I promise you'll instantly regret it if you give even an inch of ground on this. GOD demands perfection in this regard. Jesus said: Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. *_Step 3)_* Don't put yourself in a place to be tempted. You will always be tempted by even the most stupid and innocent things. For example: I can't listen to certain types of music anymore because it triggers an attack. It goes without saying, be careful of what you watch on TV and movies. There's a lot of non-porn stuff I loved watching, I can't look at anymore. If what you're watching something that triggers an attack, turn it off and go play a game or something. If you see an attractive woman in public or at work, look away immediately and focus on something else. You'll always be drawn to porn, but GOD will give you the strength to overcome the attacks. Just don't willingly walk into known traps. *_Step 4)_* Above all, know GOD loves you more than you could ever imagine and everything HE does is for your own good. Never forget that. Know that HE will bring you through this, but it could be difficult. Just keep taking it one day at a time and know that's not you anymore. You have to commit to the understanding, you love GOD more than this filthy habit. I'm free today because of Jesus, and through Him you can be as well. You may fall throughout this journey, but GOD won't leave you behind. Know the old man in you is dead, and you are a new creation in Christ. If you fall, you must get up and try harder. Never give up.GOD won't let you quit. Trust in HIM and keep moving forward. May GOD bless and protect during this trial. I don't know you, but I know GOD. I hope this helps. So get this right. Earlier I watched porn and did other things. Felt so much regret afterwards a cried and I prayed. I begged God to hear my prayers. Then a while later I read my Bible. I read proverbs 7. Then I found this video an hour later. ABOUT PROVERS 7. Guess God was listening.

You are so right because I’m trying to break my repetitive addiction to porn and masturbation it is so hard not to do it while watching it and is hard to keep my mind off of watching it. Because I listen to R&B and rap music that talks about a lot of sexual stuff and I know I know I need to stop listening to that too but it’s what I’ve been listening to all my life because of my being around my older brother who got me listening to secular music, not trying to blame it on him but I’m just saying I grew up hearing a lot of of secular music. I just hope that when I pray to God all the time I he will hear me and help break my addiction to porn because I am not trying to die in my sins 😞 and end up burning in hell. Hi Queen, there's no sin Jesus hasn't paid the price for therefore it means he can deliver you from even that which is so hard for you to let go. Firstly you need to accept Him as your Lord and Savior( if you have not done so already). After this, He will baptize you with His Holy Spirit, who will lead you in all truth and will teach you how to live right. I am speaking from personal experience so i know it's possible.
@@Mr_Mack88 God has made every provision you need to be freely available to you but you have to take it in your strides and do things differently. Repentance means changing the way you think, same with your actions. You have to stop listening to all the things that feed your old man eg RnB and rap music and also such things that talk about sex etc. Read what the bible says in Titus 2:11-12 11 God has shown us clearly how very kind he is. He has come to save all people. 12 Because God is kind, he teaches us to stop living in a bad way. We no longer do the bad things that do not make God happy. We turn away from the bad things that belong to this world. God teaches us to control ourselves wisely while we live in this world. He teaches us to do what is right. He teaches us to please him in the way that we live.
One of the ways to stop yielding is never fantasize on anything impure. If you see yourself visualising, creating images in your mind and thinking about sex then the devil has got you. When ever you see these thoughts coming into your mind make sure you cut them off the very second they start. Remember all sin begins in the mind so make sure you guard your mind as well, don't give room for the enemy to tempt you. However soon after this you run to prayer unto Jesus. I believe you have to walk away from all porn sites, and everything that spurs you on, yes you need prayer ie you need to be delivered but if you don't walk away from it the demons will return. Jesus said in Matthew 12: 43 “When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. 44Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. 45Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”
If you're struggling with lust you're not alone, I was snared by Satan long ago and he had me in a Stranglehold, where I thought I would never Break Free oh, but I found a way... after you have fallen into sexual sin, write it all down on your phone... how horrible dirty and ashamed you feel, how you wish to God you didn't mess up again, how you never want to feel this low again... Next time Satan tempts you, look at your phone, look at your own words that you wrote... admit the truth so you won't suffer the consequences of falling into sin again. See, when Satan tempts you he blocks out your memory so you don't remember how awful you felt the last time but you outsmart him cuz you have it written down... also, you have to train yourself to look away from Attractive people because your flesh is too weak to avoid that kind of Temptation, your eyes are the gateway to your soul and there are some things you just can't handle.. pray to the Holy Spirit to renew your thoughts, he will replace your selfish desires with new desires that are pleasing to our Heavenly Father... I wouldn't dare mess up again oh, I know better than to go down that path cuz I know exactly what to expect if I fall into sin and it definitely isn't worth all the pain... I can feel that snare loosening up, as I break free from it's horrible sin, stay strong and God bless

I've been there and I have some long term effects. I asked God to eventually send me the right one where I would do things right this time. He warned us, but being young I built it up different than it really was. I pray for others in the same situation.

Ladies listen up, if your already an 8-10 don’t bother being sexy like the women of the world! My biggest concern is, tho not perfect that I’d keep away from comprising situations. Starting by eliminating all fantasies about men beginning in your mind! Don’t bother dressing provocative just look homely and simple as possible it’s not worth the unwanted flattery and attention. Don’t cook for anyone but yourself or your children if you have them. Or you will learn quickly the effects of sharing your home cooked goodness with unassuming men by being lightly stalked and heavily harassed for more food, some nurturing and of course sexual favors, all without a ring! Please wear no perfumes to smell good or please the senses of yourself or others! Keep all that good hygiene to the married, protected women and ladies of the night! Be mindful to do all these things often as protection for yourselves from undisciplined menfolk who are already to scared to respectfully approach or appreciate a women who looks, smells, cooks or presents herself as an actual wholesome and attractive lady! I have yet the same issue and it's not a strong hold. But nonetheless I can't go passed 3 days from urging to look at porn, I have a 7 day challenge to fight against it and I can't even pass 3 days...so it's stronger than I make it out to be...did you overcome it? If so...what can you offer as advice.
The Lord worked in me to repent of sexual sins and the hardest of all: self manipulation. I give God the glory. He worked in me to want to repent and He worked it out in my life. Glory to His name.

Everyone that finds themselves going through this... be encouraged. I think we need to understand that sex is not just something we do with our bodies, but also our mind and our spirit. That is why a person can be abstinent (not physically having sex) but still struggle with lust in their mind and heart. There is a verse that says to "make no provision for the flesh" Romans 13:14 and another that says we should "flee from sexual immorality." But I think our problem is that we like to linger around it. We want to get as close to the edge of that cliff as possible. So let's apply that practically... are we putting ourselves in compromising positions? Are we visiting questionable websites or thinking unwholesome thoughts? What's in our hearts? It's especially tough for divorcees like me who have sexual memories of my ex husband. Eight years apart...and those memories still haven't gone away completely. But I love God and I trust Him. He knows me...inside an out. He knows my desires, but He also knows the plans he has for me. And His purpose is more important than my desires.
I'm not going through it because I refuse to think about or have sex with anybody, there are literally a million other things that we as human beings could be doing and thinking about besides sex, go bowling, go hiking, go swimming, go camping, go fishing, go out to eat, go catch a movie, hold hands, sit in the park and talk, go to a church service, learn a trade, go to an amusement park, ect, sex isn't the end-all be-all of the entire world
I think we are "all" guilty of this particular sin, "LUST" is so difficult to overcome, regardless of will power, doctrine, etc. Good video brother, good biblical advice.

As soon as I think I have a handle on it I fall. Pray for me please 😞 I’m very grateful and thankful that other struggles I’ve had in my life the Lord has freed me from them. Somethings took years and some months. This is really my biggest struggle. I’m 34 and divorced. I’m trying my best to do it differently this time. God has been good.

The key is to genuinely repent. You need to come into 100% agreement with God about how you want to walk with Him going forward. Sin is evil. Sin makes you a criminal in God's sight. Yet, He is ready to forgive you as soon as you approach Him with a humble and repentant heart, like the prodigal son who came back to his senses and returned to his father (Luke 15:11-24). It's not only forgiveness from past sins that you get, but victory over sin, so that your life isn't ruled and ultimately ruined by sin. You need to repent to take part of this Good News! Jesus' heart rests in mine the Bible says “we are not saved by our good deeds but according to his mercy. ( some of Titus 3:5) and Romans 10:9 says If we confess that Jesus is lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you WILL be saved.

Thanks Allen! Again, very helpful video. I’ve fallen so many times into many types of sexual sin. Sexual sin, for me, was a secret. I’ve come back to the Lord recently and I feel like I’m in the battle alone. I feel I’ll be judged if I talk about my own temptations. We need to confess our sins to one another and pray for one another so that we may be healed… But know that God’s doing a miraculous work in my life at all angles! The more I focus on him, the more focused I am on the prize, running the race. I’ve lived a bisexual lifestyle for many years, secret from my family and a lot of other people who know me. I’ve decided to live a life of abstinence and have made my peace with it. We’re in the battlefield every day. We must put on our full armor of God if we expect to have any type of victory. God is doing an amazing work in my life as I lay my body on the alter as a living sacrifice. Wow! Pray that I may find other believers that I can talk to. Taking about my temptations can really take the power out of some of my struggles. I’ve overcome many things as of recently- gluttony, lust, finances, smoking weed (yes, I said it)… it’s a work the Lord’s doing on the inside. I’m incapable of doing anything of these things, but with God, all things are possible! It’s all about his grace and mercy that sustain me every day. These times are scary, so we must be diligent and not be discouraged. Keep those videos coming-- they could very well save someone’s life! Amen.

Make sure you approach God the way He expects you to with the right mindset. Prayers work together with what you need to have a resolve to do yourself. You must submit to God. That is essential: James 4:7-8 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. That's what your attitude needs to be when you are going through the process of *repentance* and committing to be obedient to God for the rest of your life (that's the kind of "change of mind" God wants to see). You must sincerely regret having sinned against God, and come to the point of hearing and agreeing 100% with Jesus' message saying, "I do not condemn you, now go and don't sin anymore" (John 8:11). Your obedience as you choose to follow God's ways is key--that's how you show your faith to God (John 3:36, Luke 6:46, Hebrews 3:17-18). That opens the door to receiving his *forgiveness* for your past sins (2 Peter 1:9), *healing* (Luke 5:31-32), *freedom from sin/addictions* (John 8:34-36), and the gift of *a new life* that you will live for God and no longer for sin and the passing things of the world (Romans 6:4, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15). That is the salvation you must make sure you have experienced: freedom from sin (John 8:36, Romans 8:1-2) versus bondage to sin (John 8:34, Romans 7:23). Approaching God in genuine repentance will lead to you receiving the Holy Spirit to lead you to "walk by the Spirit" (Acts 2:38, Galatians 5:16)--with a pure heart and self-control, which is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Any habit that controls you reveals idolatry in your heart. You have to choose to be done with that and it will be part of your past. That's one thing that will come out of your commitment to be obedient to God for the rest of your life. Please see 1 Peter 4:1-3 and 1 Thessalonians 1:9. James 1:21-22 21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls [that's repentance]. 22 But be doers of the word [that's faith, which implies obedience], and not only hearers, deluding your own selves. Hebrews 5:9 And having been made perfect, He [Jesus] became the author of 👉 *eternal salvation to all those who obey Him [...].* Please stay in the word and obey it (James 1:21-22). The word of God is fuel for your faith. To live as a follower of Jesus you must go out of your way to put the word of God in your heart and keep it there, rejecting all distractions. It's a fight and that's how you need to stand to not fall down. The truth will set you free from all sin (John 8:31-32, 36).

You need to repent in the way that the Bible teaches it. That's the basis for forgiveness of sins already committed. But not only that, victory over the power of sin and freedom from sin, which is what salvation in Jesus is about (John 8:36, Romans 6:4-7, 14, 18). Around 4:00am in the morning, I always feel sex urge, but I switched my mind to possitive thoughts, but sometimes it keeps overwhelming my thoughts until I will play a Christian message or songs and then it will go away. Carry your cross daily and follow Jesus our master who overcame by carring his own cross and obeyed. Hell is more than 1000,000 times painful than sexual torment, only pray and fast for to conquer the spiritual forces that is remembering us to sin and takes us away from the power of our will.
This is very difficult. In this day and age where everything in the media is hyper-sexualized, I tend to step into it also because of curiosity. Thank you for this video, because sexual sin is tough to deal with especially when we are born as creatures with sexual desire.

Thank you, Allen. I read proverbs 7 over and over again and have never thought of it appealing to all other senses besides the visual. I’ve fallen for these traps as a young man and have lost a valuable relationship. I’ve always been oblivious to the snare of sexual sin until well... things happened. I was a lion in curving these situations, playing with the fire until I yielded. I pray God will protect all of us men from the destruction of sexual sin.
One thing that helps me is not putting myself in the moment or in that situation! Being tempted is not a sin is part of the Flesh in us but we must not engage into sin. Set boundaries and be discpline to stand by them. Phillipans 4:13 I can do all things through Christ Jesus which strengthen me. 🙏

Please be praying for me, I know thats a common post up here, but here's my situation... I'm a lucky, happily married man, a youth pastor, and am blessed to support my family working in a homeless ministry. However like most, this wasn't always the case. I've been into porn and masturbation most of my life, I'd say in one way shape or form since I was maybe 9 or 10. Later in life I got involved in a couple online sex communities through second life, never anything physical, just "sexting" with avatars. This year I've done better than I ever have in my life, but I've still slipped and stumbled. I've told my Wife about my struggles, and she's been nothing but supportive, but I want to, and even more so, NEED to do better for her. I can't keep living in degrees of sexual sin, no matter how "mild" by past comparisons they are. This coming year, I'm even thinking about going to some sort of rehab for it. However even before then, I wanna finish this year out strong. I want the Lord to make any sexual desire for anything other than my Wife, even any fantasy version of her I can dream up, seem unappealing to me. Anything that isn't her, JUST HER, to be repugnant to me. Brothers and Sisters, if you find time....please just cover me in prayer, the Lord and my Wife deserves better...
You don't need rehab. You only need Jesus. He is the way. Technically, it is your "self" that is in the way to the life God wants for you and that is pleasing to Him. So, Jesus says, "deny yourself" (Luke 9:23). That's taking the biggest obstacle to a godly life (your self-will) out of the way. You have the knowledge, but you need to put the word into practice (James 1:21-22). You need to submit to God and resist the devil and you will draw near to God and He will draw near to you (James 4:7-8). Love is powerful and your obedience to God is how you demonstrate your love for God (John 14:15). Jesus won't fail to deliver you fully from sin. The problem I find with all these videos and trust me I heard many of them is that they use scripture yet none of them promote the scripture of FEAR of God. I say with great sincerity that the only way to not sin which is through the Lord Yahusha is to Fear God. Yes God loves us but come on where is the fear of God. When we righteously fear we begin to act right. But if someone who has no fear of God righteously on their mind, being mindful of that righeous fear, they will mess up occassionally or all the time. God hates sin so present yourselves before God knowing he sees everything as instruments for righteousness and not sin. Regrettion (made up word) comes after what we did because the fear of God we now remember because lust took a hold of us blinding us from seeing the fear of God in our minds. You have to always know that you fear God and Love him, just as He hates sin but loves you and I testify to you that as a child of God you will not sin because you actually righteously fear God.

Hey Angie, I'm sorry about your problem and to be honest, I was also struggling with it. How I overcame it is by talking( praying) to God. God is your father, your friend and your God. There is nothing that you cannot talk to him about. He knows what happens and I'm sure he's happy that you want to remove yourself from that situation. When I feel like I can't talk to God i just remember that when God chose me, he saw all my shortcomings, sinful desires etc but he still chose me! Just as he chose you! Remember, he sent jesus to die for you. He say you and deemed you worthy of his own son's life. So please, take a step of faith, and talk to him. Also, I usually pray against those demons. I usually put a spiritual boundary around our home by praying against any demon that may plot against us in the name of Jesus. Try it, it works...the name of Jesus is powerful. I will also be praying for you.

I was reading Matthew and it was Jesus speaking and he said " bring to me your heavy yoke and I'll give you a light one". I would love to try it and see if I can conquer my issues. I never read the Bible as intently as this month and I never knew how God wasn't playing with unwanted pregnancy. I feel so much regret that I am a father now and I'm essentially tied to this lady for the rest of my life. I now need to have faith that God will provide me with exactly what I need to make her whole by marrying her despite not feeling like I can trust her. I have to grow up and kill the old me and everything I used to like about me for the sake of decipling my child. Currently I have a lot of regret in my heart and resent but I need to somehow believe that Jesus is enough and has rewarded me with enough. This too shall pass.

I’m 22 years of age, this is something I’ve experienced since I was 13. 7th grade specifically, but it wasn’t until the 11th grade that I knew it was actually a sin. I slipped up today. It goes without saying, be careful of what you watch on TV and movies. There's a lot of non-porn stuff I loved watching, I can't look at anymore. If what you're watching something that triggers an attack, turn it off and go play a game or something.
If you see an attractive woman in public or at work, look away immediately and focus on something else. You'll always be drawn to porn, but GOD will give you the strength to overcome the attacks. Just don't willingly walk into known traps.
*_Step 4)_* Above all, know GOD loves you more than you could ever imagine and everything HE does is for your own good. Never forget that. Know that HE will bring you through this, but it could be difficult. Just keep taking it one day at a time and know that's not you anymore.
You have to commit to the understanding, you love GOD more than this filthy habit. I'm free today because of Jesus, and through Him you can be as well. You may fall throughout this journey, but GOD won't leave you behind. Know the old man in you is dead, and you are a new creation in Christ. If you fall, you must get up and try harder. Never give up.GOD won't let you quit. Trust in HIM and keep moving forward.

Sexual sin is one of the WORSE things I suffer with . It’s truly not easy to be delivered from .
It takes a strong resolve and a commitment on your part to stop living for yourself and doing what pleases you to start living for God and doing what is pleasing to Him. That's repentance, the point where you "give your life to God" so to speak. When you are on the same page with God about any sin in your life that you know, that's when you will see his power at work to deliver you.

You are so right because I’m trying to break my repetitive addiction to porn and masturbation it is so hard not to do it while watching it and is hard to keep my mind off of watching it. Because I listen to R&B and rap music that talks about a lot of sexual stuff and I know I know I need to stop listening to that too but it’s what I’ve been listening to all my life because of my being around my older brother who got me listening to secular music, not trying to blame it on him but I’m just saying I grew up hearing a lot of of secular music. Hi Queen, there's no sin Jesus hasn't paid the price for therefore it means he can deliver you from even that which is so hard for you to let go. Firstly you need to accept Him as your Lord and Savior( if you have not done so already). After this, He will baptize you with His Holy Spirit, who will lead you in all truth and will teach you how to live right. I am speaking from personal experience so i know it's possible.

12 Because God is kind, he teaches us to stop living in a bad way.
We no longer do the bad things that do not make God happy. We turn away from the bad things that belong to this world. God teaches us to control ourselves wisely while we live in this world. He teaches us to do what is right. He teaches us to please him in the way that we live.
One of the ways to stop yielding is never fantasize on anything impure. If you see yourself visualising, creating images in your mind and thinking about sex then the devil has got you. When ever you see these thoughts coming into your mind make sure you cut them off the very second they start. Remember all sin begins in the mind so make sure you guard your mind as well, don't give room for the enemy to tempt you. However soon after this you run to prayer unto Jesus. I hope this helps someone.

If you're struggling with lust you're not alone, I was snared by Satan long ago and he had me in a Stranglehold, where I thought I would never Break Free oh, but I found a way... after you have fallen into sexual sin, write it all down on your phone... how horrible dirty and ashamed you feel, how you wish to God you didn't mess up again, how you never want to feel this low again... Next time Satan tempts you, look at your phone, look at your own words that you wrote... admit the truth so you won't suffer the consequences of falling into sin again. See, when Satan tempts you he blocks out your memory so you don't remember how awful you felt the last time but you outsmart him cuz you have it written down... also, you have to train yourself to look away from Attractive people because your flesh is too weak to avoid that kind of Temptation, your eyes are the gateway to your soul and there are some things you just can't handle.. pray to the Holy Spirit to renew your thoughts, he will replace your selfish desires with new desires that are pleasing to our Heavenly Father... I wouldn't dare mess up again oh, I know better than to go down that path cuz I know exactly what to expect if I fall into sin and it definitely isn't worth all the pain... I can feel that snare loosening up, as I break free from it's horrible sin, stay strong and God bless

Take some time to understand well the way you need to approach God. Your obedience to God out of love for God (John 14:15) is the key to your deliverance from any sin that you are bound in (Hebrews 5:9).

I have yet the same issue and it's not a strong hold. But nonetheless I can't go passed 3 days from urging to look at porn, I have a 7 day challenge to fight against it and I can't even pass 3 days...so it's stronger than I make it out to be...did you overcome it? Everyone that finds themselves going through this... be encouraged. I think we need to understand that sex is not just something we do with our bodies, but also our mind and our spirit. That is why a person can be abstinent (not physically having sex) but still struggle with lust in their mind and heart. There is a verse that says to "make no provision for the flesh" Romans 13:14 and another that says we should "flee from sexual immorality." But I think our problem is that we like to linger around it. We want to get as close to the edge of that cliff as possible. So let's apply that practically... are we putting ourselves in compromising positions? Are we visiting questionable websites or thinking unwholesome thoughts? What's in our hearts? It's especially tough for divorcees like me who have sexual memories of my ex husband. Eight years apart...and those memories still haven't gone away completely. But I love God and I trust Him. He knows me...inside an out. He knows my desires, but He also knows the plans he has for me. And His purpose is more important than my desires.
I'm not going through it because I refuse to think about or have sex with anybody, there are literally a million other things that we as human beings could be doing and thinking about besides sex, go bowling, go hiking, go swimming, go camping, go fishing, go out to eat, go catch a movie, hold hands, sit in the park and talk, go to a church service, learn a trade, go to an amusement park, ect, sex isn't the end-all be-all of the entire world

The key is to genuinely repent. You need to come into 100% agreement with God about how you want to walk with Him going forward. Sin is evil. Sin makes you a criminal in God's sight. Yet, He is ready to forgive you as soon as you approach Him with a humble and repentant heart, like the prodigal son who came back to his senses and returned to his father (Luke 15:11-24). It's not only forgiveness from past sins that you get, but victory over sin, so that your life isn't ruled and ultimately ruined by sin. You need to repent to take part of this Good News!

Jesus' heart rests in mine the Bible says “we are not saved by our good deeds but according to his mercy. ( some of Titus 3:5) and Romans 10:9 says If we confess that Jesus is lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you WILL be saved.

I’ve come back to the Lord recently and I feel like I’m in the battle alone. I feel I’ll be judged if I talk about my own temptations. We need to confess our sins to one another and pray for one another so that we may be healed… But know that God’s doing a miraculous work in my life at all angles! The more I focus on him, the more focused I am on the prize, running the race. I’ve lived a bisexual lifestyle for many years, secret from my family and a lot of other people who know me. I’ve decided to live a life of abstinence and have made my peace with it. We’re in the battlefield every day. We must put on our full armor of God if we expect to have any type of victory. God is doing an amazing work in my life as I lay my body on the alter as a living sacrifice. Wow! Pray that I may find other believers that I can talk to. Taking about my temptations can really take the power out of some of my struggles. I’ve overcome many things as of recently- gluttony, lust, finances, smoking weed (yes, I said it)… it’s a work the Lord’s doing on the inside. I’m incapable of doing anything of these things, but with God, all things are possible! It’s all about his grace and mercy that sustain me every day. These times are scary, so we must be diligent and not be discouraged. Keep those videos coming-- they could very well save someone’s life! Amen.

I feel like each different individual has different corrupt hearts and sinful desires that try to lead us away from the biggest blessing in our lives and in existence. I have been suffering with sexual sin for a ling time now and have been praying to the Lord for his help and his guidance. I really want to get myself straight and repent of my sin. Please keep me in prayer.
Make sure you approach God the way He expects you to with the right mindset. Prayers work together with what you need to have a resolve to do yourself.
You must submit to God. That is essential:
James 4:7-8
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
That's what your attitude needs to be when you are going through the process of *repentance* and committing to be obedient to God for the rest of your life (that's the kind of "change of mind" God wants to see). You must sincerely regret having sinned against God, and come to the point of hearing and agreeing 100% with Jesus' message saying, "I do not condemn you, now go and don't sin anymore" (John 8:11). Your obedience as you choose to follow God's ways is key--that's how you show your faith to God (John 3:36, Luke 6:46, Hebrews 3:17-18). That opens the door to receiving his *forgiveness* for your past sins (2 Peter 1:9), *healing* (Luke 5:31-32), *freedom from sin/addictions* (John 8:34-36), and the gift of *a new life* that you will live for God and no longer for sin and the passing things of the world (Romans 6:4, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15). That is the salvation you must make sure you have experienced: freedom from sin (John 8:36, Romans 8:1-2) versus bondage to sin (John 8:34, Romans 7:23).
Approaching God in genuine repentance will lead to you receiving the Holy Spirit to lead you to "walk by the Spirit" (Acts 2:38, Galatians 5:16)--with a pure heart and self-control, which is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Any habit that controls you reveals idolatry in your heart. You have to choose to be done with that and it will be part of your past. That's one thing that will come out of your commitment to be obedient to God for the rest of your life. Please see 1 Peter 4:1-3 and 1 Thessalonians 1:9.
James 1:21-22
21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls [that's repentance]. 22 But be doers of the word [that's faith, which implies obedience], and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.
Hebrews 5:9
And having been made perfect, He [Jesus] became the author of 👉 *eternal salvation to all those who obey Him [...].*
Please stay in the word and obey it (James 1:21-22). The word of God is fuel for your faith. To live as a follower of Jesus you must go out of your way to put the word of God in your heart and keep it there, rejecting all distractions. It's a fight and that's how you need to stand to not fall down. The truth will set you free from all sin (John 8:31-32, 36).
I literally felt Gods love and mercy, God keeps guiding me perfectly and I say YES! every time. Victory to us all let him guide u, listen to his voice

I deal with this same issue as well. I’ll be doing good slip up once and get trapped in a cycle
You need to repent in the way that the Bible teaches it. That's the basis for forgiveness of sins already committed. But not only that, victory over the power of sin and freedom from sin, which is what salvation in Jesus is about (John 8:36, Romans 6:4-7, 14, 18). Your obedience to God is the key to your deliverance from any sin that you are bound in.

Around 4:00am in the morning, I always feel sex urge, but I switched my mind to possitive thoughts, but sometimes it keeps overwhelming my thoughts until I will play a Christian message or songs and then it will go away. Carry your cross daily and follow Jesus our master who overcame by carring his own cross and obeyed. Hell is more than 1000,000 times painful than sexual torment, only pray and fast for to conquer the spiritual forces that is remembering us to sin and takes us away from the power of our will.
Even after failing and giving into sexual sin I still feel the peace and love of Jesus Christ he is amazing
This is very difficult. In this day and age where everything in the media is hyper-sexualized, I tend to step into it also because of curiosity. Thank you for this video, because sexual sin is tough to deal with especially when we are born as creatures with sexual desire.
Sexual desire is meant by God to facilitate or promote procreation in the best conditions, ideally, so that is not a sin in itself. But if you can recognize "lust" as a disorderly sexual desire, then total submission to God will always be the way you can consistently resist temptation to sin and pursue a path of doing God's will rather, and you will be pleasing Him as his grace empowers you to.
Submission to God is essential:
James 4:7-8
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. 👉 Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Then it helps to see the grace of God this way (an empowerment to live a godly life based on obedience to God):
Titus 2:11-14
11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people, 12 *instructing us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly desires, and to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age;* 13 looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ; 14 who gave himself for us, that he might *redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.*

Thank you, Allen. I read proverbs 7 over and over again and have never thought of it appealing to all other senses besides the visual. I’ve fallen for these traps as a young man and have lost a valuable relationship. I’ve always been oblivious to the snare of sexual sin until well... things happened. I was a lion in curving these situations, playing with the fire until I yielded. I pray God will protect all of us men from the destruction of sexual sin.

One thing that helps me is not putting myself in the moment or in that situation! Being tempted is not a sin is part of the Flesh in us but we must not engage into sin. Set boundaries and be discpline to stand by them. Phillipans 4:13 I can do all things through Christ Jesus which strengthen me. 🙏

Approaching God in genuine repentance will lead to you receiving the Holy Spirit to lead you to "walk by the Spirit" (Acts 2:38, Galatians 5:16)--with a pure heart and self-control, which is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Any habit that controls you reveals idolatry in your heart. You have to choose to be done with that and it will be part of your past. That's one thing that will come out of your commitment to be obedient to God for the rest of your life. Please see 1 Peter 4:1-3 and 1 Thessalonians 1:9.

21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls [that's repentance]. 22 But be doers of the word [that's faith, which implies obedience], and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.

Please be praying for me, I know thats a common post up here, but here's my situation...
I'm a lucky, happily married man, a youth pastor, and am blessed to support my family working in a homeless ministry. However like most, this wasn't always the case. I've been into porn and masturbation most of my life, I'd say in one way shape or form since I was maybe 9 or 10. Later in life I got involved in a couple online sex communities through second life, never anything physical, just "sexting" with avatars. This year I've done better than I ever have in my life, but I've still slipped and stumbled. I've told my Wife about my struggles, and she's been nothing but supportive, but I want to, and even more so, NEED to do better for her. I can't keep living in degrees of sexual sin, no matter how "mild" by past comparisons they are. This coming year, I'm even thinking about going to some sort of rehab for it. However even before then, I wanna finish this year out strong. I want the Lord to make any sexual desire for anything other than my Wife, even any fantasy version of her I can dream up, seem unappealing to me. Anything that isn't her, JUST HER, to be repugnant to me. Brothers and Sisters, if you find time....please just cover me in prayer, the Lord and my Wife deserves better...
You don't need rehab. You only need Jesus. He is the way. Technically, it is your "self" that is in the way to the life God wants for you and that is pleasing to Him. So, Jesus says, "deny yourself" (Luke 9:23). That's taking the biggest obstacle to a godly life (your self-will) out of the way. You have the knowledge, but you need to put the word into practice (James 1:21-22). You need to submit to God and resist the devil and you will draw near to God and He will draw near to you (James 4:7-8). Love is powerful and your obedience to God is how you demonstrate your love for God (John 14:15). Jesus won't fail to deliver you fully from sin. It's been some months already since you left this comment, but if you still need help, please see the video titled _Be Set Free From Sin_ on my channel. It will link you to a post with information that will help you overcome (Revelation 2:7).

We have to stand up to sin because the devil is trying to stop us from living the life God has for us.
The problem I find with all these videos and trust me I heard many of them is that they use scripture yet none of them promote the scripture of FEAR of God. I say with great sincerity that the only way to not sin which is through the Lord Yahusha is to Fear God. Yes God loves us but come on where is the fear of God. When we righteously fear we begin to act right. But if someone who has no fear of God righteously on their mind, being mindful of that righeous fear, they will mess up occassionally or all the time. God hates sin so present yourselves before God knowing he sees everything as instruments for righteousness and not sin. Regrettion (made up word) comes after what we did because the fear of God we now remember because lust took a hold of us blinding us from seeing the fear of God in our minds. You have to always know that you fear God and Love him, just as He hates sin but loves you and I testify to you that as a child of God you will not sin because you actually righteously fear God.
I’m not able to get to my local preacher, I’ve just recently began reading the bible, your channel is an amazing supplement. I’ve always had Christian values and morals and didn’t know it. You break down things really well.

My issue right now are sexual dreams. I’m good at rejecting people physically but the dreams kill me. It makes me think sinful thoughts and then I feel so guilty I feel like I can’t even pray. I don’t know what to do anymore
Hey Angie, I'm sorry about your problem and to be honest, I was also struggling with it. How I overcame it is by talking( praying) to God. God is your father, your friend and your God. There is nothing that you cannot talk to him about. He knows what happens and I'm sure he's happy that you want to remove yourself from that situation. When I feel like I can't talk to God i just remember that when God chose me, he saw all my shortcomings, sinful desires etc but he still chose me! Just as he chose you! Remember, he sent jesus to die for you. He say you and deemed you worthy of his own son's life. So please, take a step of faith, and talk to him. Also, I usually pray against those demons. I usually put a spiritual boundary around our home by praying against any demon that may plot against us in the name of Jesus. Try it, it works...the name of Jesus is powerful. I will also be praying for you.

Just keep fighting. Before Jesus left, he said that he will leave us with the spirit of God ( Holy spirit) and with it, I believe we can conquer anything. Almost every believer us battling sth. That's why the road to heaven is difficult, I'm also battling stuff and I pray I'll be able to defeat them. I was reading Matthew and it was Jesus speaking and he said " bring to me your heavy yoke and I'll give you a light one". I would love to try it and see if I can conquer my issues. All in all, I know God wants to see us both and every other believer, conquer their battle, Don't give up on the fight, just keep trying. A preacher once said, "progress over perfection" cause no human is perfect. So keep fighting. I wish there was a way I'd be able to talk to you more privately than this. Also, I look forward to meeting you in heaven. We will both make it 😃

I never read the Bible as intently as this month and I never knew how God wasn't playing with unwanted pregnancy. I feel so much regret that I am a father now and I'm essentially tied to this lady for the rest of my life. I now need to have faith that God will provide me with exactly what I need to make her whole by marrying her despite not feeling like I can trust her. I have to grow up and kill the old me and everything I used to like about me for the sake of decipling my child. Currently I have a lot of regret in my heart and resent but I need to somehow believe that Jesus is enough and has rewarded me with enough. This too shall pass.

Watching this on September 1st 2023. I’m 22 years of age, this is something I’ve experienced since I was 13. 7th grade specifically, but it wasn’t until the 11th grade that I knew it was actually a sin.
I slipped up today. I will re-watch this, bury these Bible Verses, deep in the treasure chest of my heart. It’s so crazy how the closer you’re tryna get to Jesus, the more satan attacks.
I will testify about overcoming pornography and masturbation.
