I am so proud of our culture! Here are my key takeaways in this video: -Culture is shared, gratifying and idealistic, continuous and cumulative, transmitted, and learned. It is amazing to see the eagerness and willingness of our fellow Filipinos as they proudly showcase their skills and talents and how they give importance to their customs, traditions and beliefs to preserve them in the midst of differences and modernization. -Culture is complex and related to society. -According to Edward Burnett Tylor, culture is the complex whole that includes a person's beliefs, practices, values, attitudes, laws, norms, artifacts, symbols, and knowledge as a member of society. -Beliefs and values are two aspects of culture. Beliefs are the concepts that people accept as true about how the world works and where individuals fit in it, while values are general and shared perceptions of what is good, right, appropriate, worthwhile, and what concerns the state of existence, such as freedom of choice or equal opportunity. Elements that constitute the Filipino value system: -value -manners -inner value Recto, Kristine Marie D. March 02, 2022 G-12 Newton Pinamukan Integrated School
From this video lesson, I learned and understand that there are some characteristics of culture such as culture is shared, culture is social, culture is gratifying and idealistic, culture is continous and cumulative, culture is transmitted, and culture is learned. Culture is complex and related to society. It is a product of society and yet, culture and society exists independently on each other. A society without culture is like a human without a soul. Also, culture and society need each other so they can develop and prosper. The aspects of culture as a complex whole are beliefs and values. The elements that constitute the Filipino value system are: -Halaga (Value) The 3 Dimensions are: 1. Pagkatao (Self-worth) 2. Pakikipagkapuwa-tao (Dignified Relationship with others) 3. Pagkamaka-tao (Compassion) -Asal (Manners) The 3 Standards are: 1. Kapuwa (relational) 2. Damdamin (emotional) 3. Dangal (honor) -Diwa (Inner Value) Because of this, we should take pride in our culture and in our Filipino values. Let us teach people around us that they are Filipinos and they should be proud of it. Del Prado, Kirlsheiy M. February 23, 2022 G-11 Fleming Pinamukan Integrated School
I learned about several facets of culture and society in this episode. Culture is shared when people demonstrate their readiness and willingness to share their skills and talents, how they value their costumes, customs, and beliefs, and how they preserve them despite differences and modernization. Because culture is the result of human activity and society, it is social. It develops as a result of social interaction and participation. We can say that if someone is sincerely preserving their ideas and traditions, culture is identifying and idealistic. Culture is a never-ending and cumulative process. Despite the fact that most people are undergoing numerous societal changes and modernity, they are nevertheless able to adapt to their surroundings while maintaining their traditions. Culture is passed down through our society's members. Elders, parents, teachers, and others pass down their cultural practices. Because language is the primary vehicle of culture, it allows them to happen. Imitation and instruction can also be used to spread it. It is possible to learn about culture. Culture distinguishes itself from society by the way people carry out their traditions, practices, and rituals. Culture is intricate and intricately linked to society. Culture, according to Edward Burnett Taylor, is a complex whole that comprises knowledge, art, belief, law, morals, custom, and any other abilities and habits that a person acquires as a part of society. I learn that there culture is still alive and they show how there culture is really was if even new technologies cames up but they still use the old fashion way its very helpful to me us studying USCP subject thanks to Mam Dawn.
In this video, I learned and understood about the cultural and social aspect. Culture is a way of life of a group of people-the behaviors, beliefs, values, and symbols they embrace, generally without thinking about them. , and that is passed on through communication and imitation from one generation to the next. So there are some characteristics like culture is sharing, social, gratifying and idealistic, continuous and cumulative, culture is transmitted and also learned.Based on what I see on the videos show are the different ways of how our fellow filipino brothers and sisters perform their traditions practices and their rituals which means that culture has varies from society to society. And as I know learned that culture is complex and it is very much related to society.Culture us a product of society and that society is composed of the small groups and yet this two culture and society exist independently on each other.Society without culture is like a body without soul.So culture and society is need each other so they can develop and prosper. So now there are many elements that constitute the filipino value system it is Value (value), Asal (manners) and Spirit. Actually as a Filipino we know the elements and dimensions of them and really until now we always practice it and shown to our fellow human beings. Culture and society are really very important, especially to us, as a reason to show and be proud in other countries. And this is also one for us to call I am a proud of being Filipino. Culture is a product of behavior and society is formed via social contact, I discovered that culture is social. In today's world, where technology is so prevalent, I discovered that different cultures exist, and if they retain their ideas and traditions, they will become permanent, and many people will find it more intriguing. I discovered that culture may be passed down from one person to another through imitation and instructions. I also learnt that while culture and society exist independently of one another, culture need a society in order to survive and flourish, since a society without culture is akin to a body without a soul. Many of our views and ideals are worth cherishing, appreciating, and valuing. Even though we hold different beliefs and values, I believe that if we learn to respect one another's opinions and beliefs, we can create a better world. Vino, Jodelle Yessiah B. It is because of the reason that culture is transmitted and shared from one generation to another. And for it to be developed, it needs human interaction. In this modern world where technology is very popular, I realized that different culture remains if they are maintaining their beliefs and practices this will become permanent, and probably many people will find it more interesting. I learned that culture is transferred from one person to another it can transmit through imitation and instruction. I also learned that culture and society exist independently of each other, for culture to exist and develop its needs a society because a society without culture is like a body without a soul. There are many different aspects to culture. Culture is shared, social, gratifying, and idealistic, it is continuous and cumulative. Culture is also transferred, learned, diverse and it is complex and tied to society. According to Edward Burnett Tylor, culture is the complex whole that includes a person's beliefs, practices, values, attitudes, laws, norms, artifacts, symbols, and knowledge as a member of society. Culture is the product of society, which is made up of small groups. Human interaction is required for these two to exist independently of one another, for culture to exist and grow. A society devoid of culture is like to a body devoid of soul. Beliefs and values are the two elements that make up culture as a whole. Beliefs are the concepts that people accept as true about how the world operates and how individuals fit into it. Values are people's broad and common judgments of what is good, right, proper, and worthwhile in life, and what concerns the state of existence, such as freedom of choice or equal opportunity. I learned in this video about Culture consists of the beliefs, behaviors, objects, and other characteristics common to the members of a particular group or society. Through culture, people and groups define themselves, conform to society's shared values, and contribute to society. Thus, culture includes many societal aspects: language, customs, values, norms, mores, rules, tools, technologies, products, organizations, and institutions. This latter term institution refers to clusters of rules and cultural meanings associated with specific social activities. Common institutions are the family, education, religion, work, and health care. Culture and society are intricately related. A culture consists of the “objects” of a society, whereas a society consists of the people who share a common culture. When the terms culture and society first acquired their current meanings, most people in the world worked and lived in small groups in the same locale. I’ve perceived that culture has its own characteristics as well such as culture is social because it is the product of behavior and society, it is cultivated through social interaction and participation, culture is continuous and cumulative, this particular family or tribe is experiencing various societal changes and modernization yet they are still able to adapt to their society while preserving their tradition and culture is transmitted among our members of society cultural ways are handed down from elders, parents teachers and others by language because it is the main vehicle of culture, it can also be transmitted through imitation and instruction. Furthermore, culture is a product of society where society is composed of small groups and yet these two culture and society exist independently on each other culture just like every person in society is susceptible to change or society is not constant its member changes from time to time as a result, culture changes a lot new trends in the environment exists and modern technologies are invented an advancement of interactions have need created people evolve over time as a result of their exposure to renewed or changed laws values and standards of society that is why culture and society are two closely related concepts. I do believe that Culture is a communication and communication is a culture. We're all aware that different societies have different cultures, it refers to the cumulative deposit of knowledge, experience, beliefs, values, attitudes, meanings, hierarchies, religion, acquired by a group of people in the course of generations through individual and group striving. While the society represents the people who share those beliefs and practices. It's amazing how our culture stays alive and continuous at this moment and how society embraces it. The differences of different cultures in different society doesn't make any boundaries, it makes the bond stronger. Gutierrez, Cyean Korei C. G11 STEM EINSTEIN PINAMUKAN INTEGRATED SCHOOL 02/23/22

Culture is complex and related to society. It is a product of society and yet, culture and society exists independently on each other. A society without culture is like a human without a soul. Also, culture and society need each other so they can develop and prosper.

I've learned that culture is like a tattoo to one's life. Cerbacio Bagat Jr.have stated that even though technology is continuously improving, their culture is still there and alive. It is because of the reason that culture is transmitted and shared from one generation to another. And for it to be developed, it needs human interaction. That's why, culture and society are correlated because a society without culture is like a soulless human. It is amazing how people managed to maintain their tradition and lifestyle despite the modernization. Watching this video made me realize that culture and society really have a great impact and influence to one's beliefs, perspective, and identity.

I learned that culture is social because it is a product of behavior and society if it is cultivated through social interaction. In conclusion, we do have many beliefs and values that we should treasure, appreciate and give value. Even we have different beliefs and values I believe that we can make a better world if we know how to respect different opinions and beliefs.

Learning is fun. Thank you teacher Dawn!
Glad you think so!
In this episode, I learned another lesson on how culture is enjoyable.
It is complicated and tied to society, as well as idealistic, continuous, and cumulative. I also mentioned that culture requires human connection to develop. In the film, it is also claimed that a civilization without culture is like to an individual without a soul. There are other three components that make up the Filipino Value System: Halaga, Asal, and Diwa.

what I learned in this video is that there is a need for celebration only for what their ancestors taught and we need to respect their beliefs.
Thank you, Deped TV. Very informative! Looking foward for the Ep 5.
In this video lesson, it help me deepen my understanding about culture. It made me realize how important the culture in society is. a reflection of a community or nation. This makes culture a vital and important determining factor of how the community reacts, responds, and grows. Culture plays a major role in the lives of everyone in the society. Culture gives you a sense of belonging, especially when everyone speaks the same language.

Through culture, people and groups define themselves, conform to society's shared values, and contribute to society. Thus, culture includes many societal aspects: language, customs, values, norms, mores, rules, tools, technologies, products, organizations, and institutions.

- Culture just like every person while society is susceptible to change or death
- Culture and Society are two closely related concepts for culture to exist and to be developed it needs human interaction a society without culture is like a body without soul. Culture and Society need each other so they can both develop and prosper.

I've learned about culture and traditional doings of some tribe like ifugao's tribe they are still doing their rituals. The Ifugao people have an indigenous religion. They believe in the existence of thousands of gods.
I've learned that the Ifugaos have embraced Christianity but their animist beliefs have been absorbed into their Christian beliefs. The Ifugao have traditionally believed their lives were ruled by spirits called anitos. Many Ifugao still believe the universe was divided into five levels.

I Learned Culture is everything made, learned, or shared by the members of a society, including values, beliefs, behaviors, and material objects. ... We begin learning our culture from the moment we're born, as the people who raise us encourage certain behaviors and teach their version of right and wrong.
KEY TAKEAWAYS:
In this video, I've learned about the concepts of culture and society.
CHARACTERISTICS OF CULTURE
Culture is shared, social, gratifying and idealistic, vontinuous and cumulative, transmitted, learned and has variety. Culture is complex and related to society.
Edward B. Tylor defined culture as the complex whole which included knowledge, art, belief, law, morals, custom, and anyother capabilities and habits acquired by man as a member of society
Culture is a product of society, and society is composed of small groups. Culture and society are two closely related concepts. For culture to exist and to be developed, it needs human to interaction. A society without culture ia like a body without soul. Culture and society need each other to develop and prosper.
The aspects of culture as a complex are beliefs and values.
BELIEFS - the concepts that people accept as true about how the world operates and where individuals fit in it.
VALUES - the general and shared perceptions of what is good, right, appropriate, worthwhile and what concerns the state of exiatence, like freedom of choice and equal opportunity
ELEMENTS THAT CONSTITUTE THE FILIPINO VALUES SYSTEM
1. Halaga (Value) - which means one's value or worth. It is the evaluate of the Filipino values system that Filipinos find to be the most virtous. This aspect has three dimensions, they are:
• Pagkatao (Self-worth)
• Pakikipagkapuwa tao (Dignified relationship with others)
• Pagkamaka-tao (Compassion)
2. Asal (Manners) - the expression of the evaluative aspect of the Filipino values system. It is the constituted of these standards:
• Kapuwa (Relational)
• Damdamin (Emotional)
• Dangal (Honor)
3. Diwa (Inner Value) - which instance is intertwined reason and emotion

I’ve learned in this educational video is that a lot of traditions and cultures of people are not seen by some festivals. But I’m glad that they’re comfortable to share their culture and beliefs to us. I love the part that they share their knowledge and what they adapt in their ancestors. This educational video give us knowledge about the culture of some ethnics/groups that we’ve never seen before. I also learned about the cycle of culture, society and environment, that these three will always have part in our lives.
Thank you its very informative
Thank you din, please share the channel with your friends.

Ive learned this video about culture and society that how people live through this world and survival techniques
❤️❤️❤️
The content is indeed informative and well-intentioned, but it tends to over-focus with examples, making it appear somewhat didactic. Additionally, I suggest to cut down on filler content and get straight to the key concepts without lengthy introductions for students to quickly grasp on the topic.

Among us
I do believe that Culture is a communication and communication is a culture.
