I’m a 62-year-old guy from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and this is perfect. My cardiologist is ecstatic with the results from doing this for a while. I had heart surgery two years ago. I feel better now the nice ever felt in my life. Keep the videos going especially for us older guys. Thank you.
I love the sport orientated training this has. Alot of spin classes feel like an aerobics class. But this had me in a mindset of being out on the road, and in a race. Bloody loved it!

Last year I had a open triple A operation I now have a plastic Aorta and 4 op’s on one of my kidneys the GCN workout videos have got me fit again my bike is old and worn out but then so am I but at 68 I can’t complain. thank you

1. Beware of the trap that comes 5 minutes before the end. High cadence stuff for a few minutes. Make sure you aren't already dead by the time you get there. 2. The last interval is more 38-ish, the music suggests that as well as the instructor's cadence (contrary to the graphics on screen). I recommend getting into the hardest gear and pushing at least 300W. Otherwise it won't feel like a steep climb (I'm doing this on a turbomuin with 54-12). 3. Just for fun, try doing this workout Pantani-style whenever there is hand position 3 w/ continuous in and out of the saddle. I've been doing this workout 3 times/week for about 3 months now, usually as part two of a super set following another of your sessions. Very effective indeed. I used to race in a team, but I've never come through the winter as fit as I have now. Big thanks to GCN.
Did this workout for the first time today. It was great. I really like the reminders about form. It's so easy to start slouching. I felt a real difference in my workout because of the frequen reminders to keep my shoulders down, chest up & core tight. This is definitely on my regular routine now!
By far the best cycling video I’ve found. Great instructor, amazing vibe from the cyclists, and a pumping playlist to keep you moving. I literally smile throughout the entire video and it’s the fastest 30 minutes in my day! 💕
I love out-of-the-saddle work! Hills are where one can catch, demoralize, and crush other cyclists! This kind of training makes those little victories possible. The world needs more training videos similar to this one. Thank you!
Thoroughly brutal but really enjoyable! I do this workout every week. GCN you've helped me lose one and a half stone since having my third child. I haven't cycled since my teens when I was semi-pro and this channel has been such a blessing to getting back on my bike. I can now smash a ride in the Chiltern hills! Thankyou!!
As someone whos been following GCN exclusively for my spin bike workout for the last 1.5 years, this video is my favourite. Reasons being: -no matter what type of effort level i can put in, this one makes me sweat the most - with the music matched to the cadence, theres no guessing if you are off on cadence effort. - the music is well matched for this workout. Beat really helps with effort and timing, and effort moods.

I’m from Montreal and I must say I am enjoying this work out regularly. I saved this work out and this is the only one that I do. I’m on a challenge with my sister who could lose 20 pounds in three months. I lost 13 pounds so far and this workout is part of my every day life. I’m just getting back into my workouts. Today my bow flex bike says I burned 366 calories, my apple watch calculated 208 active 255 total calories and average BPM 151. My main goal is health, I’m over 50 years old, female. Any suggestions for my workout to make sure I am actively engaged? Would like to see myself increase in time. My brother did the same thing but with a variety of gcn workouts, the result: he lost a ton of weight and gained tremendous fitness
