I’ve dealt with a lot of symptoms. Headaches, body aches, dizziness, dysphasia, derealisation/depersonalisation, fatigue, insomnia, heart palpitations, racing heartbeat, chest tightness/crushing, chest pains, stomach pains, bloating, acid reflux, severe shaking and twitching, rls, digestive issues, stuffy nose, brain fog, weakness, dry mouth, globus sensation/feeling like I’m choking, extreme yawning, random tingling/numb/burning/shooting sensations, facial flushing, cold hands and feet, confusion, impending feelings of doom, hypochondria, tinnitus, urges to pee, blurry vision, clenching teeth and persistent low moods and low self esteem. It’s a fucking nightmare.

I just woke up from a deep sleep and I was so nauseous and felt numbness and hot all over…The nausea was overwhelming and I went to the bathroom, then I started the routine of cleaning myself and brushing my teeth in case I call 911 and have to go to the hospital . I got dressed and gradually the nausea subsided but this was the first time it was so intense. This horrible feeling lasted over 20 minutes and I still have some residual chest discomfort that comes and goes, maybe from gas and burping??? Again wondering if I should call 911… I had numerous heart tests done and my cardiologist said I’m ok , but still that fear creeps in…. I am widowed and live alone so it’s terrifying … I just keep praying

Hello Melissa, I just watched this video and I am truly grateful for the information you provided. I must have watched over 20 other videos on this subject today and yours was the only one that really explained the "whys" of the symptoms. I am a 55 year old male and haven't had a full blown anxiety attack since my mid twenties ... which lasted for several months. Unfortunately, my financial responsibilities and my responsibilities as my elderly mother's caregiver have been mounting things came to a head this past Thursday and I am now once again experiencing a full blown attack after all these years. This attack is much, much stronger and debilitating than when I was younger. I'm feeling almost every single symptom you've described in this video and have been bed bound for 2 days now because of extreme fatigue, lack of balance and dizziness. I have a Telemedicine appointment with my General Provider tomorrow in hopes that he prescribe something to allow me to function so that I won't lose my full time job or neglect my caregiver duties while this passes. Anyway, I sincerely thank you for helping me understand what is happening to me. May God bless you.

Hello Karim, thank you for asking. Yes, I am much better now. I was able to muster up enough energy to go back to work after taking a week and a half off. My doctor said it wasn't exactly an "anxiety attack " because those only last for a matter of minutes. She said it was more of a stress overload episode which carries much of the same symptoms but could last anywhere from days to months if not managed. Simply put, I just have too much on my plate. Unfortunately, all of my problems and responsibilities aren't just going to disappear so I have to be careful to not dwell on them too much ... easier said than done. But like I said, I am much better and I owe it all to my faith in Jesus. Again, I want to thank you for reaching out to a total stranger and asking about my well being. May God bless you and yours!

Ashley, How are you now? Consulted a physician? In life there are only 2 problems-mind and the body. To feel better reduce negative thoughts [overthinking]. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives good relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Do the practice without any expectations when taking a walk, before sleep, in school, at work, when reading, etc. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a better life. Reduce negative social media, take morning sunlight walks and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes--Counsellor.

Read more about relationship between thoughts and the mind on google. . Since many years I have made it a habit to observe my breath sensations even during my normal activities and I am feeling relaxed and healthy. Anywhere-anytime it can be done. The best part is nobody comes to know that you are doing the breath observing practice as there is no deep breathing or sound. Normal life is not affected. Read my msg and do the practice regularly. Best wishes. Sr. Counsellor.

I have been ill recently with a heart problem and as a result been having anxiety and panic attacks. You think now every little twinge or pain is a heart attack about to happen and this is it. It's very difficult to bring yourself down once it has started and found a lot of people are unfortunately very unsympathetic and it's "oh just do some deep breathing exercises etc...." it's like you lose control of your body.

I sent this to my son cause he has been going through severe anxiety to where he has to go to the hospital just to feel okay. 🥺 I can't wait to see your other videos to see if they can help.

Veery useful video.

I suffer from schizoaffective disorder which can cause severe anxiety. I am on ipratopiym/albuterol makes me more anxious than I usually am. Sometimes it’s paralyzing. But, sometimes I need to move around. I start to pace the floor and get criticized for it. That makes me angry. Because, I feel less than other people. I get all of the symptoms. Now, I take care of myself and try to do my exercise when I am not anxious. When I am yelled at for what I am. I I freeze. I have been in the hospital for chest pain and even fainting. Having schizoaffective disorder stinks. I also have problems following instructions and and cognitive problems which causes me problems. Because, other people don’t understand why I do this. They don’t understand. I can get shaky and sweat. 😢

    • @shweetiepetina1563

Lots of complex changes in 50 year olds. Losing parents, menopause in women, “Manapause” in men supposedly is a thing as well, huge hormone fluctuations, kids leaving (or staying) empty nest syndrome which cause change in marital patterns and we won’t mention health challenges. You are not alone. We are tired!! Through all of that, you are here typing. You are doing it none the less. You are amazing and will figure it out to feel better soon. I started walking in the woods and making sure I got my hydration. Things started to improve and I folded in more helpful easy things. Low hanging fruit as they say. Then start chipping away at the other things. Just not too much at once. You will get through this. Hang in there.

I have been getting hot flushes and honestly thought I was going through early menopause at 34. I have had severe chest pains and ended up in A&E. I have been forgetting so such my husband always says to me that I have Alzheimers. I have been having issues with my bladder and just started medication for an overactive bladder. I really struggle with sleep, getting to sleep and staying asleep. I am so tiered and fatigued all the time. I feel like I function really well. I don’t miss a day of work, I keep on top of my home, I’m a great mother and wife and I experience joy and not low in mood but can be quick to cry. on the outside people wouldn’t know that I’m struggling with any of the above. I experienced most of these except diarrhea since I am always constipated. I remember I experienced stomach pain for a YEAR. Like my lower right side of my abdomen hurts EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR A YEAR. And sometimes it's so severe that I can't sit up straight and all I want is to stand up or lay on my bed. I even went to a lot of doctors for checkup and lab test, I was even asked for whole abdomen ultrasound, kidney ultrasound, CT Scan and luckily my test results were normal. I didn't even know that it was due to anxiety coz all of the doctors I went to didn't asked me to go seek for a therapist that's why I was clueless in my suffering. What I did in order to conquer this dilemma was I resigned from my job and went abroad and VIOLAAAAAA it was gone in just a nick of time 😭❤ I'm happy that I did what my heart feels right. After a year (it was 2020) I decided to go back home because of pandemic. I experienced some symptoms of anxiety again like chest pain, throat tightness, palpitations, nightmares, feeling at edge etc. because of COVID 19. It got worst around 2022 when I experienced dizziness for more than a month. I thought it was related with my blood, but when they took my blood test it was normal. Everything was normal, then I searched the internet and discovered that it was ANXIETY once again 😭 it's so severe that sometimes my head feels heavy that I couldn't lift it up. I can't eat well because of dizziness. Sometimes when I stand up I black out for a second. I couldn't walk properly coz I feel I might fall. I felt so hopeless at that time since it's been forever. But fortunately I regain myself back when I started socializing more. I went outside more often with my friends and did fun things together and talked about our lives. Now, my anxiety is still here but I'm grateful it's not that severe like before, but I'm hoping that it won't comeback coz I am sooo effin DONE being in that state.
    Edit:
I am watching this video right now coz I am experiencing some chest pain, throat tightness, shortness of breath and nausea just because of DUST 😭 I cleaned my room just a while ago and my head is filled with thought of "does these dusts will cause me dust allergies?" but in reality it caused me an ANXIETY ATTACK 😭 In order to stay sane I checked yt to confirm my hunch. After watching this I am gaining myself back. ANXIETY SUCKS!

Anyone deal with pressure beneath their ears right sort of right at the top of their jaw? It moves into my neck, head and face. It is so weird. Usually doesn’t happen very much when I don’t think about it though.

Adrenal weakness can cause anxiety or panic. Typically brought on by low blood sugar sometimes which goes hand-in-hand with That scenario it's not low enough adrenaline response to be addresses disease but it's still weak enough that causes lots of unbearable symptoms. In the early stages of my encounter I would drink every single night to cope with it. Until my liver started getting weak and then the symptoms manifested worse than I realized I just need to do eliminate things in my life that caused unnecessary stress including toxic people toxic diet. You gotta look out for number one when you get to that level your body is weak and it's trying to tell you to slow down.

In regards to the chest pains, I've always wondered that even if they're due to anxiety, WHY are they still located more so to the left side of the chest? Perhaps it's the pain manifesting itself to the side that you associate with heart-related issues?

You are correct, I have this same problem as you, I always thought I was having some sort of heart issues because when anxiety hit my chest tightness or heaviness is usually more to the left side of the chest, try and splash cold water on your face when you start to feel these symptoms comming on this might help to reduce these symptoms
