    Cool project. I’ve always loved the non-wrap around back glass on the 70-74 F-bodies.

    Starting the front end on mine (79), took me years to gather everything. The back will be my most challenging, along the sheet metal I’m doing a 4link and mini tub.

      what are you doing to the front end? are you gonna do the 72 split or what style and yes the rear end is very challenging especially throwing a mini tub in the mix!

      There are kits for 2nd gen for a 4 link, I’m actually going with an air instead of coil over. Rear is a 12 bolt I pick up at a swap meet, I will narrow and do some cutting and welding for the new suspension. Back seat will be modified for this set up. (Think of a daily/road course blend) all Wilwood brakes, 6piston up front, 4 in the back. Tubular upper and lower, 2” drop spindles, t56 tranny, super charged LSX (came out of my nova)
      I will be flaring the front and rear ( not the tacky wild flares, these will be metal)
      It’s funny, I bought the car in 1989 for 1500, went into the military for 35 years and I only drove the car 4 times. Still to this day it has 23k. I also own a 78 trans am I built in early 2000s, 89 mustang, 66 Chevy, 59 cadi, 65 VW bug w/ 289 small block, 86 Lincoln mark 7 (726 hp to the wheels) and a cobra kit car (hardtop)
      I’ve built everything myself and painted all of them. (Paid for interior)

    How much would you charge me to do my rear bumper conversion

    • @BSBuilt94
      @BSBuilt94  5 дней назад

      honestly i’m not sure iv already got over 100 hours in it and it’s not done yet cuz it’s too hot to work on it and there’s a lot to it what year is yours? and how far are you wanting to go?

    • @BSBuilt94
      @BSBuilt94  5 дней назад

      @@D.OBullycamp it’s a lot of work you have to get full rear quarters to use just the ends other wise you’ll have bad gaps around the rear panel then you’d have to make a bumper bracket because the trunk is super different honestly it wouldn’t be super cheap or fast either way

    • @D.OBullycamp
      @D.OBullycamp 5 дней назад

      @@BSBuilt94 how much you if I brought parts and you did labor and I know nothing “fast” when it comes to these old schools

    • @BSBuilt94
      @BSBuilt94  5 дней назад

      @@D.OBullycamp well where are you located? and it would for sure have to be after mine was done which should be end of this year maybe into couple months of 2025
      as for labor price if your wanting to do it the other way where you keep the trunk and rear back glass probably around $5500 to 6k? either way is a lot of work but there’s less to the short cut
