I like their early stuff better. Specifically, "Make it", "Somebody", "One Way Street" (Tyler's best vocal track of all time in my opinion). I think Tyler's early vocals are better as well as the songwriting and instrumentation. It was at this mid 70's time period when Aerosmith was at the height of its popularity and success. Their "Rocks" album is pretty dynamic as well. The reaction circuit is stuck on the later, commercialized version of Aerosmith. The "made for TV and movies" version.

This is the Texas Longhorn Ballroom. My grandparents were managers there. I have many pictures of us there. They closed in the late 80s early 90s. Sat empty for a while, then Aerosmith production people bought it just to film this video and trash it. Turned around and sold it after. My grandparents meet the band Alabama there before they were famous. My mom has signed albums they gave to my Grampa. So many memories. The video games and pinball are the same ones. Played as a kid in the 70s 80s. The Dallas cowboys cheerleaders posters, checkered tablecloths, bull horns over the stage every single thing was exactly the same, left untouched for this video! @@AZambri1 The bands I mentioned are not on commercial radio. They deserve attention because the stuff on commercial radio ignores them. Then most people my age and older don't know how to find them.

    Hi guys :)
The much better version is from the recording studio, because the song is complete.

This song takes me back. Aerosmith got messed up in drugs and then staged a comeback that made them even bigger than they were in the 70s. And they were big in the 70s. This reminds me of high school & those carefree days of just going to school and having fun. Good times.

Greatest Hits (1980) and Permanent Vacation (1987) got me interested in the group, but Pump (1989) was my jam. I got to see them live that year with The Black Crows opening. The stage set-up you see in video was the same stage they used for whole tour. It's supposed to be the top of a motel and every show gets the cities name across it. More Aerosmith plz. "Seasons of Wither". Awesome reaction guys.

This (especially the version with the longer ending) is possibly my favorite song by them ever. It's hard to say, because I have so many favorite songs by them, but yeah, it's high up there.

This is a great song. Glad y'all finally check it out. Now y'all should check out " Janie's got a Gun". It was written by Stevin Tyler and Joe Perry on a subject that nobody wants to talk about.

Tyler and the bassist, Hamilton wrote Janie. That’s his bass riff you hear on the song, came from Hamilton.

When he sings "Girl before I met you I was FINE fine" the FINE is a call back to an earlier song on the album "Pump" called "F.I.N.E" which stands for "F**ked Up, Insecure, Neurotic, and Emotional"

Me and my mom were at the actual concert that is at the beginning and at the end of the video. We were in the upper deck next to the American flag. The concert was done at Reunion Arena in Dallas, Texas and the bar scene was done at an old bar near downtown Dallas called The Longhorn Ballroom. And all of the extras were told about the video through a local country radio station cause they wanted actual country fans in the video. At the concert they did like 8-9 encores so they could film the band getting on and off the stage. My mom went crazy when she saw Joe Perry come out in the long black jacket.

Love 70s era Aerosmith but they do have some great songs from the 80s and beyond. Finally saw them live in 2001. They were in top form at that time. I highly recommend No More No More and Kings and Queens. They have so many great tracks.

Jammin to your reactions today as the Best American Rock Band has announced the end of their touring. Lucky to have seen them about 20 times from my first concert with them and Slade and Mott the Hoople, to drunkin almost empty huge bar, to the best in Vegas, Boston, Tampa, Orlando etc. My highlights of phenomenal rock experiences!.

I saw them Live twice. They were one of my 70's favorites. They headlined at my first concert, Cal Jam 2, in 1978. And I didn't see them again until the Nine Lives Tour in, I think '97.

No one else modulates (changes key), in the middle of a lyric or phrase like they do. I've heard this song a hundred times and that modulation still gets me every time. Wanna hear what I mean, skip to 5:23 and listen to them modulate like 5 times inside 20 seconds. Fan-freaking-tastic.

One of my favorites, but I like the other video of them singing it better. In the other video, the ending is drawn out a little longer and watching him sing it without the comic humor in the backgrounds makes it feel more emotional and intense.

Aerosmith has been rocking since 1970. Steven Tyler never lost that voice. He is truly amazing Aerosmith is one of my obsessions musically. I also adore Boz Scaggs and Steve Perry. Another amazing voice is Pat Monahan from Train. You really need to check them out. Listen to Drops of Jupiter which he wrote after his mom passed. It is her spirit returning after a trip in the afterlife. Meet Virginia, and Hey Soul Sister are also great.

Some great Aerosmith songs- "Reefer Head Woman", a cool bluesy tune with some good harmonica and Steven's patented high squeal, "Draw The Line" "Same Old Song And Dance", "Train Kept A Rollin'" and their version of The Beatles "Come Together"

I love the line in the song that says "Girl before I met you, I was F.I.N.E. fine". For those of you that don't know it. It means "Fucked Up, Insecure, Neurotic, and Emotional". He learned that shit in rehab therapy.
