Had to hear this. 2 months of headaches and dizziness and today I got really bad pins and needles in my feet and arms so here I'm thinking something is bad. Just scheduled an MRI for next week(have done MRI last May)😢😢😢 I can't live like this
My mri showed cervical hernias , facet arthritis and for 4 years I was wrestling with that even got a surgery I never needed (paid $50k), all to know , it is all ANXIETY.
Yes, Dennis himself encompasses the teachings of his mentors and a couple of times mentioned Dr. John Sarno who coined the term TMS for Mind Body Symptoms. People who had MRIs showing physical abnormalities had no pain or symptoms at all. Once you address the emotions, the past, etc. by doing Dennis' program, the symptoms just fade.
Dennis thank you. I am beginning to understand my limits when I pass my threshold of fatigue and overwhelm. Slowing down physically and the mind. Your skillsets help me a lot.
Because I am so fearful of the anxiety itself I avoid experiencing it at all costs. I have found that as I continue doing this the anxiety and associated symptoms is getting worse and my world continues to get smaller. I realize now that I have to bring the anxiety in and start becoming dispassionately aware of it as much as possible. I can really see that you have lived through this and I appreciate you!
I am home alone all day. I don’t watch tv anymore. I feel I’m alone to much. I am always bracing for the worst with and realizing I’m doing it. My what ifs are always about bad things happening to other people close to me.
You're not alone in feeling this way. Loneliness and anxiety can be tough. Maybe try joining an online group for your interests, or reaching out to someone you care about? Sending strength! #YouGotThis
I feel for you. I spent a lot of time alone in my childhood. Dennis has videos about intrusive thoughts that might be good to check out. I’ve been dealing with intrusive thoughts my whole life and still do. Getting a little space and relief from them is very helpful even if they still pop up. Mine have not gone away yet.

Thank you so much Denis. I been struggling with crippling anxiety for about 4 years to the point I was going to E.R thinking I was having heart attacks. I been watching your videos and working on telling my inner child that we are safe and there’s no need to worry. It’s been a battle but your videos really help me,even sometimes just listening to them as I do stuff to calm myself down. I still live in a state of fear of just dying and not being there for my kids but I really appreciate you. Thank you so much
Coming from a place of franticness , instead disinterest. And I like that you suggest having one idea to settle yourself instead of a million different things. Because a ruminating mind feels very crazy, along with symptoms like, weakness, tingling in the hands and feet, inner tremors, Muscles so tight … This results in one big ball of Crazytown. So just choosing one thought to go to when struggling with all these things sounds very helpful.
Yes I hate the dizziness, the fight or flight. I have had Menierre’s for 34 years. It is a dizziness vestibular disease and the anxiety dizziness compounds it all. Fighting a daily battle. Sometimes I just want to cry forever. Such a great video. Thank you.
I understand your pain,I get vertigo suffer on n off for 10 years ,I had whiplash from neck trauma ,get muscle flares when the vertigo hits ,my lord is terrifying ,wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy ,my anxiety hits the roof ,very debilitating ,sending you peace ❤from that horrid disease ,your not alone ❤
If this is of any help, my mum had severe meniere's disease for decades. After many years she randomly went to see an alternative healer (not sure exactly what kind of healer), who told her that the meniere's was related to my mum's difficult relationship with her mum. My mum then subsequently, over time, stopped fearing the meniere's symptoms as much, and in time they all disappeared. So, in a sense, it was in my mum changing her response to the symptoms that was the cure for her. It was kind of like a miracle, from being bedbound to completely back to normal in a relatively short period of time. Wishing you a future of good health
Thank you for not only your an insight into your own time line but for sharing knowledge, so as we can all try to navigate this life. I had a stroke (3 small clots last July 23) out of the blue. A healthy woman of 44yrs. Thankful I'd never experienced anxiety up til then. This last period of time since then, has been trying to find something that would help me asap as it's an awful place to be trapped in. Using your knowledge and forming new habits, my life has got rosier. I'm kinda and ore compassionate to myself, that was the first hurdle. The rest is trusting g the body again and working with my inner child /chatter box (I have named them and collectively called the gang). Again thank you so much !
As you've mentioned previously, we all try and find solutions to what's happening in our bodies. My Drs have done all the tests and found no cause , was given the "just one of those things" as a diagnosis. I tried to find a reason as to why it happened as I needed a cause so as to fix it. However now learning to actually sit with the feelings and listen. I have gone from horrendous panic attacks throughout the day and and fearful of even knocks at the door, being on medication etc to being back at work, coming off those meds AND saying yes to more things. This has been hard work but now I know, I'm not alone and life is there to embrace 😊
My biggest more than anxiety moment from this video was watching dilating hands in my left hand (the left hand is more dilated than the right which was scaring me a lot to panic) disappear in front of my eyes. That was cool and empowering. Very trippy.
Romanticizing and empowering my anxiety symptoms like some big chapter or section of my life has taught them that they belong, somehow. Having to experience the endless fatigue and sleepless nights makes it impossible to ignore or run from. So I'll settle on dispassionate awareness, it is only strong if I send it strength or feed it fear. Thank you for the learning experience.
Thank you! You are providing the link I needed between my spiritual journey and my physical life. I asked my anxiety what it was trying to show me and your videos began to show up. Thank you 😅
Awareness as to where it comes from. Deep knot I live with on a constant. I sometimes don’t know how to begin to unravel the trauma. I remember my first attack, a very long time ago. I recall telling myself that our bodies are so smart that if you’re not on the right path, your body will paralyze you via anxiety, until you make the changes necessary. I had forgotten that lesson..and life has become longer and more complicated. I still believe that insight to hold truth, but I’m in it hard right now.
My anxiety has become clockwork. Every morning I wake up feeling grounded and perfectly fine. After I’m done doing whatever it is I need to do I begin to feel unreal and then comes stomach problems and I feel like I can’t breathe. I anticipate the anxiety even though I try not to and I tell myself that I’m fine and it’s just anxiety but I’m still having panic attacks every day. The feeling comes over me no matter what I do
Oh how I wish I could see you 1 to 1! I find the only answer to any quality in my life is through distraction so clearly I haven't fully understood yr explanation. I'm just so grateful that you understand exactly what this anxiety is Big help x
I'm healing and you are a sponsor that is helping me since my severe panic attacks all the way now with "only" my anxiety. Mindfulness is an antidote to anxiety. That' awesome. In this video you talk about my symptoms and gave me hope. Thank you.

Looking at the symptoms with dispassion and being awareness! This makes so much sense! I think smartphones are dumb too. lol. And I love how authenticity is SO important in anxiety healing. I have spent most of my life being someone I am not, especially when I was around my dad. Thank you for this Dennis! My book came in today and I am looking forward to taking my time reading it ❤😊
I've made peace with death, I don't fear it and why should I? This fear people had harbored comes from misleading religious beliefs. Death is seen as a punishment for our sin? That's a ridiculous idea. As an Agnostic and free thinker, I see death as liberating, it sets us free from the burden of life many times. A person with chronic depression is misunderstood, and many practitioners just know one thing " To write a prescription " many like myself go about our lives ,doing our normal tasks while feeling empty. I have a wonderful job as Personal Trainer for people over 60, I'm really good at it, yet I am still empty. I have no bad habits, I workout often, sleep well, have a wonderful son, yet I feel empty. Dennis, can you shed some light on why some symptoms will come and go, but some are there every single day 24/7 and never let up. Example, i have had over 50 symptoms. Most just come and go, some have been there and never came back. However, the off balance/swaying feeling is always there. Every single day. The degree of it varies, some days its better than other days, some days its worse. But it never goes away. How can i work with this? I got a balance beam and have started using it to try and train on it, but wonder what else i can do. Thank you for your brilliant videos. You are so wise
Mainly due to a particular pattern that hasn’t been recognized and lifted, or replaced, along with the fear that still consumes you around what that particular symptom may be.
Would you mind telling me how your stomach feels when you get this,I suffer really bad with my stomach so much so I very started having gastritis it's a nightmare.
Your videos are amazing Dennis! I have been dizzy for 2.5 years. Doctors found nothing wrong. Have you ever experienced that and do you know if it will truly go away?
Jelly legs and slight dizziness (it was much more worse before), so I am glad you mentioned it. I have one question: why do I feel anxiety symptoms even when I am doing something passionate, or at least I think so? When I am thrilled, happy etc..
I've always had or mostly had an underlying feeling of sadness even though I've done quite a bit of work. I meditate etc. How to not always have that sadness
Hi Dennis, remember me? I took the inner circle and had a couple years of anxiety freedom. Understandably I’m having my anxiety because of going through a separation. So I’m back on and ready to do my thing. Today I decided to be gentle with my flare ups and acknowledge them. I love this video. Should I do inner circle again or what do you recommend if you hv time to answer. Hugs
Passion will initially arise due to unconsciousness, dispassion can arise through a greater awareness until a point where the subconscious mind body understands that there is no longer a need for such a threatened response.
I suffer with stomach problems with my anxiety for a long time ,it goes for a few weeks then back as soon as I'm stressed, anyone else have anxiety effect there stomach.
I feel like my anxiety has been really bad lately. Basically doing everything that to help. My blood pressure just goes up really bad where I get the jitters and the shakes and the fear. I do take medication for high blood pressure and thought it was under control. I watch what I eat what I think try to exercise at least every other day. I never had all the health anxiety stuff. Also, I'm thinking it could be because I'm getting older.
I asked on a comment a few days ago when I experienced anxiety and all of a sudden my eyes just almost blacked out and I almost fainted. It was pretty scary. I couldn't see for 20 seconds I moved my head around and I had already eaten healthy etc. Any comment on this?
Hi Dennis. I have a quick question. I have been out with my friends and still trying to live life so whilst I’m technically in the “present”, I don’t know how to let go in those moments when my body feels so scary like derealization and passing out, etc. I try to let go in those moments and focus on what’s going on in front of me but, can’t figure out how to. My body gets so worked up in a panic and I struggle to push through. Any tips for this?
Yes, don’t mentally approach it, react to it. Instead, take a few moments at its peak to sit, stand, walk with it. Go directly towards it, it takes practice and persistence but this kind of response will help the body/inner child feel acknowledged, and comforted and guided.
Hi Dennis, dont know is it anxiety symptom but i feel so exhausted and tired every single day,i think my anxiety in pass 3 weeks improved a lot but feeling so exhausted and tired every day make me scared
The person I’m scared of that my anxiety is on my phone so I’m using my phone to expose myself to my favorite artist and he’s nice was sick by them getting better
Does anyone experience this... veins on both arms appearing more visible than usual when anxious or stressed?, its almost like it buldge. I'm a women and its so annoying and happened right after i fell in this anxiety cycle.
My biggest moment is when you say to stop distracting from relationship, events so I don’t understand what you mean by that (not to attend, not to be around some people please can you explain to us someway ieasy to understand thank you
Of course, go towards what it is that is causing your discomfort within to get to know it better. No longer looking to relationships, events, phones, work, travel, news, etc to distract you away from this inner work.
I have become obsessive over my pulse. Is it too fast, is it too slow, is my heart beating right??? And if it's not that, it's some other symptom du jour.
Not quite sure but I keep meeting these phony people online they claim their military or this or that. I have had good relationships in my life but seemed to have had a lot of weird experiences the last 4 years or so? At least I know how to check these people out online and immediately figure it out. I am very clear on what I want and I've done lots of personal growth work. I'm intelligent successful attractive etc

Im on my second round of symptoms, buut the throat anxiety bothered me so much i was on liquid died (four months ago) i used the distraction techniques for awhile then i got tired of it so i moved on (face my fear of choking and dying) and now im eating solid foods now again. Gained weight. Chabged my mindset (somewhat) working on not worrying so much. I communicate more. I stopped showing fear and putting my foot down. I guess yhe throat anxiety (weird sensation in my throat that made me think im going to choke) was telling me i didnt feel heard. I still dont haha but i talk more. I communicate more. I am also more active, chabged my life style. Surrounded myself arounf better people and friends who listej and understand me. Chabge hour life, try not show fear. Talk to someone. Get medication if needed. Jusy kniw youre not alone. Also STAY OFF OF GOOGLE. GOOGLE ISNT YOUR DOCTOR.
I still have the throat anxiety at the evening for like an hour, but during the day im fine. Eatkng and drinking like normal. Why is that? I was told because i know itll happen. Because i look forward to it happening (maybe iys true) so ive been working on yhat too. Two days ago i was able to eat dinner with my family iy was great. ❤

Yes, don’t mentally approach it, react to it. Instead, take a few moments at its peak to sit, stand, walk with it. Go directly towards it, it takes practice and persistence but this kind of response will help the body/inner child feel acknowledged, and comforted and guided.
I got one symptom and I already experienced so many of them but this one has lasted longer what is your recommendation
Feeling fear.

A sign from your body that you need to take things slow and avoid over exertion, a good sign.

Yes, the ego mind has many tricks up its sleeve to make us feel endangered in the hopes that we continue to live a life of fear.

How do you check these people out online?
@@supdoed3 you go to beenverified and put in their email address and it will give all their social media, work, addresses etcetera history. There is also a website that has pictures of people that are scammers and have used these pictures.
@@supdoed3 it's pretty simple go to the been verified and type in their email address and it will give you all their social media sites, their work history their address etcetera. Also, there is a website to look at pictures of people that have used these pictures and their not the real person they are scammers.

I feel like a pressurized shook up buddy Coke a Cola. 🧋💭💭💭💭😖😖🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
