Yes, thank you so much for this. I am having the same experience. Was searching for someone who had experienced the same, i am glad I found your video.
I’m in the first week of sertraline. I noticed it made my stomach really hurt for the first 3 or 4 days. It seems to have subsided now. I am dreaming every night and they’re pretty vivid and clear. It’s almost so vivid that it doesn’t feel like I’ve slept. I think it’s working so far 👍🏻
Hey Joseph, I'm glad to hear that side effects are subsiding for you! I can definitely relate to the vivid dreams, almost spookily clear! Hope you're still doing well? Take care 🙏
@@FeelingIsHealing thank you 😊 the stomach pain was excruciating at times but it’s all gone now so all good! Yeah the dreams are so vivid and clear. I’ve been on it about 3 weeks or so now. It seems to be having an effect on my mood. It can definitely take the edge off situations where your mood would go lower. I hope the longer I’m on it the better it gets 👍🏻
Thank you for this. I was worried that I was reacting badly to this drug, but now realise that the first week can be hard, and that is normal. Anxiety is worse and my head feels like it’s full of water. I hope you are doing well now.
@@FeelingIsHealing i just started again too im on day 8 i have every side effect in the book but my panick atacks are slightly getting better 💪🏽keep going
I’m on Day 4 and the first day I had a mild fever and a headache, but I have been exhausted ever since. I can sleep until well in the afternoon. I have like no energy. I can’t wait for this to pass
Just grabbed the meds from the pharmacy… didn’t actually want Zoloft , I was thinking I needed Adderol to help me stay focused and get my stuff done… Thanks for the video… after reading the comments, all the side effects and all,,, it sure I wanna start… I have to teach teenagers tomorrow and don’t want to act weird or feel out of it… probably wait til the weekend to begin this… I’ll chime in again - thanks
Hey Emma, I did feel slow, the first couple of days especially, no muscle soreness though. I hope you're doing okay and the side effects are beginning to pass 🙏
I take it for mild social anxieties and repetitive and compulsive autistic routines. I feel better but the side effects are annoying. Headaches and nausea.
Alright matey, thanks for the video first off.. I'm only on day 2, I take it in the morning, definitely notice a quick speed rush around high energy when first ingesting it. Headaches are there and appetite is gone. These aren't too bad, however I am noticing I'm just kind of zoned out/confused, did you get this? I know where I am etc.. I just mean, feeling different? hard to explain
Hey Jay, my pleasure. I can relate to the zoned out feeling, I think it's fairly common, it eased off over time for me & I no longer have it. Whether that's because I just got used to it, i'm not sure. Worth keeping an eye on though, see how you go. All the best 🙏
@@FeelingIsHealing thanks for the reply man. Day 5 for me. Headaches eased off, don’t get that ‘speedy rush’ I got the first day or two! That was crazy I must say😂 hard to explain the zoned out kind of feeling, I know what’s going on around me etc.. just sometimes feel a little disconnected, however I’ve took citalopram in the past and remember experiencing something similar! Think it’s purely a case of getting used to it! It’s still very early days for me anyway!
My friend just started on citalopram and says the same thing about feeling zoned out. All the best with it man, keep me posted on how you’re getting on 🙏
Hi Jane, thanks for stopping by! Side effects can last a few weeks, though the worst of them passed within the first week for me. Wishing you all the best on your journey!
Gregory Cain …. Yeah I’ve had a couple of random rapid heartbeat episodes both of them at night when I’ve woken up It’s like a panic attack but I don’t feel as agitated but it’s still kinda scary, I’m on week 6 now I done 4 weeks on 25mg then they upped them to 50mg they have taken the edge off my anxiety and depression which is good but I’m still not feeling myself at times between 8 & 12 weeks I’ve been told for maximum effect of the medication so I’m going to hang in there and see what happens I’m hoping I don’t need to go up to 100mg but if I need to then I’ll just have to but it is very rough at times on this medication…. How are you getting on I hope all is well?
😢 holy shyt the side effects hit me like a I,v dose of anxiety in my vein! diarrhea after a couple hours of taking 25mg , tightness in my chest tightness in my breathing . Swelling anxiety ! Slight headache ! Itchy tops of my feet. F this shyt !! Definitely not taking it ! That was the second time I tried taking that Shyt ! Hell no not again
Oh okay. Some medications work for some & not others, we just have to try and do what's best for ourselves. Seems like Zoloft is not for you, wishing you well for your journey on figuring out what's best for you! Take care.

Thanks Mingyu. Wishing you well 🙏 💚
First three days on sertraline - constant dizziness, occasional nausea, insomnia, and headaches. Oh and dry mouth. Oh and my anxiety is so much worse
I'm sorry to hear that. I just started Sertraline again 5 days ago so I'm experiencing similar symptoms. How are you feeling now?

Zoloft was the most commonly prescribed antidepressant in the USA in 2018 with over 38 million prescriptions.
Interesting! I think it's the most commonly prescribed SSRI here in the UK too
im on day 1 ...24 hours have gone by and im having side effects of feeling wierd and sweaty and twitchy and no sleep...

Aquarius any intrusive thoughts
I'm sorry to hear that Aquarius, I had the same symptoms minus the sweating on the first day. How are you feeling now? Hope you're doing better.
