Thanks for the great review and instructions! My husband is having lower back issues and recently learned he has scoliosis. He has just finished 10 sessions of PT (which he says hasn't helped). The therapist did use a TENS unit as well as other massage and dry needling in conjunction with his therapy, so I thought it would be helpful to get him a unit that he can use at home. I know little to nothing about these things, but after reading a lot of reviews, I ended up with this one. I feel obligated to learn this thing before giving it to my husband (if I want him to use it that is), but haven't quite worked up the nerve to try it. The instructions that came with it were unbelievably tiny print which made me a little crazy trying to sift through them. So your informative (and entertaining) review will help!
I bought my Belifu on Amazon and only paid $30 for it. It looks to be the exact same unit you reviewed, except it does not have the nice hard shell case, just a little lightweight bag, so I feel like I got a really good deal after watching your review. I can live with a cheap bag rather than a hard shell case for $20 less.😂
Wow! By far the best description of this product this far hands down!
My wife wanted Dr.Ho's but I wasn't comfortable spending $200+ CAD on it since a lot of reviews were saying it's garbage. Found this and tons of good reviews comparatively. Found your review and now I am fully confident she's gonna love this. She's a long time rugby player so pain relief is necessary hehe.
I just got one of these also and I wanted to let you know that the cords can be easily separated for better reach. It's not going to hurt the wires if you pull and separate them. I have the same brand and model as you and learned from another user that they're meant to do that. Thanks a bunch for showing me how to use it.
Thanks for the tip Melissa!
You seem like a good dude. Thanks for the review. 🙂
Hey, a couple things I forgot to talk about:
1. You can buy replacement pads for around $13 (I put a link in the description). Haven't had to use them yet, but I'm sure they're fine, as they're also made by Belifu.
2. This unit is also marketed for its ability to tone and firm muscle. So will it? Yes it will...in the same way a pogo stick can you from New York to LA. Technically speaking, it can tone muscle, but it's nowhere near a substitution for resistance training. I suggest you go to the gym and use it when you get back :)
Also, I mention that you can use 6 pads at once. I'll stand by this (as demonstrated in the video), but I will say it's not listed in their literature, and the pulse does feel a little weaker in the two extra pads (on a 4-wire unit).
I have an actual muscle strain and this unit is helping.
Thanks so much! 🥰 Got one as a gift for my knee!
You/re awesome! I just bought one and was curious how to use the machine and found you. Thank you!
TY Rob! Very helpful video. It was entertaining too!
the presentation was wonderful lol. its packaged very well
You sound like Kronk from Emperors new groove lol! I really appreciate the review and demo. I just purchased one and wasn’t sure how to use it so thank you!
Haha--several people in my office used to call me Kronk. At another place they use to call me Puddy. I guess there are worse things than being Patrick Warburton's voice's doppelganger :)
Do you give it a thumbs up or thumbs down?
I love the dresden and Jim butcher nod. I not only am listening to winter knight I seen a copy of storefront today at Walmart. Now I'm watching your video as I try to get familiar with my TENS unit. Thanks man
great personality. loved it. thank you.
I was hoping to learn how to use it. But I never found the section. Thank for the review and learning about your experiences and all.......
When you were operating it we saw how it affected you, but you never showed what you were pressing or what was on the screen. Impressive knee
Lots of good information. Thanks
Have you ever used the EMS while doing a low intensity workout?? I am looking for a device to stimulate glutes and quads a bit more. Thanks for this video!!
I bought this unit and couldn't get it to work properly. Finally discovered the tens/ems and I+ buttons were reversed.
News flash: Both the Marc Pro and the Belifu are the same unit just different names and slightly different exterior look and color scheme. The main difference is you pay $50 for the Belifu instead of $1500!
I like it. B8ut have not discovered how to access more than the six basic modes.
TENS EMS 28 Programs (Model: JRW-666), JRW Manufacturer
You can adjust the Pulse width and frequency by yourself
Working time 5-90 minutes, Intensity: 1-80 levels.
Mode and intensity of two channel can be controlled separately.
Came for the review. Subscribing for the Blood In Blood Out reference. Damn, what a great movie!
"When you expect nothing and get everything, that's destiny."
I make obscure references that 1000 people don't get. People like you, my friend, make it all worth it
As to fatigue, the whole purpose of the Electrical Muscle Stimulator (EMS) aspect of the unit is to fatigue the muscles. By making the muscles fatigue, the muscles gets so tired that they poop out, which reduces or eliminate spasms, which can cause severe pain.
Very Beneficial
Thanks
How high of an intensity can you go im usually maxed at physical therapy
thanks for the info..i ll buy it..
friend,do you need the electrodes pads?
just ordered one !!
Have you used it yet?
U can split that wire do it will reach farther
How long it will stay when I use it ? 5 min or less ?
How do you know if you’re in EMS mode or TENS mode?
Hey man, missing the gym gear /underwear/ reviews! Still, Great videos & content.
Hey Andrew, appreciate it man. I got thrown off track with a couple big IT projects. Now I'm having the RUclips equivalent to writers block. I'll be back!!! Thanks for the kind words!
Look pop
I just received mine today, they don’t supply the little container anymore I received a cheap storage bags so I guess I will keep the box to store my unit. I only had the unit the pads and the charger. No little pen either. Oh well I hope it helps my shoulder pain.
Mine looks way different than yours, smaller and it is not touched screen, the buttons are all at different places too …
You're supposed to separate the wires it's meant to split. They come like that for packaging
You know you can pull the wires apart up to the main connector to make them reach
Facing increasing pain and gaining knowledge of just how proper I have fucked myself over the years, I finally just gave in and ordered Belifu 4 Independent Channel TENS EMS Unit, TENS Unit Muscle Stimulator for Pain Relief to try.
I also gave in and duo ordered with it AUVON Rechargeable TENS Unit Muscle Stimulator, 24 Modes 4th Gen. I'll place a book mark and if I don't forget will update.
****Update edit**** Have only used the Auvon one time to make sure it worked and it did but as for the Belifu - I love it! It does help alleviate pain and it really does have enough intensity to depending on pad placement(+padsize used) and the mode make you go "OHHH OHHH OH GOD TOO MUCH"
I can't save the Belifu is better than Auvon(due to only checking if the Auvon worked,Could be just as good or better idk) But I can recommend the Belifu after receiving and using it
You can split the wire by gently pulling it apart.
Just order one
do you need the electrodes pads?
Was always curious about these machines and with the good reviews and the flash deal on Amazon I picked this one up for $28.
I'm here trying to get some tips on how to use device.
Just bought mines for $40 on Amazon I hope it works
Does it ?
You are so nice
Blood in blood out. Haven't watched that in years.
Watched it a few months ago. It holds up :)
crappy product. i never got the manual so don't know what all the icons mean. can't tell between tens or EMS; and didn't get the case. battery dies overnight in off mode. POS.
Dude, the way you shoot yourself down… not good
Unnecessary too long video...
Your comment is unnecessary. You don't have to watch the full video, you can find a part of the video you want to watch and skip to that part of the video. You have options
You talk too much!! I just want to know how to use it, turn it on amd turn it off!! 🤦🏻♂️
these are also good for .....ahem....."other" things lol. hands free things......>=)
Really?!😳🤷♀️😜
