Just started my 3D modeling journey last week after being inspired by these incredible artists. Love the live streams and in depth vids I’ve already learned a lot!
I'm just an hour into the vid, but this is so nice to see! Love the breakdowns, the techniques, the tips and tricks!!! Congrats to All! And thanks for the insights! Keep Rocking Clint
Love those interviews. They are so important. It’s not about the tools, it’s just about creative ideas and problem solving. It’s nice to see humanity. ❤
Hey, buddy, are you sure you're not confusing 3D modeling with a religious cult? Clearly, the gospel of Blender is spreading! 🤗Soon, those who dare touch Maya or 3ds Max will be excommunicated for heresy! I wonder if I'll ever be forgiven by the Blender God for rendering in Arnold, or is that an eternal sin? 😔 If you could answer me, I'd be very grateful. Amen. ✝
51:17 - This is something I feel I'm so lucky to understand. That feeling of looking at a 3D scene and being in awe. I suppose gamers often feel this way when they see some cool environment that wows them but for us it can be a single object or some weird effect and it's such a fantastic area of art to be into. This feeling still takes me back to when I was a kid watching Toy Story and one day teenage me thought, 'how do they make this, what's 3D graphics?'
incredible entries all around and first place definitely deserved his spot for his fantastic story, animation, lighting and more, although I am a little disappointed to hear that the entire environment for first place was a premade environment imported from unreal engine. I was hoping there was a little bit more artistry in that element because it looks so great. I can't fault him for that, most people use assets and premade characters for everything. I just wish I heard there was a little more energy put into the Mise en scene that I liked so much about it as well. Congratulations again and well deserved regardless
I feel you! Im also a little bit sad that I didnt put much hands on work on the environment aspect, I just didnt want to gamble on the limited time I have and wanted spend it all on things that mattered most to me which was animation and lighting - but yes if I had the full month to myself I would have done more to the environment.
They made me feel motivated and foolish to think I couldn't do it I thought I use blender and I didn't really know about stuff but they also did all the work in only 1 or 2 software on top of they are normal humans with not having any more benefits than me If they can do it I have to tryna do my best thank you for this breakdown thing.
I asked too early. In a few moments he says it’s Obsidian. (Which is similar to Milanote / Notion - which are the two programs I use). Which is kinda lame because that layout looks very useful and I don’t want to switch programs.
@@PedroScherz i asked while I’m watching. Lol. Heard you say it moments later and have downloaded the program already. I use Notion and Millanote. This Canvas mode look’s like a solid mix of those two programs. Love the work you did. Great story in 5 seconds. Very inspiring.
Pierwsze miejsce powinno być co najwyżej wyróżnione. Miejsce Trzecie moim zdaniem ma bardzo słabą animację i nie powinno się tu znajdować. Pozdrawiam serdecznie.
Thanks for having me, Clint, it was an honor! Congrats to everyone on making it into the Top 5, really amazing work!!
Great Animation btw, environment is crazy!
Thank you for running through the different versions! Very enlightening.
It was fantastic being here again interacting with you. I was blown away watching these workflows. Amazing times!
Beautiful work on your piece. Well deserved.

考拉OK,你真棒!看了那个视频,我很感动,也想学Blender,但是我已经学会3Ds Max。所以我不知道如果学Blender以后会不会受到影响。😢
Okay, thank you so much!😁
not gonna compare them but it doesn't hurt to learn more tools.
This kind of competitions make progress possible, so thank you Clint! You’re awesome!
Aiman putting 🇲🇾 on the map!

4 out of 5 using blender!!!
I love that, it makes me feel like less of a noob for only using Blender

Looks, not saying it is, but looks kinda similar to Milanote.

Are you guys all using render farms or are you rendering on your local machines? What kind of times per frames are you getting?
@@TangleWireTube i used fox renderfarm, I got about 3/4 mins per frame in 1920x810 using GPU, not sure how many nodes
