Thank you so much. I think that the best places in the Philippines have not been discovered by the tourists yet. They are out of the way, where even many Filipinos have not yet seen. I am searching for that very, very special spot that perhaps may yet become famous. Sometimes I just get on the motorcycle, pick a direction and see where it takes us. Thank you again for such a wonderful comment. I have sometimes considered giving up vlogging, but with this video it has really reinvigorated my journey. Warm regards… Roland

Sir, do not worry about your hat. Just understand that the wind and the sea accepted your presence and took something connected with you. Befriend nature, and they will take care of you.
lol. I spent 6 months looking for that hat in Australia as there was no leather being made during Covid. There were no kangaroo leather hats of my size for a long time. It was very precious to me lol.
The Intramuros Administration and the city government of Manila should get rid of those bogus guides. Barbara's restaurant was never used as the residence of the Philippine president during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines. All the Philippine presidents, including Japanese-installed president Laurel, resided in Malacañang Palace. It's also not true that gold bars were hidden underneath Barbara's. Regarding McArthur's famous line "I shall return.", he uttered those words upon arrival in Australia when he was ordered by US President Roosevelt to leave the Philippines. He, indeed, returned 2.5 years later and landed in Palo, Leyte in Leyte Gulf, the site of the largest naval battle in history.

From a foreigners point of view there are a lot of things right with the Phillipines. There are many things here that you have said, and I understand what you are saying, but there is far more positive in the Phillipines than what you have said as well. I love it here. For me it is much better than living in the west. I had a Filipina friend who just came back from Canada.. all the issues that I said were in the west she also echoed with me. There are so many things that the Philippines has that wealth does not buy. The west is poor in family, religion, culture and friendliness.

MacArthur did return. He and his troops landed in Tacloban, Leyte, in the Visayas region. Statues of them can be found walking on the beach.
Yes… I have found that out since. It is a pity that some people told me the wrong information. I just believed my guides.
