    Here's my Key Takeaway
Cultural Evolution is the idea that the human culture such as beliefs, knowledge, customs. skills, attitudes, and languages change over time.
Stone age is separated into three preiods:
    1. Paleolithic Age (Old Stone Age) - wherein human beings learned to use simple and unpolished tools, discovered the use of fire, learned how to hunt for food, and learned how to survive by living in caves. They also developed small sculptures and monumental paintings, and car designs. Their main focus was to hunt and collect food for living.
(Paleolithic word was coined by John Lubbock in 1865.)
    2. Meleolithic Period (Middle Stone Age) - "mesos" which means middle and "lithos" which means stone. Early humans in this period gradually domesticated plants and animals, they also started to form their own settlements and communities. In this period, they also learned how to use microlits or smaller or delicate stone tools that were used for hunting, fishing and gathering foods. It is also related to European Culture.
    3. Neolithic (New Stone Age) - aka Agricultural Revolution, from the words "neo" which means nee and "lithos" (stone). During this period a wide skill transition were experienced many himan cultures ranging from the different forms of hunting and food gathering to changes in agricultural practices and lifestyles including the types settlements they lived in which eventually lead to a population increase in ancient society.
Different types of tools were developed by using bronze as a second method for architectural implements such as household utensils.
During the Neolithic Period, human beings used polished stone tools and learned to settle in permanent villages.
    Three Stages of Metal Age
    Copper, Bronze and Iron
The first civilization were found mostly in Asia particularly in China and Mesopotamia which is now known as Iraq.
    Six Types of Human Societies:
    1. Hunting and Gathering - people survive by planting vegetables and fruits, fishing, hunting larger animals and collecting shellfish. Human in this period uses tools made of wood, stones and bones.
    2. Horticultural - People learned to use human-labor and hand-held tools to cultivate fields.
    3. Pastoral - Human being learned on herding and domestification of animals for food and clothing organized male-centered leadership showed its first clear beginnings in this society.
    4. Agricultural - characterized by the use of plow and other planting materials.
5-6 Industrial and Post-Industrial - what we experiences.

From this video lesson, this enlightens my knowledge about Cultural Evolution. Stated that Cultural Evolution is the idea that the human culture such as beliefs, knowledge, customs, skills, attitude and languages changes overtime. And it is categorized into archeological periods which are Stone age and Metal age.
In the stone age, humans used to be primitive or use primitive stone tools.
《Stone age is divided into 3 periods:
●Paleolithic Age (old stone age) where human beings learned how to use simple and unpolished stone tools, discovered how to use fire, learned how to hunt food and learned how to survive life in their caves.
●Mesolithic Age (Middle stone age) early humans in this period gradually domesticated plants and animals and formed their own settlements and communities. Also they learned how to use microlits or the smaller or delicate stone tools that were use for used for hunting, fishing and gathering foods
●Neolithic period (New stone age or Agricultural Revolution) During this period a wide skill transition were experienced many human cultures ranging from the different forms of hunting and food gathering to changes in Agricultural practices and lifestyle including the types of settlements they lived in which eventually lead to a population increase in ancient society.
《Metal age is the use of metals such as bronze, copper and iron to produce a new historical development that started in the metal age.

In this lesson, I learned Human Cultural Evolution.
The Stone Age is divided into 3 separate periods. The first Stone Age Period is known as
    • Paleolithic Age or Old Stone reffered to athe old stone age, in this period human beings learned how to use simple and unpolished stone tools, discovered the use of fire, learned how to hunt for food and learn how to survive by living in caves. They also developed small sculptures and monumental paintings, carved designs, and reliefs on the walls of caves. Their main focus was to hunt and collect food which reflected their nomadic way of living.
~ The word Paleolithic was coined by John Lubbock in 1865.
•The second period of the stone is the Mesolithic Period ir the Middle Stone Age it was considered as the transition period between the paleolithic and neolithic periods. Early humans during this period gradually domesticated plants and animals. They also started to form their own settlements and communities. In this period they also learned how to use micro lits for smaller and more delicate stone tools that were used for hunting, fishing, and gathering food The primary activities of the early humans.
~The word Mesolithic id derived from the Greek words mesos which means middle and lethal refers to stone that collectively means middle stone age.
•The final Period of the stone age is known as the neolithic period new stone age or the agricultural revolution. During this period, a wide-scale transition was experienced by many human cultures ranging from the different forms of hunting and food gathering to changes in agricultural practices and lifestyles that included the types of settlements they lived in which eventually led to a population increase in the ancient societie.
~The word neolithic was derived from the ancient Greek words. Neos which means new and lithus which means stone.

In this video lesson, I learned about the human cultural evolution. Some archeologists believe that the earth's beginnings can be traced way back to 4.5 billion years but human evolution only counts for a tiny spike of its history. It is believed that it was then when a cultural evolution occurred. Cultural evolution is the idea that the human culture such as beliefs , knowledge, customs, skills, attitudes and languages change over time.
Dating wayback to the period from about 2.5 million years ago to 1200 BCE. It is generally categorized in to archeological period refer to us the stone age and metal age. The cultural revolution of humans can be traced back to the beginning of the stone age. During this age, humans used to be primitive or use primitive stone tools.
The stone age was divided in to 3 separate periods.
✓The first stone period is also known as the Paleolithic age. Otherwise, refers to as old stone age . In this period, human beings learned how to use simple and unpolished stone tools, discovered the use of fire, learned how to hunt for food and learned how to survive by living in caves. They also developed small sculptures and monumental paintings, carved designs and reliefs on the walls of caves. Their main focus is to hunt and to collect food which reflected to their nomadic way of living. The word Paleolithic was coined by John Lubbock in 1865.
✓ The second phase or period of the stone age was Mesolithic period oe the middle stone age. It was considered as the transition period between the Paleolithic and neolithic periods. The word mesolithic is derived from.thw greek words "mesos" which means middle ang "lethal" refers to stone that collectively means middle stone age. Early humans during this period gradually domisticated plants and animals. They also started to form their own settlements and communities. In this period they also learned how to use micro lits for smaller and more delicate syone tools that were used for hunting, fishing and gathering food are the primary activities of early humans. Mesolithic period is related to European culture.
✓ The final period of the stone age is known as the neolithic period, new stone age or the agricultural revolution. The word neolithic was derived from the ancient greek words "neos" which means new and "lithus" means stone. During this period, a wide scale transition was experienced by many human culture ranging from the different hunting food and food gathering to changes into agricultural practices and lifestyles that included the types of settlements they lived in which eventually led to a population increase in the ancient societies. Different types of tools were developed by using bronze as the second metal for agricultural implements such as plows and sickles, and military weapons like swords, spears, shields as well as household untesils like jars, balls and cups. During neolithic period, humans beings used polish stone tools and learned how to settle in permanent villages.
Three stages distinguished in this age of metal used:
    - copper age
Known for its stiffness, the materials that were used in using ornaments.
    - bronze age
A combination of copper and tin which is harder and stronger than copper.
    - iron age
Some of the agricultural tools were plows and sickles and military weapons like swords, spears and shield.
    Types of human societies:
    - hunting and gathering societies
    - horticultural socities
    - pastoral socities
    - industrial societies
    - postindustrial socities

Cultural evolution, as stated in this episode, is the theory that human culture, including ideas, knowledge, practices, skills, attitudes, and languages, evolves over time. The Stone Age and the Mental Age are the Archaeological Periods, according to this video. The beginning of human cultural evolution can be traced back to the stone era, when humans were primitive or employed basic stone tools.
    There are three distinct times in this;
    - Paleolithic Age (old stone age) -Where human beings learned how to use simple and unpolished stone tools, discovered how to use fire, learned how to hunt for food, and learned how to survive by living in cave.
    - Mesolithic Age (Middle Stone Age)- The term Mesolithic is derived from the Greek words "mesos" (middle) and "lithos" (stone). Early people gradually domesticated plants and animals throughout this time and established their own settlements and societies. They also learned how to utilize microlits, which are smaller or more delicate stone tools used for hunting, fishing, and food collection.
    - Neolithic Period (New Stone Age or Agricultural Revolution)- Many human cultures experienced a wide skill transition during this time, ranging from various forms of hunting and food gathering to changes in agricultural practices and lifestyle, as well as the types of settlements they lived in, which eventually led to an increase in population in ancient society.
Metal Age is the use of metals such as bronze, copper and iron produce a new historical development that is started in metal age. Copper Age, Bronze Age, and Iron Age are the three stages of the Metal Age.
There are six types of human societies:
    1. Hunting and Gathering Societies

    KEY TAKEAWAYS
●Cultural evolution is the concept that human culture, such as beliefs, knowledge, and customs, evolves. Over time, skills, attitudes, and languages change.
●Where the cultural evolution can be traced back to the beginning of the stone age, humans were primitive or used primitive stone tools during this time period. The Paleolithic Age, Mesolithic Age, and Neolithic Age were the three periods of the Stone Age.
●Paleolithic Age (Old Stone Age)- Human beings learned how to use simple and unpolished stone tools, discovered the use of fire, learned how to hunt for food, and learned how to survive by living in caves. Their main focus was to hunt and collect food. The word Paleolithic was coined by John Lubbock in 1865.
●Mesolithic Age (Middle Stone Age)- The word Mesolithic is derived from the Greek word "mesos" which means middle and "lithos" which means stone. During this period, early humans graduallydomesticated plants and animals and formed their own settlements and communities. They also learned how to use microlits or smaller or delicate stone tools that were used for hunting, fishing and gathering foods.
●Neolithic Age (New Stone Age or Agricultural Revolution)- The word Neolithic is derived from the Greek word "neo" which means new and "lithos" which means stone. During this period a wide skill transition were experiencedmany himancultures ranging from the different forms of hunting and food gathering to changes in agricultural practices and lifestyles including the types settlements they lived in which eventually lead to a population increase in ancient society.
●Metal Age is the use of metals such as bronze, copper and iron produce a new historical development that is started in metal age. The 3 stages of Metal Age are: Copper Age, Bronze Age, and the Iron Age.

In this video lesson I have learned about the significance of cultural, social, political and economic symbols and practices and how the cultural evolution occurred. Cultural evolution of early humans can be traced back to the beginning of stone age. During this age, humans used to be primitive or used primitive stone tools. Stone age is divided into three separate periods. (1) Paleolithic age, referred to as the old stone age. In this period, human beings learned how to use simple and unpolished stone that help them discover the use of fire, learned how to hunt for food, and survive by living in cages. The word paleolithic was coined by John Lubbock in 1865. (2) Mesolithic Period, considered as the transition period between the paleolithic and neolithic periods, and in this period, humans started to form their own settlements and communities. The primary activities of the early humans. (3) Neolithic Period, the new stone age and the agricultural revolution. In this period happens a wide transition, from hunting for food to changes in agricultural practices and lifestyles. During the period humans learned about polish stone tools and to settle in permanent villages.
The use of copper, bronze and iron was discovered in metal ages that produces a new development during the metal age. The three stages in this period are the copper period, the first known metal, the bronze age, combination of copper and tin and the iron age.
The first civilizations were found in Asia, particularly in China and Iraq. That is where human societies evolve.
The 6 types of Human Societies
    1. Hunting and Gathering Societies
    2. Horticultural Societies
    3. Pastoral Societies
    4. Agricultural Societies
    5. Industrial Societies
    6. Postindustrial Societies

From this video lesson, I learned more about the human cultural evolution. Some archaeologists believe that the earth's beginnings can be traced way back to 4.5 billion years but human evolution only counts for a tiny spike of its history. Cultural evolution is the idea that the human culture such as beliefs, knowledge, customs, skills, attitudes and languages change over time.
Dating wayback to the period from about 2.5 million years ago to 1200 BCE. It is generally categorized into archaeological period refer to the stone age and metal age. The cultural revolution of humans can be traced back to the beginning of the stone age. During this age, humans used to be primitive or use primitive srone tools.
3 Separate Periods of the Stone Age
*The first stone age period is known as the Paleolithic Age. Otherwise, refers to as Old Stone Age. Human beings learned how to use simple and unpolished stone tools, discovered the use of fire, learned how to hunt for food and learned how to survive by living in caves. They also developed small sculptures and monumental paintings, carved designs and reliefs on the walls of caves. Their main focus was to hunt and to collect food which reglected to their nomadic wa of living. The word Paleolithic was covered by the archaeologist John Lubbock in the year 1865.
*The second phase or period of the stone age was Mesolithic Period or the Middle Stone Age. It was considered as the transition period between the Paleolithic and Neolithic periods. The word Mesolithic is derived from "mesos" which means middle and "lithos" refers to stone that collectively means middle stone age. In this period, they also learned how to use micro lits for smaller and mire delicate tools that were used for hunting, fishing and gathering food, which are the primary activities of early humans. Mesolithic Period is related to European culture.
*The final period of the stone age is known as the Neolithic Period, new stone age or the agricultural revolution. The word Neolithic was derived from the ancient Greek words "neos" which means new and "lithus" means stone. During this period, different types of tools were developed by using bronze as the second meta for agricultural implements such as plows, and sickles, and military weapons like swords, spears, shields as well as household utensils like jars, balls and cups. During Neolithic period, human beings used polish stone tools and learned how to settle in permanent villages.
Three stages distinguished in Metal age due to different types of metals that are used:
    1. Copper Age
    2. Bronze Age
    3. Iron Age
    6 Types of Human Societies:
    1. Hunting and Gathering Societies
    2. Horticultural Societies
    3. Pastoral Societies
    4. Agricultural Societies
    5. Industrial Societies
    6. Post-Industrial Societies

The next is Mesolithic. It refers to the second phase or the period of the stone age. It derives from the Greek work mess which means middle and lichos which means stone. They domesticated plants and animals. Last but bot the least is Neolithic Age. it comes from the Greek word neos which means new and lichos which means new.
On the other hand, Metal age is the use of metals such as bronze, copper, and iron produce a new historical development that is started in the metal age.
Its three stages are Copper Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age .
