if you think about it, with the camera mode thingy for the new patch being worked on, they COULD end up fixing things like ceilings being non existent (the ones Moonrise Towers for example) because of the new camera angles that the camera would let us have, so it really would "only" be needed for the camera aspect of it to be fixed. (and tbh even with adding new assets to the ingame world being nigh impossible apparently, a small team could realistically come together to try if they were passionate enough, even with the nightmare that would be creating all the needed assets
I've never noticed the "Gortash AI art" before but it's now my headcanon that this is the only image of him the Narrator has ever seen and that's why she describes him like that lmao.
There's a whooooooole bunch of copies of that poster in the basement of the Gazette. Like, Gortash is forcing them to print a bunch of those portraits and then they're plastered all over the city. I take a lot of joy in ripping them all down.
Personally, since the description came from the Elder Brain itself, I believe it's from back when he was still in the Elder Brain's colony, like at least before Karlach was sent to Zariel, so that would be at least a decade younger, and considering that I have Gortash as being in his late 30's to early 40's max, age wise that tracks, and I believe he was genuinely handsome when younger (I mean, he currently doesn't look ugly, just worn down, Bane worship probably took a toll on him). I believe this description used to reflect him, it's just that it has never been update to specify that he's now middle aged
You can slightly see them if you're in dialogue with an NPC, but that's about it. They did a lot of work for something you don't see 99% of the time though ur right
This is cool. I would also recommend the facial animations mod, since you're up close and personal so often you'll notice the lack of facial animation. The mod works great and makes everyone use natural looking facial animations when you would expect (combat, idle, etc)
