Shotgun, the trigger grip hand will clip through the stock in 1st person.
I used to use Tactical reload until I started watching your videos. I enjoy the game so much more now without having to either search for patches and/or make patches for guns.
I started playing Fallout 4 first than Stalker Anomaly, but after playing Stalker I can't live without tactical reload, it just makes more sense. Had some issues but like everthing else, Fallout 4 will allways have things that are broken and you just have to live with that. Also, I used your videos as a reference for my most recent modded playthrough, alongside with thatMPSG videos, and I must say that finally I enjoying playing with a lot of mods and almost no issues, so much fun...

Hitman47101 has an alt optional reload for the Lever Action Rifle which is perfect for BCR
I personally dont really care for mods like tactical. I get its an immersion thing but it seems so widely incompatible i dont get the point.

There are 3 different mod pages with BCR patches for the Right Hand Lever action, which ones did you test?
I assumed the interpolation issue you mentioned was when it flys out of the players hand after finishing the partial reload. The _Tactical Bullet Counted Reload Patch_ version from this year seemingly fixes it using tactical reload.
I used the Right Handed Lever Action Reload Animations for BCR mod from 2021. The mod you mentioned does look much better, only a little bit of twisting on the left arm as long as you use Tactical Reload. I always miss something...

The fictional guns either have to be right handed ejection or the player has to use the gun on their left hand! Shells never should be in the user way!
3:27 I use this mod with dak's assault rifle replacer, giving the gun a "m249 look" and renaming it to machine gun.
What mods are you using to remove bashing animations and to make gore "RUclips-friendly"?
The bashing killmoves are removed by "No Grabs or Kill Moves", and the gore I made myself by downloading someone else's gore retexture and quickly recoloring it green and blue in Photoshop. I don't think I can redistribute it.
Cant understand why people using that buggy , broken, outdated abomination like tactical reload . Like Fallout 4 its so immersive and only thing that missing was a tactical reload
It works pretty ok when you finally get it working. Plus, I don't usually do killmoves anyway so it doesn't affect me personally.

@@denomizotakh arent you thinking of uneducated reload, not tactical reload? afaik tactical reload doesnt give you an extra bullet, it just lets reload animations be different if you dont fully expend it, i.e Double-barrel shotgun when only firing one shot will only reload one shot, or 10mm won't rack the slide
Uneducated reload or bullet in the chamber does gives the extra bullet, Tactical reload only changes the animation?? Really ? all of this mess of a mod just to not rack the slide? Im impressed how many impeciles theres in this world@@NebulatheZorua

as far as the smg goes, id recommend the m1928a1 day of infamy mod. but id also recommend replacing most of the weapons in fo4 any way lol

Frankly , for the "Hunting Rifle" , I prefer the Animation from "The Bolt sometimes changes"
Almost every reanimation mod has something noticeably wrong with it. The right handed ak and the combat rifle with exaggerated recoil are the only good ones.
I don’t get why are all guns left handed
It was likely a time-saving measure that ensured most weapons could be animated while keeping the right hand parented to the weapon in 3DS Max.

I imagined it wouldn't be easy to find reload animations for a game where every single one of the weapons have designs so physically impossible, and ugly that most people just replace them.
I preffer the vanilla models , they are more immersive, but i have to recognize there is a prefference for modern weapons from players

Very good, aside from the TacReload hate. I won't use ANY gun mod that's not compatible with it or can't be patched to work with it, and boy, I have lots of them set up (that goes for BCR, and the right handed weapons remeshes too. And I'm left handed!). It's always worked for me, aside from the bullshit smash anims, but like you said, those suck anyway. TR does need to be mindfully implemented though; definitely no plug and play with it. I'm fine with that though; people need to learn how to use xEdit anyways. Read any mod comment section to see the cavalcade of people asking for mod patches that ammount to simple keyword swaps, or something to the effect. They need to have there games crash so they can A. learn, or B. be driven off for being cringe casuals. Keep it up bud! I take your recommendations/reviews with the utmost consideration.
tacreload is such a pain, makes setting up a loadorder take longer than i'll even play the game for, god forbid i try unpatched weapon packs

what???? the laser rifle and handmade rifle animations are some of the best I've seen in a lot of shooters, theyre insanely good
@@jaek__ I don't like the sluggish movement almost every reanimation has. They look cartoonish and out of place. Vanilla laser rifle animation is just better IMO while handmade isn't too bad. That's without even counting the glitches some reanimations have and the fact that many of them use different style of animation
@@balemdl866 MrLameGaming and Hitman's anim's have almost no bugs at all, every single default animation in Fallout 4 looks janky and poorly done, not too mention the bad sound design, off models and obvious laziness, I think especially the laser rifle breathes some amazing life into those weapons
