5:50 As someone who basically mains Fire Eclipse i figure I'd throw in my two cents. In groups I'd 100% recommend Survivalist over Firewall. Even on Heroic your group should be killing stuff fast enough that Firewall's extra burn duration isn't super necessary, especially with the 10% bonus damage to status effected enemies from Survivalist. Also the Crossbow is a great support option for groups because it will instantly crack chungas, and inflict bleed, letting your group get the bonus damage on them as well.
For weapons Scorpio is hands down the best now we can roll DTTOC on it, because aside from buffing the damage ticks it offers even more statuses/CC. For secondaries there's a couple of good choices. Pyromaniac because of the bonus to burning enemies, which will basically be all of them. Test Subject (or any In-Sync weapon), because once you know what you're doing you can use that to overwrite a fire tick on an already burning enemy on the rare occasions when they're not going to die before it runs out (only a stronger fire tick can overwrite an existing one). Lefty/Stage Left for proccing Sledgehammer, especially if you're using Survivalist because the fire from the grenade also procs it, so you can prep spawn points once you know them.
For skills, another alternative instead of sticky (if you're also running fire chems), is stinger hive. Great for a drop + forget in front of a spawn point so you can focus elsewhere.
What about the gun talent Perpetuation. Is that worth it at all?
@@RaulNigliIt can be, just depends how much you want to faff around getting headshots. Personally I don't like it because to start fights I prefer to use my skills before the enemy spread out, and once the fight has started trying to line up a headshot while they're either flailing around on fire, or running for cover is a pain. I'd much rather just use an in sync gun where I only have to tag them anywhere, and then focus on my skills, making sure I'm covering spawn points and the like.
You can't recab this weapon. Well I can't is there some criteria I have to meet or soemthing to be able to re roll exotics?

Don't forget Hunter's Fury + Memento + Intimidate! It's a great option for clearing Heroic content while maintaining survivability, and you can easily hit as hard as a full striker build with a few kills.
Definitely, especially solo. HF is great for that. It was my first setup that could do Heroic stuff solo, and I kinda suck.
Back when I first got the SHD watch, the first build I put together was a Hunter's Fury Liberty Headshot build. Chainkiller and all.
As the shield guy when playing through the game's story with my family and friends, this build seemed like a good next step.
Here's the thing: I sucked real bad; I couldn't use the build, lol. Plus, without SHD and with my gear having low rolls, my stats were pretty abhorrent.
Now I'm SHD 701, and after like a year or something, here I am, returning to Hunter's Fury after using everything else, and it just feels right, man.
Just last week I put together a HF Liberty + Bulwark setup built for bodyshots and crits... and it's just really nice and easy. IMO, it has really good, smooth, up-front damage... for a non-Striker build anyway.
Especially if you get to pull out that M780 (?) shotty. That thing is nasty, yet my rolls are trash on it. Like... low-mid, and I got Accuracy...
[Ceska, D&H, Intimidate, Adrenaline Rush, all crit stats. 3 blue, 3 red.)
The Umbra + PfE version of the build was fine and braindead-easy, but I didn't like hiding in cover every 10 seconds or so, just to keep the damage decent. It was uber safe, killed fine, but moved slow. Felt bad in pubs.

Thanks Hutch! Great video! I think this is really helpful for new players to understand loadouts and making builds. I get all your choices but I think that some were very advanced and more for veterans (speedrunners?). I think including a tank build (foundry armor regen) would have been good for new players to see what to do with all their blue core gear. Having said that, I really appreciate you putting this list out there! Most other content creators aren’t coming from the speed run/legendary community and don’t have that perspective on builds. Looking forward to more build videos in the future!

I cant state how nice this is to have - I've just returned to the game on a new character after literal years and am starting to dive into the end game. The whole video is a really nice directive on what to farm for & save to my loadouts. Helps a ton that my first couple of exo drops have been pretty lucky with vile, coyote and st elmos lol. Anyways thanks a ton for this!
Came back to the game after a 6 months break and, after retesting a few of my old 32 different builds, i felt i was dying too much. The only builds still viable for running all types of solo heroic were my balanced hybrid builds: those with a minimum of 20% hazpro, 20% AoK, 25% PfE, 1.4M+ armor, 3 red cores, 1 yellow core, some armor regen, shield and turret, Memento or Ninja BP, and Scorpio or the St Elmo's.
With the amount of new gear added to the game lately, the combinations are nearly infinite. Just test and tinker untill you find a build you like. For me half the fun is making builds. 😊
Mentioned skill build is a good starter kit, but can be done better as it may get hard to get a skill kill for tech support talent activation in group play. Without it, one could go for: 3x Empress; 2x Hana U (with named BP); Waveform. Or if one don´t fancy exotic holster, it can be swapped for Wyvern piece, while losing little bit of skill damage. For weapons, if one want rifle, they can swap Test subject for Harmony to have same talent.

With my crowd control build, i use:
vile mask
Eclipse chest
Eclipse holster
Wyvern backpack with creeping death, status and skill damage
Eclipse gloves
Eclipse kneepads
Its a great crowd control build AND a good solo build for even heroic. Hell, it works flawlessly in countdown, I get many people thanking me for running the build due to vile's talent. In CD its even more broken when you get those who already apply bleed, so use a scorpion shotgun with blinder firefly and sticky bomb. Skill haste mods will have you pegging sticky's every 15s and blinders every 15s. Build is well rounded for all status effects! Must try
Vile Mask is unimportant here. It does absolutely minimal to nothing at all, having extra rolls for Skills haste is vastly more important.
Wyvern is litterally giving you nothing. Same argument can, of course, be made for Habsburg, but here we are compensating with Perfect Creeping Death.
@@DodRegnbue IDK what build setup you're running but my skill haste is fine 🤷 vile mask is meant to give the enemies a debuff for you and your team. The moment you peg somebody with a sticky and vile proc's and they're on fire, detonate the sticky. Vile will boost your skill damage even further due to a debuff. Same for let's say a stinger hive, it will boost the damage further. Wyvern wear is also meant for the boost in skill damage/status effects. Skill haste is good to have don't get me wrong, but having an exponential amount of skill haste where you're using your skills to apply status effects AND kill the enemy but you're doing no damage is pointless. Besides, you can just stack skill haste on your skills with the mods, hence why I said you can just keep launching sticky's every 15 seconds. That's not bad at all considering the damage you get off a sticky bomb.
To each their own opinions and playstyle, but instead of saying specific things of a build are "useless and unimportant", maybe open your mind to different variations? Just saying 💁
@@realmr57 I see the problem, you are mixing CC and Fire.
This is bad. Pick one.
For Fire Eclipse, you need Vile mask and a Golan/Electrique Piece, while always having the Eclipse Chest and Backpack in play.
For CC, you want a Backpack with Creeping (perfect preferably) and a Hana U piece for haste.
You mixing the two, having Creeping on Fire is just a straight 30% nerf. No way around it, damage wise, you do very little to what you can.
Then in the same vein, using Vile on Foam is just a no go. It does nothing.
@@DodRegnbue bruh I literally just told you there's build variations, I'm VERY AWARE of how to make crowd control builds. I wasn't born yesterday. I just prefer to have higher skill damage because I mostly use the stinger hive and the burn sticky. Again, it's MY PREFERRED way to play. You can sit here and keyboard warrior argue with me all you want but fact still stands that I prefer having the debuffs and skill damage while still being able to crowd control. Obviously if I wanted straight crowd control and max tick damage I'd be using the build you're talking about 🤦
I can take most Heroic CPs faster with my fire build than my Striker build.

Hotshot/Sniper Build Feedback (seems to be my thing to comment this now):
- M700 (not the carbon variant) deals the highest bullet damage e.g. outperforming every non exotic sniper in terms of damage.
You can build this with full Blue Cores as an Open World Variant with 1.7 mil armor as most of the damage comes from headshot mods/attributes + headhunter stacks.
How to play it - no matter the build:
1) Get Headhunter stacks running (take care, they drop off after 30s of not killing anything), best start with a red/purple enemy
2) Keep Headhunter up, max is 2 stacks. You lose those stacks when shooting electronics or Helmets. You do however keep Determined up on Electronic Oneshots (like Warhounds, tanks, drones..). In Group activities it can be worth it choosing the right Taget to not lose it. Solo you'll just need to start rolling it again with little issue.
3) Only situation to switch weapon is when you need that perverted extra high boom f.e. on named bosses or chunga. You lose Determined so you gotta aim. You ruin your Headhunter stacks if you switch to a weapon with lower bullet dmg (like an AR).
However, if you switch to a Nemesis while you are at 2 Headhunter Stacks, use the Achilles Pulse on that one target, get overcharged by a friendly support and then charge the Nemesis to max.. boy I don't want to be that enemy.
Most serious End Game player out right avoid Determined. (personal choice for them).
As such, although what you are saying is not wrong, it is just impossible if you imagine that Determined does not exist, which is how many treat that talent.
Which then leads on to the failings of the M700. The Reload.
As such, from ehre we have the M700 Carbon, and the SR1.
if you dont have the raid pistol, a d50 with flatline is also a good option for the pistol headshot damage, just make sure you are also pulsing for that 15% extra damage as well

My personal favorite Strikers variant is 3 piece Strikers (Chest, Mask, Knees) Ninjabike Backpack and 2 piece Brazos (Picaros Holster, Gloves) The skill tiers + armor cores from Picaros and Ninjabike give the Firewall shield 3.3M+ health giving me good survivability and the skill tiers are also nice for having multiple reviver hive charges for helping up newer players. For weapons i typically use Ouroboros + Famas/Lefty or Elmos + Dark Winter/Lefty. all Core Attributes and Attributes are rolled red other than Ninjabike and Picaros' unchangeable rolls.

I would say that a key build you are missing in this list is a tardigrade tank support build. Way to support variations include opportunistic on the backpack with a Scorpio shotgun and a D50 pistol. Or a regulus or liberty pistol and a m870 shotgun. Vanguard for some situations etc.
Determined on guns for sniper build. Waveform skill build is decent but i prefer 3 empress, 2 Hana u, one wyvern kinetic momentum on chest and named backpack force multiplier for perfect combined arms. With in sync on the guns it allows skills to consistently melt elites and all other content

Regarding determined, I don’t personally run it because I feel that it just halts progression in terms of aim and it’s a bit cheesy - but I appreciate others are a fan of it and I have nothing against those who do use it

im planning on getting the strikers build here, but im having a hard time farming since i only go solo. I don't know how to and where to farm it, i just maxed my character to 40 an im currently on a stagnant phase now. Any tips for me ?

Out side of Head Hunter's Fury, a Hunter's Fury SMG build is only really "meta" in solo play, and even that would be debatable. Striker, here is just so much more powerful. So much more.
Hunter's drop about 22% damage for more survivability, which is fine. Nothing wrong with it. I personally argue that in solo, Hunter's Fury is THE best set.
But I do also drop it in favour of Strikers in group play, except for Head Hunter's Fury.

I would add a 4pc cavalier , setup bp , pointman chest and scorpio for countdown . Handing out 100% haz pro , tons of bonus armor and amp weapon damage . I wouldn't run it anywhere else but it's fun and very effective when farming countdown . Just for the folks who got tired of running dps 24/7 🤣🤣🤣.

Wyvern momento 3 pc empress picaros holster skill damge everywhere and i went with chc for my extra gear rolls Spotter chest talent. Mods are skill haste. Skill haste to my understanding works in such a manner that it has decreasing value the more it is put on gear so no need on gear rolls around 14 sec cd for both turret and drone without stack and 10 -11 with. Momento in place of waveform because 30% skill efficency is a overall talent meaning 30% skill damge haste health and duration for both skils waveform only can have max stack for one skill at a time not both. I went with a dotc carbine 7 the spotter laser pointer with in sync but any prefered in sync weapon that can use the laser pointer will do. The test subject unless changed cannot use the laser pointer. My extra core slot went to weapon damage but the armor can be viable to help with the momento armour regen passive but armor seems almost negeligable hence my weapon core slot preference. Can solo most if not all solo heroic content. do not use against hunters, unless open world hunters. with tech pulse and max momento the drone hits for 115k+ and the turret 200k+ the capacitor works but not way to get a consistent pulse ive had enemies be pulsed while using capacitor but i cant confirm or deny how i think skills can pulse sometimes but 🤷♂️. It is also not immediate like insync and requires more than one bullet to stack can pulse and switch to stack capacitor but by the time you reach max stack the enemy is no longer pulse to switch and pulse again will cause you to lose capacitor buff. its just my experimentation with this build and tried to optimize it. It has outperformed strykers and waveform on legendary more than once. It has joined jn the middle of missions and top dps at end. It is not fully optimized and my expertise is only lvl 6. Give it a go i suggest it over waveform 100% thanks for your time take care 🙏

Well damn I don't have Regulus but want a headshot build. Can a D50 with Determined work? No way for me to get the raid exotic
can you go in a bit more depth as to why ceska > fox's prayer/contractors on the strikers setup ?
I’d have to assume the reason is to maintain a high crit chance. I’m going back and forth on it a lot as well, but what I’m noticing (depending on the weapon you choose) you need to balance your crit chance at 50% minimum. Using both of those takes away from a decent chunk of crit chance that ceska provides, or crit damage as you sacrifice one of those two stats for fox or contractor.
Even using one can throw the dynamic out a little bit, because you might have to sacrifice coyote for ninjabike back in order to still get the bonuses of strikers. In addition another gear set like grupo to provide further crit damage or providence to get some extra headshot and crit damage due to ninjabike allowing for instant tier 2 on any brand set.
As I’m typing this I’m not checking the full possibilities as my brain hurts trying to think how to work this in with other items to try and get optimal damage and survivability for my style of play as I’m solo, but hate swapping pieces just for raids and incursion.
Fuck this. Im just 47secs into it and cant stop laughing. If I have to rate it from 0 to cringe I would say you easily hit it for 19 out of 10. Have to say I love and appreciate ur Vids so much. My Favourite so far is the History of Speedrunning. I got so hard goosebumps while remembering the time all that happens. Keep it on man

I've gotten higher tick damage from wyrvn vs electric. Only difference is the + skill damage vs status. Any reason why that is? This is for eclipse
Status is kind of divided into two areas. Duration and Damage.
Skill Damage is well, just that.
With both the Chem and Sticky, the burn is determined by the ignition of the skill (explosion).
The burn will be X% of the explosion. Skill damage has a greater effect on the explosion over Status effect.
However, Status Effect will directly influence the burn, not the explosion as well as the duration of the burn.
Simple analogy. Status Effect = Death by a thousand paper cuts. Skill Damage = A Stick of Dynamite.
The issue now is the spread and the Refresh duration. By opting in to Status effect, this will cut your Refresh and Spread. Sure, not by much, if it is at least just one roll. But inm the long run, after a few spreads, you will lose damage.

I’m not a PvP player, never have been and never will be as Division PvP has been in a sorry state since Div 2 released - thus I won’t post PvP builds, as I have no idea what I’m talking about

I mean this is ideal for new players or even players who can be overwhelmed with build making. Every build is viable. If you want to create a PVE only character build then this is the ideal blueprint.

One build ive enjoyed (i play legendary with randoms often 🤪 to help out and test builds) is Striker 4 piece with armor rolls and Momento backpack and Groupo mask. It gives 1.7 million armor and can still hit for almost 600k when stacked without Momento procking. Switch out armor rolls for weapon damage and you have a very solid resilient build when you're uncertain about others on your team

I’m personally of the opinion that tanks don’t really have a place outside of specific raid roles. They can work, but imo are never optimal
why 7 skill tier on the Oxi build everything else is ok but the 7 skill tier?
it’s 7 skill tier because in speedruns, it’s not uncommon to have to switch off of technician to support the team a bit more, and for me it’s easier to just keep it ready for that switch at all times - and there aren’t really any cores that’d help out so you’re not missing out running 7

meta = most effective tactic available. i don’t disagree with your point that basically anything works because we’re power crept like crazy, but by nature SOMETHING has to be the most effective for a given situation, even if it’s only by a small bit, therefore there will always be a meta in any game with player choice on equipment

Strikers just need one build I don't use the vest and it works perfect no need for multiple builds that are the same apart from one piece.
I figured Id fast forward to what the other status build variant was before I went all Karen and raged then I saw you DID have a creeping death BP! I have been using that very build I had seen on reddit/youtube/who knows and my god is it a GAME CHANGER when it comes to legendary. Srsly people. If you suck or are sick and tired of BORING ASS STRIKER play Riot Foam Creeping Death Eclipse.
For a skill build with striker drone and turret you better run with the Condensator and your secondary with sync.
If you run sniper... No exotic sniper rifle. Use the model 700 or the Tactical with determined combined with the chainkiller and the scorpio as secondary.
