I think you missed one point Dasha: the reason Carl is so upset is not that he personally lost $4 million. He was laundering that money for criminal clients. They are going to be _extremely_ angry with him for losing their money.
I assumed that THEY would assume Carl got stupid and greedy and tried to rip them off. In any event, criminal cartels are NOT known for their patience and understanding!
@@JohnWelsh-oz3jz"They're going to bury you right next to Jimmy Hoffa" is a good line.
I always bawl like a baby at the end when Sam has to go to Heaven. Hits even harder now with Patrick Swayze's real life death in 2009. 😭
Dasha, I've been a flight attendant for 15 years.
The safety position on the airplane is the safest position to survive the impact unscathed and *protect* your head and your neck.
Certainly not to kill you quicker.
In fact, it has saved many people and reduced injuries on average since it was adopted. Not just in crashes, but in minor runway accidents too.
That being said, there is no position that guarantees your survival in *ANY* situation, and some accidents are so terrible that nothing you can do will save you.
But as long as there's a chance, assuming the safety position is the smart thing to do if you want not only to survive, but to be uninjured.
Wow look at that, you learn something new everyday
Let everybody know that they're always going to be safe and secure at all times no matter what your job is to make sure that they always feel safe at all times no matter if you're going up or going down your job is to make sure and that there walkways welcome back to your hairline always keep them happy for the job that you do
it is kind of like the duck and cover advertisement when they taught how to survive a nuclear blast. the way the plane hits the ground determines the survivors.
Too true. You also put your head between your legs to kiss your ass goodbye.
That thing about using that position to kill passengers is a new conspiracy theory that has recently been spreading on social media. Its a very very dangerous conspiracy theory because it may actually cost lives if passengers start arguing with flight attendants in a crisis, or ignoring the safety position. The people spreading that conspiracy theory are very irresponsible.
When he was being mugged, Sam told Willie to just take the money and sounded like he was implying to leave the rest (because he was trying to protect his book with the passwords). One of the requirements for pretty much any license to work in the financial sector is acknowledging you have a legal duty to protect the money of your clients, as well as conveying your full understanding of the legal repercussions if you don't in order to pass licensing exams. Sam wasn't worried about his own cash so much as that password book, which was precisely what Willie was hired by Carl to steal, because Sam is an honest and ethical person. It's presumably why he was entrusted with the job responsibilities he was, as opposed to someone like Carl..
I love how Dasha was yelling out instructions to help her man in a fight
"Punch him in the nuts or something " 😅
Those devils/demons that took the two villains away, the sound effect was babies crying, but slowed down to sound creepy.
That is horrifying
This movie hits way too hard now that I've lost my fiancee to ovarian cancer in 2022 when she was only 24. I'd give anything to see her just once more...
Good reaction to a classic. Btw, per what you said at the 15:32 minute mark, that's not how it works here in the USA. Under the US Constitution, the police cannot just detain and bring in someone for questioning without due cause. Therefore, Molly couldn't just walk into a police station and compel the police to "bring this or that person in for questioning" because a psychic told her that the person was involved in the crime. Detaining, arresting, and questioning that person would all be thrown out in court anyway, since the government violated that person's Constitutional Rights under the US Constitution AND in this case also the New York State Constitution.
Fun fact: The studio originally didn't want to cast Whoopi Goldberg as Oda Mae, but Patrick Swayze refused to appear in the film unless Whoopi was in it.
4:16 "You know, a movie is going to be good when you see a sex scene in the first 15min of it."
Dasha never fails.✌
That $4.2 million they pulled out of the bank would be equivalent to $10 million today
9:45 "Okay. Is he, somehow, connected to the guy who _did_ help, who is helping Molly, right now? You know?"
😯Oh my gosh. Dasha, it impresses me _very much_ whenever I see a reactor have _this_ kind of insight. As I recall, I didn't connect the two until one of them dropped _in_ on the other.
A classic for good reason. Such a roller coaster of feelings in the beginning!
Damn i didnt know the poster gave the entire movie away with the "Sam dies" comment. This is one of my favorites since it came out.
That he dies isn't the "twist".
Dasha said "suck it" and didnt do the "thats what she said" joke 😂 I'm proud of her. Also yes! 😂😂😂 I got to feed. I also feel the same way after watching romantic movies
6:03 will forever be one of my favorite Dasha moments 🤣 She's so passionate that she cannot even seem to get the words out and it is just too adorable!
This face, with these eyelashes…😂🤣
"This movie is Tragically Romantic"... The foundation of many popular Russian Love Stories.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Dasha so disgusted with someone before. 😊😂
‘I’m applauding with all … both of my hands!’
Yeah, that tickled me.
She's very self-conscious about the third hand on her back.
No need to call her out... 😜
Dasha confirmed for squid person
That definitely isn't true about the brace position for plane crashes. The position is based on research to increase survivability or reduce injuries as much as possible. Airlines have a vested interest in passenger safety to avoid costly lawsuits and maintain their reputation. Leaning forward and putting your hands over your head is meant to keep your head low, shielded and steady. The position also prevents you from sliding out of your seat belt.
It's easier to avoid lawsuits if the victims are dead..even if people survive the family they will sue
@@itsianman Thats bullshit. And Im a lawyer with 30 years practising. Its a consporacy theory that stupid people - including you - are spreading. And you should stop it because its dangerous.
In "Next of Kin", Patrick Swayze's hillbilly fam fights against Chicago mob in Kentucky, with uncle Liam Neeson & versus Ben Stiller in his first serious movie as Mafioso. Hellbillies at their best!
"You know a movie's going to be good if there's a sex scene in the first 15 minutes of it."
Not necessarily, Dasha. I'm not aware of many pornos winning Oscars. 😂
They have sex scenes in the first 3 minutes, so they are out of the equation.
Also "good" doesn't mean award winning, just entertaining.
@@Cheepchipsable No one watches a porno for the plot. That'd be like eating a pizza for your daily fiber.
You obviously haven't seen "Midnight Cowboy". Though not exactly today's definition of porno, but it was X-rated... and it did win the Oscar for Best Picture.
@@earthien I haven't seen it, but I know what its about. How far into the movie did Jon Voight have his first sex scene?
@@earthien Fair point! I watched that for a film class in college!
Roller Coaster of Emotions. That's the way I've always described this movie. Seen it probably a dozen times or more since it came out and have laughed and cried each time. Probably one of my all time favorite movies!
LOL! Dasha said, "Sssssuck it." That caught me off guard.
Dasha has a little bit of a dirty mind…and I like it! 😂😂
"you gotta take all your emotions. All your anger, all your love, all your hate and push it way down here into the pit of your stomach and let it explode like a reactor: POW!" one of my favorite movie quotes : ).
Yup, I got a little teary eyes near the end there. Keep up the amazing reacts Dasha.
I'm wondering why the "set" is so dark lately. I watched the intro to the first video when the set change to darkness but nothing was mentioned about why. Could someone tell me if the set will go back to being a bright happy place instead of this dark dungeon set?
On her patreon she said this is her new set up, she is still working on lighting techniques for better lighting but this is her set up that she is sticking with but always trying to update. I agree the lighting could be better here but no she won't be going back far as I know.
R.I.P To A Great Actor Patrick Swayze, Still Miss You Always 😢
Now, watch Patrick Swayze again in Point Break, Red Dawn & Roadhouse. More Action movies for you.
and Next of Kin, where Patrick's with his fam as a Kentucky hillbilly versus the mob out of Chicago.
And Next of Kin has Liam Neeson in it too! It's honestly the first movie I remember seeing Mr. Neeson in. Next of Kin also has Andres Katsulas, one of my favorite character actors of all time.
@@RLKmedic0315 Yes! And Ben Stiller's first serious role as Mafioso.
😒Unfortunate that such a major spoiler is found in the words on the poster.
It’s too bad I feel like that line on the movie poster gave away a bit too much of the plot. You shouldn’t have to worry about spoilers from the poster or the trailer. I don’t know why they used to do that
My guess would be that they felt they had to do that because the name Ghost was generic. They wanted to distance themselves from the typical kind of movie you'd associate with that name such as a thriller or horror movie. The only way I can figure you do that is to give the basic premise to people up front.
31:14 "Can she open? Can- Can he open?"
It's not Sam's nature to go against Molly's wishes. In his world, that door does not open for Oda Mae until _Molly_ decides to open it.
@26:12 "well.... suck it!" was my favorite Dasha comment from the whole reaction.
Dasha, for another “afterlife” story, check out “What Dreams May Come” with Robin Williams and Cuba Gooding, Jr. . Bring lots of tissues!
6:05 ...Geez, Dash... You sound like a pro-wrestling hardcore fan... USE THE CHAIR, USE THE CHAIR🤣🤣🤣
your never alone Dasha........
i haven't seen Hugo in a couple videos.
more Hugo, por favor. 🐶
He recently showed up in her game of thrones react for this week for a couple seconds to check on her 😊
@@ThatMrBaldamort well, you know who's a patreon subscriber. 😉
@YoureMrLebowski havnt seen you show up in a while over there, her GoT reacts are the best 👌
Now you can watch Naked Gun 2 1/2
Maybe one of the best bad guy reveals of all time. And defo Whoopi's finest hour (that bank scene kills me !)
I think it’s okay to call Sam Molly’s husband. Sure, they weren’t married LEGALLY but their relationship was as pure and true as that between any husband and wife. I loved your reaction, Dasha. Also, thank you for teaching me to say “welcome” in Russian after watching a ton of your videos over the past two years!
34:40. “She’s the hero”. And if memory serves, Whoopi Goldberg won an Academy Award for her performance as Oda Mae.
Thank you Dasha, for reacting to Ghost, it's my favorite Patrick Swayze film!!👻🎞
Molly was hot and bothered when he accidentally spilled that coffee and had to dry his shirt. It would have been a great night of passion were it not for those meddling ghosts.
As frar as I know they tell you to get in that position. when a plane is going to crash so that you're braced for impact and your head is less likely to get injured.
They get people to do it in situations where there is a good chance of survival so I don't think it's meant to cause a quick death, but I might have been misled.
Great movie and reaction just wish there was a little bit more but I understand the YT regs. Nice to see this movie can still evoke all kinds of emotions, from love, to hate to sadness to depression to joy and revenge! You went through the whole range in this movie! Thanks for sharing Dasha ❤️💛
Airplane death thing you said: not true. The reason for lowering your face down is first to protect your face so you are not blind or bleeding from your face because flying debris, and second if your airplane hits hard in the front your spine can take the hit better than if you wiplash your head and hit your face with the seat in front of you and break your neck with the force. Pro tip: if you are in this sitiation take, off your jacket, put it over your head and bend forward assuming the position, and ensure you separate your chins from the seat in front of you.
Hi Dasha!😊 You do have the appropriate lighting for a film called Ghost.😉😱 They did parody that making the vase thing in the "Naked Gun" film. This is considered a classic ghost story. Probably if the film was made today they would not make Carl look so sketchy. The guy on the train committed suicide. That is why he seems so angry and tormented. If he moved on, he might go to the bad place. Another good Whoopi Goldberg comedy is "Sister Act" (1992) or "Jumpin' Jack Flash" (1986). You should check one out sometime. Great reactions to the well made film Ghost, Dasha!!!!🎬👏👏👏👏
Great seeing you watch this.
The emotional parts of this are so well written and played. It always hits.
Hi, watching you from Brazil ❤
Glad to see you enjoy another classic! R.I.P. Patrick Swayze.
Hoisting that angel statue up through the window has to be a nod to the opening of Federico Fellini's: "La Dolce Vita" (1960).
Can't she keep $100,000? I love that reaction.
Well giving it away didn't keep her safe, did it.
24:30 he looked at Whoopi's whoppers!
I am seeing a different set up behind you and where is your dog?
There's another movie that is similar but a little better written if you ask me called "Always" that I think you'd like.
That is some incredibly big spoilers on the cover/poster of the movie... wtf May as well give away the whole plot of the movie
It is true that you are told to lean forward when an airplane is in danger of crashing, but I don't think it's to ensure a quick de*th. It's because that's the best position to be in when the impact happens. Your head will be close to the seat in front of you already, so you won't slam into it as hard when the impact happens. And if your head is down you won't get hit by stuff that's flying around.
Next film with Patrick Swayze should be Point Break. The film also stars Keanu Reeves.
Also next film with Demi Moore should be A Few Good Men which also stars Tom Cruise.
Also its ok to be single, eventually we all find the right person. No rush.
Whoopi won an Academy Award for this role.
When even a person so incredible as you can be single and feel lonely, really goes to show none of us are safe from that feeling 😢
17:10 "Aren't the police even a _little_ bit obligated to check it?"
Yeah. And they've got _no_ grounds to be suspicious of the woman telling Molly to reach out to _them._ If she were trying to hide something, that's the _last_ thing she would do.
0:51 "how is that sexual? i have no idea."
you're going to find out. 🥰
Fun fact: Bruce Willis (Demi Moore's ex-husband) was among those considered for the role of Sam but rejected it (believing the film wouldn't be a success), much to his regret. Nine years later, he would play a ghost in the hit movie 'The Sixth Sense'.
"Ooooooooh, he is NOT alive." 😂
4:35 ..."How long was the song? Or was it very short ha ha"... The song is called "Unchained Melody" and in it's studio version, it last 3 minutes 36 seconds... which is waaaaay more than a average guy can last...
Demmi Moore's best romantic movies -beside "Ghost"- are "St. Elmo's Fire" and "Indecent Proposal", imho. Please give wide berth to "Striptease".
Oh Dasha! 😅 14:31 “omg, I’m going to be crying through the whole movie, aren’t I” it’s ok 👍🏼 😁
22:47 The first time I saw that movie, I laughed about this moment, when Whoopi forgot she couldn't see Sam
What's interesting is that several theatres gave out free Kleenexes when it came out due to the anticipation of audiences weeping.
“Ditto”
This is such a beautiful film. Interesting concept of the afterlife. Another movie featuring ghosts, Heart & Souls, is a very lighthearted movie starring Robert Downey Jr.
As a mum of two I wanted to give you a hug a few times during this.... keep doing what you're doing
Dasha, you're in trouble girl.
In regards to the brace position, Dasha, it's absolutely a myth that it kills you. And it's been proven that it's the safest position, that's why it was implemented.
While we're on the subject: You need to watch the movie Sully with Tom Hanks. It's a good one, a true story about a plane crashing on a river. They show the moment of impact with everyone bracing.
28:01 "Oh. This is gonna scare him, too."
Yeah. Now consider, if you were seeing this from _Carl's_ perspective, it would be a ghost story. But, instead, you're seeing it from _Sam's_ so it's an action/comedy/drama.
Good to see you in such great form Dynamic Dasha. I like this movie a lot despite the ridiculous premise - comedy, romance, drama. supernatural fantasy, suspense, even a touch of horror. It's all here. Whoopi Goldberg was great support, of course. but a shout-out must go to Tony Goldwyn for an outstanding performance as the devious, panic-stricken Carl. RIP Patrick Swayze
Beautiful reaction. I'm surprised more reactors haven't done this
It's ok to cry Dasha ❤
Kinda bittersweet for me to watch too. This was one of me and my ex's movies. She was thenoje that got away. After years and years, I still feel like I love her, and that I fumbled things with her.

A Patrick Swayze movie you would absolutely love is Dirty Dancing!
This is one of my mom's favorite movies and a sad one too, cool reaction as Dasha, you take care sweetie
Dasha I believe you should definitely watch/react to "The Count of Monte Cristo" starring Jim Caviezel . I think you will LOVE it. It has adventure, revenge, romance, etc but be prepared to cry several times.
Priviet Dasha. One of my favorite movies, Patrick's best in my opinion. Whoopi was great as the comedic relief. This had all the elements to make it a great film.
Hi Dasha wonderful reaction. I never thought of this but they know the guy who killed him they saw him and should she should have been able to identify him. But just because he doesn't have a criminal record they won't follow up on it? Well... okay just go with the flow of the movie. It's still a favorite of mine, and it is a roller-coaster of emotions. Especially for me at this time when I lost the lady that raised me my great-grandmother in 1990 before this movie came out. The demons coming for the evil men, just mentioning it because it's demons not devils though of course I knew what you meant.
"You know what the movie is going to be good if you see a sex scene in the first 15 minutes of it." If that's the case, you are going to LOVE "The Room (2003)"!
Ditto
As soon as I saw the thumbnail, I call dasha crying hard.
I got kinda sad when you said you are single. I wish you the best of luck finding love. You look beautiful inside and out. You deserve the best.
You need to watch The Outsiders (1983) directors cut cause I think you'd absolutely love it
Good Movie and Great Reaction !!!! Thank You Dasha
You know what Dasha; you're a very smart girl, you have a brain in your shoulders!
Looks like they are playing with Doodoo. It’s hard to believe a beautiful woman like yourself is alone.
Keep up the great work Dasha!
Dasha, Tyler Durden clearly explained the truth about the " bracing for impact" position in the event of a plane about to crash. Silly rabbit. 😚
5:05 "The girl has balls."
What?! NOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooo........!!! 😱 😆 😆
Reminding me of 'Team America' where the terrorist answers back "I like balls" 😄
Great reaction, love this movie, thanks❤
❤
The actor who played WIllie Lopez actually died of AIDS about 5 years after this movie came out.
He was also featured in "Stephen King's The Stand" (mini-series) and his final film "Waterworld".
ON A PLANE you put your head as close to you lap as possible because if your head is up, you could be Decapitated, or the stress of being thrown forward could break your neck.
