Sun Valley and Ketchum are actually kind of smack dab in the middle of the southern half of the state. Coeur d’Alene and Kootenai County are in the panhandle and about 7-8 hours north of SV!
@@Locate208 Thank you for replying, North Idaho Lindsay! I romantize Idaho, and especially Ketchum/Sun Valley, because Hemingway (and Mary) spent his last few years there. As great as Idaho might be, the gruff Republicanism is not really my taste, so I'd probably choose New Mexico.
@@erichottel7783 I understand the views you have about the Sun Valley area. It’s really gorgeous in that part of the state! I encourage you to come visit both the Sun Valley and Coeur d’Alene areas. You won’t regret it!
@@Locate208 Between New Mexico and Idaho, I think I'd choose NM. One reason is that it is largely Democrat, unlike Idaho. The air in NM is great, as is the skiing at Taos Ski Valley. I was thinking about Reno, NV for a while.
There are no cities in Idaho, trust me. I've been around the world and I've seen what cities look like. Boise is a small town surrounded by few suburbs (breading ground for Karens), but still it's not a real city.
Yes, we have no major urban areas in Idaho. The entire population of our state is less than 45% of the population of the entire Seattle metro area! But different strokes for different folks I guess! Some people love the big cities, some people prefer the smaller communities!
Just don’t move to north Idaho if you have kids. Education is ranked 38 and only going to get worse. They are not investing into education cause it’s to woke. They are not getting much for grants and will be going down to 4 day school weeks. And with all the new growth they are not adding classrooms in fact they recently shut down a school. If you home school then it shouldn’t be a problem.
