Yeeter's loonin good. Now time for a driver mod. The trails behind my house are harder and i've done em in my stock one. Some better tire positioning will make that thing unstoppable. Also your tire pressure looks way high for offroading. Good stuff man. Hope to k-swap one soon.
Hey dk if you remember but I commented a few videos ago about a 99 crv I was having the engine shut off and was going through a bunch of shit trying to fix it because I wasn't getting any codes to go off of, thought I'd give ya an update lol So i ended up doing ignition switch first cause I know that's a problem with these, then I did fuel filter and replaced my starter while I was at it, then I replaced the crank sensor (fuck man that was a bitch, I didn't know you'd have to basically take apart all that shit just to get to it). Well, turned out it was distributor and my main relay lol I knew it could've been those from the start too so I was pretty peeved with myself when I came to the realization that those were the only things I hadn't checked yet lol
This makes me use my rd4 awd manual as a donor for a k swapped rd1 so much more raw! The front suspension on the rd1 is way better and ita got a working ebrake not a parking brake!!!
The area where you are Wheeling looks like a place up in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee where we used to have the Smoky Mountain Cruiser crawl when I was with the Toyota Land Cruiser Association campaigning my 1985 4Runner named FRANKENRUNNER.
i was wondering if you had a open diff or not in the trans but it was kickin butt its lookin good cant wait to get my crv in shape i wish it had a manual but I'm a still have my fun with it
Have you thought about adding material to your front lower control-arms, making them more stout? Also, how's your Rear Locker Assist Device holding up? Maybe it's time for one in the front 😎
It's definitely something I thought about, but at the same time, I'd rather them bend than a mounting point. Rear seems to be doing well. I have one for the front, I will probably put it in when I pull the trans to swap clutch. I'm also going to replace 2nd gear synchro since it locks me out in high rpm
I don't care to have my business in my backyard. It feels like I'm always at work. The shop we're looking at is about 30 min away and in a much busier area. Much more potential to have a lucrative business there.
Hey I have a CR-V rd1 on cold starts it sounds like metal exhaust but it's not for the exhaust it sounds from the distributor it's posible that the distributor makes that sound? 👋🏼👋🏼
Hey there sorry to bother . I have a 2000 honda crv awd manual trans and its giving me a majos issue with 2nd gear. When i out in 2nd gear and i give it gas it pops out of gear and when i let off the throttle it doesnt. All gears work except 2nd when i give it gas. What can this be if you can please help me out?

Sounds like a head gasket. " it over heats when low on coolant " If you let it overheat the blocks warp easy, and will never seal until milled flat. Just a new headgasket may not fix it if it's not straight. Let me repeat, if you overheat your engine you WILL damage it.
@@nobodynoone2500 it’s never fully overheated as in pegged the needle out just rises when low on coolant Iv had that happens few times on previous Hondas never a issue this issue is just weird at ide if low coolant it begins to rise on the gauge after filling up stays solid
I had this issue and ran some sealant in the oil and no more water consumption. Mechanic in a can but at the time did not have the $$ to pull the heads and redo gaskets and warping. My daughter had sat in the car doing homework on a hot day with AC running and overheated EVERYTHING. Transmission was leaking and sealant fixed that issue also.

It's still open diff in the front. At least for now.

Old guy here. But if u can afford a down payment...
Invest in ur self.. put up a bigger shop on ur own land. Don't know if thats a option..

Air down more. Sugar Sand is where I grew up.
yeah, we just came right off the road. I think its around 30 psi in them lol
Agree I've done nutty steep shit, aird down to like 17 psi
@@fununderthesun3209 it needs a lower 1st gear for sure. According to the k series gear charts, it already has the lowest 1st available
Nice, still on stock k24a2 map in the hondata?
I have a base map from my tuner. Still haven't had it tuned though.

rx7s need a k20 turbo in them 👀
Jk, such low miles those will bring good coin on BAT
I sure hope they do

are you referring to the serpentine belt?

Could be a hub/slider / synchro issue
What is that tractors sound it’s making? Is there and exhaust leak?
It has some vibrations at super low rpm with a load on it. Also it has a twin disc clutch currently so it rattles when you press the clutch.
@@hondaresource ahh that makes sense.
Any resources for where we can buy/view your FD’s?
Most likely will be posted to bring a trailer, but you can email me, phillip@thehondaresource.com
Do Honda's have low range transfer cases?
Unfortunately, no. The old school Civic wagon was AWD and had a super low gear though.

I would definitely say head gasket. Hondas rarely mix coolant and oil
