This is not just a food review channel...This is a cultural documentary that makes me appreciate our planet and I will support this channel till l'm an old woman with 6 cats.
It's 2023 and this channel continue to show how little I know about the world. The food, the language, the culture... it's so fascinating to see how different but somewhat the same we are. More power to the BEFRS team.
It's amazing to see how funny he manages to be wherever he goes,. Cracking jokes, Blending in in every culture and communities, enjoying places and food but what i love the most about him is the level of respect he has for every culture and food from every corner of the world.
I have never seen someone acknowledge the caste system that is still present in my country , especially someone with such a large reach as this channel. The food review is top notch as usual. I hope you guys keep going forever.
I live in Nepal and own an expedition guide company. This entire video is brilliant. Very well done and I applaud you for attacking some of the caste issues head on.
The video quality , story telling, Sonny’s understanding and respect towards people & their cultures is just awesome. Best RUclipsr in my humble opinion.
I am 63 years young, and this channel is teaching me nearly as much as I have learned in my entire life!! Absolutely brilliant. Thank you Sonny, and good luck to you and your wife. 👍👍🙏🙏
in sonys video i see only POVERTY ... and CORUPTION .. and SHIT food made in SHADY conditions ... if this is NEPAL .. stay the fuck there with your fucking culture :)
ONE WORD! BEAUTIFUL! This video is an escape into Nepal & Katmandu from the comfort of my couch in the basement! Food looks so rich in textures and taste, and meeting other people. The drone view are mesmerizing! GREAT JOB SONNY!
To everyone who sees this comment, keep pushing in life and never give up. Can't wait to see you successful one day and May God bless you!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love this channel. Takes me right back to my highschool days watching Anthony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmern and wishing I could someday explore the way they do. I’m 30 now and spent almost 2 years in Eastern Europe trying all kinds of different foods and have tried so much new food back here in the US all credit to these kinds of channels. I used to be so picky as a kid lmao but now I’m up for anything 😆 Thank you Sonny!
Thank you so much, Sonny, for your '...India to south and Tibet to the North comment.' Good on you for respecting the Tibetan people and their struggle.
Nepal certainly is an interesting country. Their cultures and traditions are expansive. Seems like there’s so much more fascinating things to explore once you’re keen on looking close enough.
I love how far you go to understand a culture. I've eaten buffalo burgers plenty of times and this has made me more appreciative and interested in making more types of food with it!
I have a picture posing with a large family from Nepal. It was during a festival at the Palace of Gold in West Virginia, USA. They made me feel like a celebrity. Lol. I don't know why they wanted a picture, but meeting them and learning about their culture and religion will always stay with me.
Sonny, you and your team have really upped your game. I have been a fan for a long time and have enjoyed watching you grow and evolve. The production and content of your last few episodes are next-level! You are now, hands down the best channel online for this type of content. Thank you for staying on your game. Keep it coming. Thank you, Thank you.
really glad that u started combining all the videos into one long video, makes my watching alot more enjoyable, the nepal influencer lady was excellent. 1:18:20 extremely slight editing error, leaving like 2 frames of the endcard i think
Wow, what an incredible adventure! Your video perfectly captured the vibrant culture and delicious street food of Nepal, while also highlighting the unique traditions of the local tribes. The footage of you trying the Mad Honey was absolutely fascinating - I had never heard of it before, and it was fascinating to learn about its effects and the process of harvesting it. Your enthusiasm and sense of adventure truly shone through in this video, and I can't wait to see where your travels take you next! Keep up the amazing work!
And I thought it would be another 15-20min video, but no it's a movie, a documentary. I watch it tonight with my kids, better than school! I think you do a great job, because you do the stuff yourself without a production company, you can show without filters how it looks in other countries, and I am always fascinated! Please keep up the good work.
I live in india (karma bhumi) and born in nepal (janma bhumi) and by you I am abled to know about my both place, thank you so much for making me proud about my both nation and nostalgic by nepal 😁😁😁
Thank you to Sonny and your team for this summary of the Nepal series. I have watched your videos since you were first in Vietnam. Really admire your courage to eat raw meat and blood and also sometimes protein from never heard of animals.
i feel so many flowers blooming inside of me watching this video. I do not have words how beautifully this has been captured. Better than Netflix doc. Lot of love to the team
THANK YOU FOR SPENDING YOUR VALUABLE TIME IN NEPAL 🇳🇵 YOUR VIDEOS ARE SO ENGAGING THAT MAKES TOURIST TO VISIT NEPAL ONCE IN THEIR LIFE ❤️ WHAT A BEAUTIFUL NATURAL PLACES IN NEPAL😍
Wow! That honey harvesting is very dangerous. I always wonder why their honey is so dang expensive. Now I know why. They are really brave to climb up that high to get to that honey combs. Me, probably fall down toward the half way point bc I don’t like heights. Thank you for sharing sonny. God bless you all. 🙏🙏🙏❤️
This is one of my favourite channels. Food IS culture as much as language and music. I really enjoyed the “Mad Honey “ section, I’ve seen documentaries about it before, this was the best. I loved the way they showed the bees as they “waved” on the honeycomb on the cliff. Fascinating. A bee Mexican Wave. The honeycombs are beautiful. I’m allergic to bee stings, this is my comfort level with bees, on screen!
Agreed! Food is culture, too! it's nice to learn about ways to prepare plants and animals you wouldn't immediately recognize as edible and potentially tasty.
This was such an interesting video, it made me very curious about Nepali culture. I’ve learned and been able to witness so many unique things on this channel. Thank you for always putting the hard work in.
Sonny is one of the best show presenters. His adaptability, open mindedness, and respect towards every culture are unparalleled. Love this guy! And well! Where Hinduism goes, demonic caste system follows. What a shame! For better understanding of those not in or from India, caste system is similar to apartheid.
It's perfectly documented. I am proud of madhesi and tharu people and all who are involved into agriculture and farming even though they don't get much for their work.
All in one video meaning you had more to explore Sunny Nepal has vast culture difference along with food culture ranging from low tarai to mountain.... still whatever you showed was just part of our culture and some were new for me too thanks team for exploring Nepal for us

I really like how he showed the least known, tiny villages and gave importance to their traditional ways. I just love this channel.
This ain't just about the food. This is about people and culture. Hats off to BEFRS.
A cruel and unusual culture for sure
