Looks so good! I want to eat all of them when I return to Vietnam! I already ate bun cha from that restaurant and I'm in love with that dish! I also love those herb platters they serve in almost every dish I order. The strength of their taste is heaven for me. One time, I went to Sa Pa, and I got sick because of tiredness. I ate a fish pho with lots of herbs and I got better. The dish I ate was like a delicious food and medicine rolled into one. Also, some folks in Trang An gave me green tea for free because we got rained on. My face was shocked when I tasted that tea. It was so good, I haven't drank that kind of tea ever. And I'm an avid tea drinker! Vietnam is a true food haven. I wish more people will get to experience their food culture.

Bun Rieu is one of the most underrated Vietnamese noodles ever. When you talk about Vietnamese noodles, the one that comes to mind is usually Pho. But Bun Rieu is so so good as well. Had it when I went to Saigon, and craving it ever since cos it's not easily found where I'm from.

That bowl is a mixture of literally everything hahaha. Seafood (the broth is made from crab fat, shrimp paste put in the bowl), eggs, fish cake, garlic, herbs, oh man...
THanks for this Video Mark. They are always fascinating. The streetfood in Hanoi looks amazing. I have found that language is always the golden key that gives access to the treats available all over the world. What would be so helpful is to give a list of the dishes shown as you describe them in English, then alongside, as Vietnamese translation that could be printed out and shown to the intrepid foodies touring around the streets of Hanoi and other fascinating cities. Otherwise people are trapped in the tourist areas and cannot venture into the more interesting off the beaten track areas. Keep the videos coming!

Hi Mark, thanks for coming to Vietnam and enjoy our food and respecting our culture. It has been so long since i watch your first video in Vietnam. Please don't forget to come to Saigon for more street food review. Hope you have a nice trip in Vietnam
Hanoi had some fabulous feels and wonderful people who are friendly and full of life. Every5hung looks fantastic Mark, thank you for sharing them with us.
Funny how I find your recent videos about my hometown eye-opening and intriguing as I've never been to even one of these places, even though I grow up in Hanoi and have been living here for 28 years.
Thanks to Mark's video, now I know several places I need to head to when I need to eat specific Hanoi's dishes xD. I also love Mark's attitude towards chả rươi. He's amazed and curious. I understand that each culture will have a 'bizarre' specialty, but I don't get why some people chose to film their faces with 'gross' or 'disgust' facial expression... If they're uncomfortable with a specific dish, they should skip it instead of trying to force themselves trying and end up making everyone uncomfortable. Kudos to this great man.
The noodle soup really looked impressive. I was in Hanoi a few years ago, and just followed the tour guide to find places to eat. They are no where near as good as these places
Normally tour guide don’t take tourist to these places. They are crowded all the time, so you may feel cramped. Also it doesn’t look very clean as well. That’s why tour guide normally take you to “safer” places, where the food is not that impressive but they meet other demand of the majority, like private seats and cleanliness
The feeling for that snail soup is kind of the same as for durian. Half of Vnese population really enjoy it. The other half disgust it, even can’t stand to smell it
Hello Mark, another exciting food video, you are so wonderful, respectful of other culture’s food and traveling to exciting countries and taking us along!!! Safe travels Mark !!🌎🌎💕💕💕💕👏👏👏
You are right Mark. The complex of taste and aroma from Bún (rice noodle, not Phở) is serious and it's the most common meal for breakfast in Hanoi (not the famous Phở)

I have Never Seen That Before! A Little Bit of Everything they want you to Taste! I Really Like the term " Award Winning Broth". I am beginning to believe that the Vietnamese broth ( as well as other Excellent Asian Broths! ) are part of what is uncommonly regarded as part of the INCREDIBLE Staple of Foods ...unlike anywhere Else ) is what combines flavors in an uncommon way that other nations DO NOT. The "Auntie" here is like other Special Auntie's that are NOT only GREAT Cooks and purveyors of their businesses, but Wonderfully Kind to be so Generous! OMG..the view of the SNAILS just WOWED Me! Snails are IMPOOSIBLE to get Correctly in The States. What a TREAT to watch! A Half a Dozen??? Oh Lord...Amazing! A LEGENDARY place! The Snail AND The Egg together?? I am Soo Jealous of SUCH Flavor! Then on to Bun Cha! The on to "Rice Porridge (CHAO) (Ribs?)...I do not know how to spell 'KonGee". Sand Worm Pancake....HA! Last place in Hanoi! Cha RuoI...if I spelled it right!....egg, pork, sand worms? Don't know if I could do Sand Worms....but I would give it a TRY. The :Combo Bite" looks Great! I LOVE the Chili's....would put them in ANYTHING! By The way, Mark needs Herbs and Chili's in dishes he wants to "Bump Up". I like to bump up flavor, as well, with spices. Soooo...NOTHING besides Herbs and Spices for me in this video....thanks, Mark. You are a WONDER with what you do!

12:47 The thickened white vinegar is rice wine vinegar. A Vietnamese dish usually represents a balanced nutrition following yin-yang healthy living. In this Bún Riêu (crap rice noodle), crap is considered as cold (yin) food, so it is taken with warm (yang) ingredients like hot chilli. The herb leaves add yang elements and flavours, too.

He has a GOAL to reach... a milestone most YouTubbers can only dream - the number 10
We hunted down Bún Chả Hàng Quạt because of this video and were so glad we did. Although just a five minute walk from our accomodation, we would never have found this place without watching this. It was amazing, so delicious. Thank you
Even though I wouldn't eat a Fertilized Duck Egg or the Worm dish, it's very interesting of how it's prepared & taste!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Hi Mark, thanks for coming to Vietnam and enjoy our food and respecting our culture. It has been so long since i watch your first video in Vietnam. Please don't forget to come to Saigon for more street food review. Hope you have a nice trip in Vietnam
Video của anh ấy rất hay nhưng ở giây 0:41 bản đồ lại không có các quần đảo của Việt Nam, điều đó là không thể chấp nhận được ạ.
Hanoi had some fabulous feels and wonderful people who are friendly and full of life. Every5hung looks fantastic Mark, thank you for sharing them with us.

Welcome to Vietnam Mark! I have been a fan to you for almost 3 years with your applealing food tour. I'm very happy to watch this video

Vietnamese foods are delicious and cheap too. Amazing🥰❣

Thank you so much for coming and enjoying my country’s food. You are the best RUclips videos that I have seen
I think I’ve officially seen a food that mark doesn’t die for, the snail soup even for him was looking difficult to eat 😂
Haha i thought i was the only one who saw this, i even fast forwarded it
Yeah that snail soup is difficult to eat even for Vietnamese people. In Vietnam either you absolutely dislike that soup or you are addicted to it
The feeling for that snail soup is kind of the same as for durian. Half of Vnese population really enjoy it. The other half disgust it, even can’t stand to smell it
Food is so beautiful...Love to eat different foods and it makes people happy. And the flavors here must be amazing.
ALMOST 10MILLION!...MARK, YOU MAKE US PHOENICIANS PROUD!!!!

Vietnamese food is amazing. I am Vietnamese and am very proud to introduce Vietnamese dishes to everyone.
This literally my dream job! I pray that I’ll eventually gain the financial stability so that I could travel, eat and become this happy! Slowly making my meal list from watching these amazing videos!
Thanks man! We are goi g to Hanoi this December and I already marked all places on my maps.... I wanna try them all
Thank you, welcome from all over the world to my hometown Viet Nam
What a fantastic adventure! The food looks amazing!
I am Vietnamese but I have never had a chance to go to Hanoi once. Thank you for loving Vietnam. I'm new to RUclips and look forward to following you. Thank you very much.
Then there is the "Hidden Gem"...I love that comment! HOW FAST they can assemble these dishes....I have Never Seen Anything Like This! And their ATTENTION to detail! Incredible! Duck Egg? Wow!...

Vietnam has the noodle soup down to Top. Definitely one of the top Five in my favorite noodle dishes.
started great as usual with good morning hey everyone! i expected a Good Morning VIETNAM! that could have been awesome, anyway youre awesome as usual
The food in Vietnam looks so tasty. Would love to try it.
that bun rieu .or any kind of soup base ..u can see that MSG bowl on the table was added.....better watch out for those handful of MSG everywhere in vn
Hanoi old Town a Special place, very underrated by many people.
In Vietnam, there are still 2 parties and 2 regimes competing with each other, the old regime is still talking bad about Vietnam.😂
Been watching you for 5 years now and still enjoying your videos went to Korea and Japan Philippines all the places you mentioned went there..keep up your awesome videos
Your buddy is warming up a little in this video, Mark your a legend 😂
