LOST MIND is a narrative dance film exploration of the psyche by director, writer, and choreographer Sara Silkin. The film recounts her inability to identify her father's mental illness throughout her life. With her powerful application of surrealist movement imagery, she recreates the emotional physical highs experienced during a manic episode, followed by the endless spirals of depression caused by bipolar disorder.

I must say i cried watching it, it was so moving... life... love... patterns... childhood traumas... Fear of attachement... anxious avoidant... everything was there ... n black n white has my heart... So intense it was...
I come back here once in a while to come appreciate this work of art. It's truly a source of inspiration for me just everything about it. The dance, cinematography, editing, structure, and sound choice. Thank you for putting this out there for us to see it's such an experience.
