You and your team are so talented, please make some more long form content like this even though I know its an insurmountable amount of effort to get it made. Thank you for this!
Actually his first ever video was a pilot show for discovery and they turned it down!! How and why, I can’t understand. He’s awesome! I might have kept directTV if he had a show on there. 💕
I am AMAZED that a 10 person crew made this documentary! I've seen 100+ person production crews that can't hold a candle to this; this was better than the History channel, really! EXCELLENT job!!
I like how you are so polite when eating a lot of that “ interesting food” and express your feelings about the taste of the food in a way as to not offend the people who cooked it for you. You and Andrew keep it classy and never make derogatory statements about the food, the people, the cultures, the food and it’s preparation and the environment. I am sure there are times you have probably wanted to throw up but you and Andrew solider on and down the food with as little bit of drama as possible.
Growing up in the US, most of this food would probably be so potentially unappetizing to me. But then again I’m so used to eating Double Quarter Pounder so I’m biased. I imagine I’d be so much happier to each such foods

Recently discovered this channel and I'm so glad I did. This is genuinely one of the best food shows I have ever come across, certainly the best on RUclips (that I have seen) and by some margin. The production, the presentation, the locales, the research and prior knowledge.. all finished off with Sonny's (and in this case, Andrew's) very human, informal, playful delivery. It doesn't get a lot better than this in my opinion. Thank you so much for the incredible content, please keep it up!
I'm loving the Andrew Fraser Best Ever Food Review show and what he has done assembling this documentary with Sonny is fantastic. Sonny should think of starting a channel of his own one day. He's pretty good too.
Honestly choked me up a bit. That’s one thing I love about Sonny, the team, this channel- the respect and honor they show to indigenous people and their cultures/foods. I believe Tony Bourdain would approve of this channel.

Who watches tv anymore? He has found the perfect format for his kick a$$ videos, a massive international/domestic audience, most importantly, double duty of views & followers instead of having to gain followers separately.
Why would he wanna be on TV? And be told how to make his show. Plus people like me would never watch.
@@owynpham1478I agree. TV would change everything...the authenticity and creativity that Sonny and team put into it.
That’s my 2 hours and twenty minutes wisely spent.
As a American born Vietnamese person, I just want to say thank you for showing me great parts of my country that I didnt even know about
I never understood the "my country" when you were born in the US. I'm completely German. My Grandparents moved here from Germany but I've never considered Germany "my country". Is it a culture thing?
it's a saying
@@kalel33 I think what she means is as an American was born in VN, so she might interested in other places in VN
@@anhhungsaigon She specifically states she was born in America but of Vietnamese decent. Her videos are even of her school in the US. She might just visit Vietnam but she's not from Vietnam.
@@kalel33 because a lot of asian Americans are 1st generation Americans. So they grew up very closely with the culture their parents were raised in. It's also very important in asian cultures to preserve traditions, foods, languages, identity, family legacies, & cultures & to honor your parents legacies. We don't want to forget who we are or the culture that our parents & ancestors lived in. Its very special to us.
I watched this video the whole day and never get tired of it..I think this is the best show I ever enjoyed..it's interesting watching how these people still hold on to their culture despite the changes of generation and development.. compare to my home country the tradition is no longer practiced..thanks for sharing the video on social media, you made me see those places and learn some different styles of cooking method..💯❤️🙏😁😁..
100% agree.
The same for me ,❤
The part when Andrew ate the huge queen bug was pure gold. My whole house roared in laughter.
Wow, I have never watched an entire documentary with that excellent quality while the hosts are funny and warm, it really made me feel like going out with my friends on vacation.
I'm so happy I discovered this channel, I'm enjoying everything, thank you so much for your work. Greetings from Peru!
Absolutely loved the "Mission "impossible" themed adventures/challenges, the synergy/humorous banter between you and Andrew, the beautiful/unique areas of Vietnam you took us to, and the wonderful people of Vietnam.
The praise this channel gets is well deserved! This is what the people want! We love you Sonny and Co.!
I just can't get enough of this show. Love all the different cultures. The people are so friendly and open to foreigners. ❤
I don't care how long the content is I would love to watch this show.
Ever seen mine? :)
Hi
Super long vlog but worth it
Hello
This is so much more than a vlog. Same production quality as TV shows like Bizarre Foods etc.
Just get Royal Enfield I'm sure you won't be disappointed...it also comfortable... Bullet rocks
1:06:45 that is a man thing all the way we always want to show off our goodies some people call it balling if you have some good food or some good drink you have to let your friends know so that they can reciprocate and it goes on and on and on and on the party just never ends like that treat everyone like somebody's child and see what that gets you LOL
I can see you period before I get the mail to get some of that land because they don't understand the all around sacredness they ride bikes even though they can have cars to keep the atmosphere they use their hands even though they can use machines to keep the atmosphere pure it is not a place for hot roding and dumping chemicals it is like America used to be there is a place for everything in the country not a good thing in the city perhaps
One of the greatest videos I've watched. Vietnam is indeed a great country, very kind people, superb tourist attractions and has the best foods in the world! It's my dream to travel there someday. Sonny and Andrew were very polite to the locals, their reactions and comments were genuine, and they have the best humor. I am so glad I have watched this video, everything was just perfect. Your team is amazing! Continue what you love, continue making more informative videos, and we will always be here to support you.
🌍
I'm not sure if it's her playful banter or the way she instantly commands respect and takes control of a room when she enters or maybe it's simply her outgoing and hilarious personality... But I do believe I have fallen in love with My the Producer. Wow!
She’s like a VC version of Aubrey plaza.
Ms. V is such an interesting and intelligent lady. So confident, yet manages to temper it with some humble charm and she's witty. Lol.
I don't get what the thumbs down is about I'm lost. He's just showing other cultures food which I find interesting he's not offending anyone
im guessing its because...
You know what in the world we live in its probably that.
Why can't people just enjoy video why do they have to be so damn negative
Vegans maybe... too many cute animals eaten maybe?
Jealous trolls or vegans. Lol
Life and nature is all about balance, there will unfortunately always be people who dislike, hate, kill, steal etc.
It looks one of the most wonderful places on Earth, not overpopluated, enough for everyone, the people seem relaxed and peaceful and they still have a culture, not just a sea corporate identities and broken people.
This was a very uplifting docu to watch. I wish the best for Vietnam.
I really love these long format videos where you put an entire trip into an hour or two long video! Please give us more of these! I just found you a couple days ago & I just can't stop watching!
I forgot I was on RUclips watching this 😂who the hell still pays for cable🤷🏾♀️❤️
I cant remember the last time I've even watched cable. The only time I turn my tv on is for videogames or Netflix
I got rid of cable a few month’s ago I hadn’t watched TV in a year my brother gave me a iPad Pro 2020 for my birthday that’s all I watch I never knew how many interesting extremely different place’s people and thing’s there are in the world it’s AWESOME ‼️💯 no more TV for me 👍🏻
Going on 5 years without cable. Don’t miss it at all (or the monthly bill) 👍
I haven’t for 7 years, just internet lol. Also just pay for Amazon prime account. Use my sisters Hulu, Netflix, hbo max and Disney plus. Thank god for my big sister still takes care of me living 200 miles away lol
But I watch 50-75% RUclips anyway lol
We Stan the cultural education! I’ve learned more from you than some major sources.
I feel like so many influencers are not honest. Sunny has more integrity with his show and is so positive with his message that I feel good just watching every day,
10:16 i'm in love with how he wiped his hand before shaking. Little things but it shows a lot about the person.
i love how this show brings us together from worlds apart... its humbling to see how others live and how they make a living
I don't know about anyone else, but I can't help but comment on how charming and handsome Andrew is.
right?!
Really okay well that's why you and whoever else commented were the only two people that f****** said anything ew
@@dominicmonterosso1814 woah calm down buddy its just a compliment
@@dominicmonterosso1814 what’s the issue here? Lmaoo He is SUPER cute
I was thinking the same thing!! So cute
This is not just a food review channel but also a hilarious comedy shows. I dont get tired of watching 2 hours show. I think this is the best episode so far.
wow the man became emotional from being recognized for cooking in his town !! meanwhile we have famous chefs in America dn England that yell and curse at there workers lol how far we have came
which one?
There's a difference between cooks and chefs though. If you're pertaining to Gordon Ramsay, most of the yelling is just for the show because people want drama.
@@senpaisanchoyt5225 1:06:30
That moment just made a crystal tear run on my chick
To be fair our chefs have always yelled and scream and swear forever since we had chefs lol
Ms. V is iconic she is a true icon to vietnamese food and cooking. She even taught Gordon Ramsay a few tricks and such a long time ago. I had a tour with her years ago and trully her food was so delicious.
I've watched this more than a few times and I still firmly believe this is one of the better travel movies out here.
This should be on national geographic or something like that
I'm loving the Andrew Fraser Best Ever Food Review show and what he has done assembling this documentary with Sonny is fantastic. Sonny should think of starting a channel of his own one day. He's pretty good too.
Sonny and I can start a new channel together. Aw yeah! :)
16:49 He looks so proud and confident about his food
Honestly choked me up a bit. That’s one thing I love about Sonny, the team, this channel- the respect and honor they show to indigenous people and their cultures/foods. I believe Tony Bourdain would approve of this channel.
Wow! Makes me want to go to Vietnam, eating their food and living their culture. Even though, I traveled to different parts of the world, Vietnam is my top list. Sonny and Andrew are an amazing team, participating in sharing different tasks in the making of food, and guiding us throughout Vietnam, introducing different varities of food and culture.
On top of the amazing production and hilarious hosts, the music is so good?? This will forever be one of my favorite videos and channels as a whole. Love you guys!!
Great job loved the every bit of this video. Respect for the culture of this country Vietnam 🇻🇳. Keep up the good work guys. Love from India 🇮🇳 🙏🏻
I love Andrew. He’s handsome, has a nice smile, and personality.
NOTHING BEATS THIS! This food/travel docuseries channel is an explosion of all my favorite shows combined with all the kings of food and travel show hosts! This is now one of my favorites to binge-watch from anywhere! This show reminds me of Anthony Bourdain's no-filter attitude, Andrew Zimmern's dare-devil approach to food, and, last but not least, the bonus hilarious and witty personality of Sonny is like the cherry on top! You can't ask for anything else! #Legends
P. S. More videos with Andrew!!!
Love it! You've introduced me to different cultures and food of Vietnam that I, a Vietnamese, have no idea about.
Thank you for your hard work always!
I have no idea how I found this channel but I’m hooked..
omg love that you have this trip all in one video, even though I have seen them it's great to watch it none stop thx Sonny this is so great much love hun stay safe
The praise this channel has received is truly deserved! This is what all levels of society want! congratulations to Sonny and co!
Man oh man, the production quality and content from this channel is OOF, TOP NOTCH!

Yes and I think this will help with depression 😢
That Sonny guest is kinda funny, Andrew. You should invite him more.

the lady's cooking skill is so impressive
Within seven years that i've binge-watched literally everything from A to Z on the whole damn internet that has anything to do with ASEAn' cuisines and cultures (even the ones in foreign languages) this is by far the most entertaining and warm. Even anything from cable isn't this good! The little edits are hilarious and the hosts are goofy in the most loveable way... This should be on NatGeo!
I appreciate the reverence you show to your hosts. 1st world meets old world. The former can learn from the latter. NICE
This channel is better than anything I've seen on TV in the last 30y. I hope it goes on forever. So educational and entertaining.
After watching this episode I really know how hard you and your team work to bring content that shows things never seen before. Thank you so much for the content, and you got another couple of fans here reping your merch!
Now we can watch the entire series in one big documentary, awesome!
Shhhh Kim FBI is watching this now...over and out.
Hey kim how are you playa playa!!!
wow this really changed my perspective of how i see food and it's so cool to see that some people are still making the best of this during the pandemic
Sonny lives a heavenly life, going around the world, get to know the locals, eating all these delicious foods and seeing so many beautiful places!!!

This channel has always been so entertaining and satisfying. I just didn't know it could get even better... and it did with this full length documentary.
Now you have to do more of these!!! Maybe 1 full length per country/region.
