    Great explanation of the Tens Unit that covers Frequency, Pulse and other settings including back pad placement - One of the best How to videos on Tens out There. Thank You

    have been using for years. On my checklist on my daily TENS Unit routine - actually plugging in wires to unit is Last. I attach the electrode pads to wires first. Then place electrodes where I need pain relief. I plug in one side first and turn on and test the placement and strength (The size of pad makes a lot of difference) I want to turn unit on to. Then repeat with other set. Plugging into unit after placing pads and getting wires set to where you need to adjust wires to be able to have unit on while working on my feet. I put the unit in my pants pocket. I always end up adjusting until it is on max. Getting wires through your clothes and then making sure they won't catch on something or get in your way takes some adjustment. If at work when in Lady's Room I can take unit out of pocket unplug wires then when finished plug back in put back in pocket. A small piece of duct tape on edge of pads can keep sticky pads from coming off so easily. Rubbing alcohol clean then dry before attaching pads. I'm a dietician on my feet non-stop and this has made it possible for me to keep working.

    When they do this at physical therapy ice is what works for me for whatever reason. After the session the entire area tingles for a while and that portion of my back feels more solid if that makes sense. Definitely helps but is fleeting.

    Put the cold pack or heat on before you do the settings! I had a PT assistant set the level and then put the weight of the cold pack on and it terribly increased the intensity!

      Yep, putting pressure on the electrodes definitely increases the intensity!

    The owners manual says to discard the electrodes when they are no longer adhering. What is your reasoning to keep them?

    • @my2bears
      @my2bears 4 месяца назад +2

      They stop sticking because the nature oils on our bodies accumulate on the pads. I take the pads off then just rinse them with water, pat dry and they’re back to sticking again.
