Of course Benjamin Milliepied would want to deliver the message of “feeling no shame” given his own shame of cheating on his wife repeatedly after his career took off.

I'm not sure Jeff would approve of this. Just look at this piece it does not represent Jeff Buckley's work at all, what a tragedy.

Jeff's lyrics are literally 'feel no shame for what you are'. What a horribly judgemental thing for you to say. This piece is incredible & he absolutely would've dug it.

@@nicolecordy1723 to say that in my opinion this piece does not represent Jeff Buckley work is neither horrible nor judgemental. I did not talk about the piece itself. I see it and can't associate it with his short body of work, is more like this piece used his music and that's it, in my opinion.

@@MarinaMrls that's how you choose to see it and that's fine too. Sometimes we tend to come off a bit judgmental when we see someone using Jeff's material in their artwork, but that's all it is. Someone used it for their art piece and conveyed a lovely feeling in this dance piece. Whether Jeff would have liked it or not, well, he's not here to say.

He was also an artist and judged others art. Highly doubt he'd enjoy this given his taste while living.

Another collective masturbation where style, self-indulgence, and pretence are at the center of the work, leaving no room for any real content, context, and artistic value. Such a shame that Nowness is promoting such work when there are great choreographers who have to stay in the dark.
