Don't know if someone beat me to it or you were already aware, but for anyone who isn't, this game works off a heat map. "Heat" in this case refers to almost any action the player does. Vehicle usage, crafting bench usage, guns, zombie deaths, torches, etc. The higher the heat, the more zombies and more deadly zombies will spawn. This works with your gamestage, which goes up as you live longer, kill zombies, and level up. Basically the more you settle down the more deadly the zombies, even in comparison to normal progression. Screamers, great whites, boomers, radiated zombies, spitters, and cops will always be more likely to spawn as you play... but settling down only increases those chances. Stay on your toes One more tip that I remember. Relates to quests. Whenever you do them, loot the POI first. Whether that be the whole thing or just the loot room is up to you, but when you start a quest it will reset the POI. Giving you double the loot.
@NeverLate123 have your main areas spread out a bit. Crafting base, horde base, and mining areas are all big heat generators so keeping them apart will help with screamers
Protip for pillared bases: if you place pillars on a 3x3 or 4x4 grid, you can place plates or half-walls on the sides of the pillars and said plates/half-walls have the same durability as a full block. Basically one column becomes five. And if you use corner blocks on the corners, each pillar becomes nine pillars' strong, which for cobblestone means your "pillars" are like 13.5k durability each instead of 1,500 (or whatever it is now). Downside is that it makes upgrading a real pain since you still have to hit the center with a hammer to do so, but each side of each block has a ONE-pixel-wide window for hitting the block behind it so it can be done without having to peel off a side, but it's _really_ touchy and fiddly.
@@dridda9117 Yeah honestly, one of the greatest parts of 7 days to die is its customisation. People who are into hardcore difficult games can just set it to insane and 64 hordes, then hordes every 3 days or something batshit. If someone prefers a more casual gaming experience, they can turn down the difficulty and up the xp or loot or something. Even longer days!
My longest playtime was 400+ days back on Alpha 18. Currently have a handfull of “HEN” horde every night games with 60-100 days too and a horde every 3rd night. Love this game!
@@NeverLate123 I can help you out alot with tips and stuff but it tho seems like you’ve got most of the knowledge about the game already 😁 I have over 1k hours so far 😅
@@Logan619ine-i5q Every time you level up, or consecutively survive a day, your gamestage (basically a stat that means the progression stage you're at in the game) goes up by a bit. Eventually when it reaches really high numbers, say 800 (1 level is 1 gs, 1 day survived in a row is 1 gs each time too, and difficulty + biomes give you multipliers on gs depending on difficulty) it will sort of cap out, because the game doesn't have any harder mobs to spawn. So you'll kinda just keep encountering the same high tier mobs over and over again, but on the flipside the higher your gamestage the higher your lootstage (the same thing as gs, except with obtainable loot and not ingame progression)
A tip for your future bases, there is a block called 'railing' basically just the bars but better as you can upgrade/repair through them and they have a chance of stopping cop spit
"Scaffolding ladder" is what you want to use for a fighting block. It's the only block that you can melee through AND blocks cop spit. You can't melee through regular railings or bars.
I realy love these 100 day challenges, and with 7d2d beiing one of my favourites, I knew id love this video, but I also realy like you humor and editing, keep up the good work, you definitely get a sub from me👍
bro, the editing probably took FOREVER. I am really satisfied with this video. thank you so much for making it. I am getting into this game and your vid is kind of like an introduction to me :).
I've never played or watched anything from this game, but this video was amazing, the amount of work, all the cuts that you've made while building to not make things boring was amazing, great job!
I was watching this on my xbox (No commenting available account) saw your server and world crashed!! Felt your pain!! 😢😢 (Been there) and thought nah man this guy deserves a like, comment and a subscribe just there alone. So went to this account and here I am!! But thanks for the tips and strats along the way!! This was well done, funny and pain all in the one. Thanks dude I guess I'm tryna say and keep making videos!!😊😊
Really enjoy the vid. As i got some experience in this game i also play with hordes every 3 days. 7 days is way too much time to prepare. But more hordes also come with the benefit of more XP. So more risk for more reward. Btw, i also needed my sweet time to figure out how the forge works in this game 😂
Tavo kanalas labai geras ir linksmas. 7 Days to Die žiauriai įdomu buvo, tikrai turi talentą. Gerai kad tu iškerpi monotoniškus veiksmus ir žaidimas atrodo kaip speed run.
If you ever get a robotic sledgehammer you should use it especially for your base to knock down enemies from your bridge ( or you could use it to defend your back in POIs when you check your inventory )
Enjoyed watching a new player. Hope to see you play again. You know, the whole forest biome is made of stone just under the dirt. Most people dig a mine and get it in one spot instead of searching for boulders on the surface. And if you're smart you'll start a mine under an ore node and hope to find other veins while getting stone.
😶 This 7 Days to Die is Soo much more Beautiful and Realistic on Zombies sleeping on the floor than the PS4 version.... Why Can't they Give Updates on PS4 to make it like this ?....
Very nice video ,also very good work on the editing it does show that you have experience ,but i only have a problem with the misleading tittle you said you survived for 100 days but you only reached day 30 i suggest adding a Part 1 cause not everyone (including me xd ) read the description ,but overall nice work bro will make your dream a reality inshaellah 💯💯💯
Thanks so much my G. Yeah i know that i kinda fooled everyone with the 100 days, but if it was part1 i dont think anyone would click hahah. I’ll make sure to make it actually 100 days next time tho
Quick tip whilst building a new base you can just craft like cobble stone blocks or what ever blocks instead of farming wood to make a cobble stone block
@NeverLate123 o yeah, excellent job. The game got kinda lame because now you are forced to loot alot and all the time to get books to learn to make things. No books, no progression.
@NeverLate123 back in the day, you got your skills up by doing them. Basically, if you wanted to run for longer, you did any physical activity. If you wanted to mine faster, you mined. If you wanted to know how to make a workbench, first earn skill points in construction by upgrading and repairing blocks, and then invest skill points in the workbench. Want to make better weapons and tools? Make some, and you will be better at it as you make some. It's a shame that they changed it to what we have now.
on any quest, double loot - go to the exclamation point (quest start) and ignore it - run in, kill and loot everything, then go back out and click on the exclamation point. Everything re-spawns - so, go back in and loot everything again.

Dig a huge ditch around your base and funnel them through endless chambers of doors and concrete and iron bars
I think but im not sure that you can dig out the Mines at the military base and use it for your base for protection @@NeverLate123
