    I love how Hades is pretty much the exact same in demeanour, but with Melinoe he’s somewhat more inquisitive, most likely due to how much he missed her and is trying to make up for some of the lost time. He pre-faces his question with “senseless curiosity” because ofc its Hades and he wasnt always one for small talk, but he’s making that effort not only because he cares about how his house is looking but to also just talk with his daughter. Usually when its him and Zag, its always Zag asking questions, Hades answers grumpily, Zag responds, and then Hades yells angrily😂

      He tries to be like this with Zagreus during the endgame, having recognized how MASSIVELY he f^cked up with raising Zagreus, and that he essentially wasted the chance The Fates gave him to be a father the first time around.
      With Melinoe, it’s been some time past the end game, and I like to think that he and Zagreus *did* eventually heal that rift between them. He’s had practice to come this long with with his children, and then they were taken from him.
      He’s lost, but hopefully, hasn’t given up.

    • @MrBern-ex3wq
      @MrBern-ex3wq 7 месяцев назад +13

      I think he might have also been learning how to be a better father from Zag and Persephone before Chronos reformed and broke out. So he's striving to make them proud and not repeat the same mistakes he made with Zagreus while interacting with Melinoë.

      So I googled what the egyptian deity of time is and this kronos matches the description. Geb looks alot like this, including his scepter.

    • @OberonKin
      @OberonKin 7 месяцев назад +12

      @@thingthing978ok, so....
      Kinda
      Geb is the Equivalent because he is the father of numerous gods, but this Greek syncrotism at play.
      Geb is the god of the earth, his wife is the goddess of the sky, Nut. Something Cronus already doesn't have.
      Not to mention, geb isn't even a god of time, that would more go to Thoth,heh, or hauhet.
      Even further, these aren't even gods of time, heh and hauhet are representations of Limitless time and Long Life respectively.
      ALSO, Cronus and Cronos, or Kronus and Kronos if you're using actual spellings, are theorized to be 2 different gods anyway. SGG took a few liberties, as they do, with the mythology, combining the 2 together.
      One last thing, his design is SHOCKINGLY smart, given the fact that her has cracks all throughout his body, which is because he was fragmented then cast into tartarus.
      So, to summarize, and Egyptian god design, not really. Is he equivalent to geb, not really.
      Does he still look awesome, absolutely
