I am proud of myself today for being productive all day long. I got to spend some quality time with a friend of mine in the morning, then I went to pick up my two new converses, which I am really happy about. Then I got back home and did some cleaning and laundry. I also cut my hair myself and took care of my overall appearance. So all in all, it was a nice productive day. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. This is really helpful. God bless!

First of all, I am so very sorry for your loss. Second, thank you for this video. I tried to start sertraline about a month ago. I was EXTREMELY anxious about taking it and started panicking before I even swallowed the pill. NEEDLESS to say…I sent MYSELF into about an 8-10 hour long panic attack. I did end up taking .5mg lorazepam to calm down a little bit. I was NOT able to force myself to take anymore, even though I knew WITHOUT a doubt that I had done that MOSTLY to myself. But I know I really really need it. So I am going to start with half the dose of what I took before and work up slowly. I’m still nervous, though. My health anxiety is really bad (mainly heart) b/c my dad had his first heart attack at 46 and passed away of a 2nd one at age 57. I am 50 now and those heart anxiety thoughts are WEARING ME OUT. They are literally constant.

Hi Tina, thank you for sharing. Anxiety over health is draining, a spiral that never ends! I understand where you are coming from, my dad was also 57 when he passed. I hope that you can find some relief or improvement in the future through medication if you do end up trying it again. I’m wondering if therapy could help you at all. Let me know if I can provide any resources.
      Meg

Hi all, great video. I am on 200 mg Sertraline per day over the last 12 years. I am fine, I work, I sport and raised 2 boys. It is different for everyone I think. Don't forget though that it takes up to 4-5 weeks for the medication to settle. It's a long term medication. 1 tablet won't change anything. Even if I missed a dose it doesn't have any effect. It's not like a sleeping tablet or valium, these tablets take immediate effect.

But now I think I pushed all the way in and I like crossed a a bridge that I can’t go back to my normal anxiety

I've been taking sertraline just over a week, and the insomnia has been _crRRraAaaAzzzzZZyyYyy_ !! It'll be very different for everyone though. Fortunately I'm signed off work atm otherwise it would've been impossible, but I really need to look into sleeping pills because I'm so exhausted now from not being able to shut down.
I haven't had any other side effects so far apart from feeling nauseous most of the time, and very numb/groggy but tbh I've always felt a bit like that with depression.

I started taking zozloft 25 mg before 13 days , yesterday i increased the dosage to 50 mg based to my doctor prescribed which it will be my daily dose ( 50 mg ).
Tell you the truth the first 13 days with 25 mg was exhausting and anxiety and panic attack hit me so hard for the 1st time in my life.
But after i took 50mg its even harder and i woke up today so dizzy its like the room is spinning .
I hope this all just because i increased my dosage and all sidr effects will be gone withing days otherwise it's disaster to stay like this all day .
