Man, I remember when this album cam out. Was going through a much needed breakup. Was finding myself for the first time ever. Areosmith was the band that broke the curtain. Let people see what it was like to make an album. That clip of Stevie Tyler accentuating the beat at the control booth in the red cut off T-shirt. That is Rock and Roll. What it it takes my just be the most perfect song ever. At least at the time of its release, it was the perfect song for me in the moment. Still remains my favorite. Always in my playlist rotation. Long Rock Aerosmith! ❤️✌🏾
I don't feel Aerosmith got credit for being the first band to actually 'lift the veil' and let everyone see how they recorded the music. I saw this when it debuted on MTV and I was glued to my TV set(and it took 6 hours with all the commercials🤣) nobody else had the balls to put it all out there and show this side of the process. Aerosmith have and will always blaze the trail.
It's so clean, when I hear it on the radio or have the album, I just want to hear it again and again. The downbeat/downside(last couple of minutes) of song is amazing. 10:38. Truly a masterpiece.
I know this a 10y comment. But this song still grabs me. When I play it, it’s sure to be on my rotation for days or weeks at a time. Such a perfect song “Let it go, Let it go, Let it go…”
Bruce was always a nerd, played in his high school band. Just shows you, talent is what matters at least behind the scenes. producing is really hard. Most musicians suck at it. RIP Bruce
Best Frontman ever!

The finished product was amazing! Best American rock Band Ever!
nope
John Kalodner and Squidward are never seen in the same place at the same time.
The more I see Koladner, the more I like him. He’s a truth teller.
Cousin “It” with the nasal voice plays a large part in what they put out. There’s a job for everyone.
I love joe Perry of Aerosmith. Joe Perry i love you truly Tasha Mendoza.
whatever IT is...Tyler has IT! and then some...
What it Takes is by far one of the, if not the best song ever written!

“Let it go, Let it go, Let it go…”
the difference between a good band and a extraordinarily succesful band that sets standards.
Love love love Aerosmith
Its rare when a band puts out more effort out of accomplishing what makes them happy other than just for the monetary gain
John Kalodner looks like Cousin It
Love!

3:40 - 4:39 Omg steven
Who is the guy and why is he is trying to change Tyler's lyrics, which have always been outstanding?
John Kalodner, he’s from Geffen, the record company. He’s supposed to approve the album.
who are these people hanging arornd raking the dough and telling them how to write and what good or not
Someone know which microphones Steven uses in this video?
Many people say this is Kalodner's masterpiece, but too bad Aerosmith got in the way of the real artist.
