On the Pump album liner notes for the song "F.I.N.E." it states that is an acronym, standing for “Fucked Up, Insecure, Neurotic and Emotional." That is why he spells it out in this song.
This is one of my absolute favorites from Aerosmith and I've always loved how country it was! Too bad that this was the shortened version but I am glad that you reacted to it Jamel!
@@sheiladrucker6872 I know they are from the 70s but to me they were at their best during the Permanent Vacation, Pump, and Get a Grip Years. And yes, What it Takes is a killer meld of Country and Hard Rock.
The concert that they show at the beginning and end of this, I was there with my mom that night in Dallas, Texas. They filmed that part at the end of the concert. They did like 10 encores so they can film all of them and choose which one to use. And when Joe Perry came out in that long black jacket she was like "Oh my god, he looks so hot in that!!!!!" And the bar scene was filmed at the Longhorn Ballroom also in Dallas. At the time it was the longest running country bar in Tx. And when they advertised that they needed extras for the bar scene, they only did it on a local country station.
what recording was the "long version" on? I thought I was well versed in this song but.... I am known to learn something new everyday! Please advise or the curiosity will kill me!!!!!!
Holy crap is this tune fantastic. Back when Pump was released, everybody was focusing on Love in an Elevator, but this was the album's true masterpiece. I don't know if you've reacted to it yet, but if you want a great country tune by a rock band, do a video for Hot Dog, by Led Zeppelin.
First time I heard this song I was blown away by Steven’s vocals on this track. It’s. A really well written song. Dude you are one of my top reactors! You are spot on with your reviews! Thanks for what you done.
Seems like the video was a diss at the country audience. The country audience is too busy fighting to know the band is there, they transition to a rock concert, nothing but love. If you haven't yet, you should try their song The Other Side, from before every other song was called The Other Side.
Yes country music claims him because he does right country music. Plus you know modern country and Aerosmith Music is very close.. we recognize Our Roots.
"You spend my up like money, and left me out to dry" was I believe one of the things she did. F.I.N.E f*@ked up insecure neurotic emotional. I used this song myself because of a huge break-up. Awesome reaction brother.
Jamal_AKA_Jamal U need to react to Genesis - Abacab (Live Invisible Touch Tour 1987). Ur gonna luv that live Genesis Video. The song is called Abacab!!! Check it out.
Hey Jamal, it ain't a good 'ol boy bar unless a fight breaks out. Love this by Aerosmith. If and when you react to a country song, check out Jimmy Buffet's, "Why Don't We Get Drunk..." I would love to see your reaction.
They are definitely Not country! Do you know what F.I.N.E. means Mel? They have wire up in front of the band so they don't get hit. Keep going back to the mid 70s with this group. First 4 albums. Man, I'm telling you they are so good.
I don't think its a situation where he did not do right by her... more like he did everything he could and fell for her hard.. then she just moved on to the next guy and left him out to dry...he is definitely saying ' how can you be so cruel, at least tell me how to forget it ever happened'
Man, they have so many better songs. Even the ones that aren't singles. Permanent Vacation, Medicine Man (not sure of correct title), Big Ten Inch Record, Young Lust, Monkey on my Back, Lord of your Thighs, Hangman Jury, THE GIRL KEEPS COMING APART, No more no more,

"Toys in the Attic" album is the best a greatest of theirs.

Jamel, Please react to Aerosmith's song/video "PINK". Steven sounds great on this song!!
This is one of my absolute favorites from Aerosmith and I've always loved how country it was! Too bad that this was the shortened version but I am glad that you reacted to it Jamel!
I don't think the country scene goes with these rockers from the 70's. WTF?
The shortened version doesn’t do one of the band’s best songs justice.
@@sheiladrucker6872 I know they are from the 70s but to me they were at their best during the Permanent Vacation, Pump, and Get a Grip Years. And yes, What it Takes is a killer meld of Country and Hard Rock.
@@rogerscollier7424 DITTO. I love the outro of this song and you never hear it anymore,
It's a close to perfect song

Aerosmith was my absolute favorite in the 90’s as a teen! I love and will always love their music.
"tell me what takes to let you go!!!" DANG!!!
Another awesome Aerosmith song
Many Aerosmith songs have a country vibe.. Is angel is a great one! Not too much of a country fan but I love my Aerosmith
One of my favorite Aerosmith songs but you have to do the long version. Guarantee that you’ll appreciate Steven Tyler’s vocals even more.
what recording was the "long version" on? I thought I was well versed in this song but.... I am known to learn something new everyday! Please advise or the curiosity will kill me!!!!!!
@@gmb858 he is just referring to the full ending where Steven repeats the lyrics “letting go”. It’s the version played on the radio.
One of my favorite Aerosmith videos!!
I love this song! Takes me back to my 20’s!
Definitely check out the full length studio recording alternate version of this in your own time. Great Reaction Jamel ❤️

This is my favorite song off their Pump album.
This is blues man, the lyrics just hit so hard. Aerosmith is hella underrated

Great reaction, and your analogy at the end was correct! He needed to hear her say that to him! Another awesome job bro! Keep it up!
It never gets old!!!!!!! 100
i think this is one of their best songs
This song got me through a bad break up back in hs. Good times lol
Girl, before I met you I was F.I.N.E. - “fucked up, insecure, neurotic, and emotional”
Kalau lagi stress Lagu Yg paling nyaman d telinga, cuman lagu2nya Aerosmith..kelompok Orang Tua Yg sangat Keren..🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🌹
My absolute favorite Aerosmith 💓 love n peace!

Such a fun blast to the past!! Took me back to high school. Thanks for keeping great music alive 💖
When the guitar goes from F to Fm and Steven sings: Tell me that your body doesn't miss my touch... 🔥🔥🔥

Aerosmith Train Kept A Rolling
When this song came out back in the day I had a red T-top firebird and I played this song blasting....windows down and T-tops out🥰😎
Steven Tyler also plays a lot of instruments, even though it’s rare onstage. He writes multiple parts in the songs.
Aerosmith's song/video "PINK" is definitely one to react to!!
This is my all time favorite Aerosmith song. So nice to see you enjoy it Jamel.
I am loving your reaction! I had not heard this one for a few years. It is a showcase for Steven's range. Great stuff! Thank you.
The first 4 Aerosmith albums were their best work IMHO.
I think you would like "Last Child" by Aerosmith. Good to see you were able to find some music that got through!
One of my favorite bands went to see him eight different times eight different states travel Air Force let's have another one
My favorite Aerosmith song! Great reaction! 💜
Keep it up, we love you brother, not in a weird way
Jamal the dude is looking for closure but he's ready to kick her to the curb for taking his love and stomping on it!
"You spend my up like money, and left me out to dry" was I believe one of the things she did. F.I.N.E f*@ked up insecure neurotic emotional. I used this song myself because of a huge break-up. Awesome reaction brother.
The best version of this was Tokyo 2002 in fact that whole concert was 🔥
That bar fight was great. Watch the bar fight in Best of the Best. That's a good one too.
Love the channel. More Aerosmith my man. Rats in the Cellar from the “Rocks” album.
Great song. Also great example of how a video can detract from the music. This song is better on its own.
I just love you and you have some of the best music equipment because all of your videos sound great in my car.😁
"Hit him with the Uncle Phil..." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love this song! Deuces are wild too

High school breakup song to my girlfriend. Broke my young heart.
