I struggled with this topic. I dated a Christian guy for like 10 years. We were young, the wait seemed very long compared to biblical times. We were so sure we were going to get married. We were finishing school and preparing to be financially secured etc. I at times didn't see the point of waiting if we were so sure. It ended up not working out. Now I can't tell you how grateful I am that I waited until I met my now husband at 29. To say he's been the only one. God is simply trying to protect us.
I had sex before marriage, and then I married someone else and we have been together for almost 30 years. It's been wonderful.

Being tempted isn't at all a sin. Giving in to those temptations is what is sinful. It's a really good thing if you can be tempted but fight those urges.
Fornication leads to: STDs, abortion(murder), emotional issues, violence, teen pregnancy which ruins lives, comprised relationships, fatherless children, and of course, HELL
So if those are the reasons, that means that the sex isn't the sin, it means that all those results are the sin. You can have one without the other, its just hard. You have to commit. You don't go to hell for having sex before marriage.

I'm sure for some. But I'm also sure some people would genuinely just like to know. Not everyone has been raised in Church, & obviously not everyone is a Christian. I don't think it's fair to assume everyone's motives to be shameful. Either way I feel our job as believers is to speak the truth about sin in love and point people to Christ. Not to put down or look down on anyone. Sexual immorality IS sin. But I feel to share the truth with others in condemnation of them is useless. Jesus picked up the prostitute & said "sin no more," but he didn't join the crowd or cast the stones. I'm not meaning to be mean or argumentative. I just feel alot of people are super turned off because of how they are sometimes treated when they have questions or look for answers. How can we help people if we can't even get passed judging their questions

Wow, that happened to me as well years back. I stopped having intercourse back in 2011, then in January 2014 I gave my life to the Lord and understood I needed to now FLEE FORNICATION, masturbation and porn - no longer just “stopped having sex”. 😊 😇
I am a 29 year old virgin... I decided back in high school that I was gonna wait until I am married to my husband to have sex... And this was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life... I am at peace because I never had to deal with the consequences of fornication (abortions, STDS, heartbreak, etc) and I am very clear minded... The Holy Bible is our life manual... There is a reason why it says to flee fornication and that the body is not for fornication.... But most people want to do what they want to do (which is the way of satan's kingdom) and not what God said to do (obedience is better than sacrifice in God's kingdom)...

Thats a blessing i wish i had of done that i grew up without my biological father and with a teen mom I suffered a lot of abuse with a clear knowing that my mom did not want me. My grandmother taught me about god but not enough and I didn’t do my due diligence to read the bible and understand so because of always longing for a loving family without turning to god and asking for one and having a relationship with god first , now fast forward i am a single mother of 5 kids god has had so much mercy on me and without any family god has proven he still loves me anyway and he provides for my children. I now have been reading the bible calling on god and i now understand that there are reasons he doesn’t want is to live certain ways because the consequences are the pain & suffering i am now in. But i know gods grace will one day grant me a loving husband that puts god first.

I’ve tried to wait until marriage😔. I was 20 when I fail. Thinking that my ex was going to possibly be my wife. I was wrong. If I would have waited just a little bit longer, my wife would have been my first. She was 19, and I was 20. We have the same similar story. We’re 36 years old now. 16 years together, and 10 years of marriage, with two blessings from God. We unfortunately had our daughter before marriage, oops🤷🏽♂️. Bottom line is, it’s very, very doable to wait. My wife is my second partner. And I’m praying that she will be my last. If God is in your relationship, you can do it.

The woman at the well was told she had many husbands because she had sexual intercourse with many men.
Biblical marriage has nothing to do with a ceremony and filling in paperwork.
People falsely interpret it this way because they are more concerned with ceremonial and legal aspect of today’s society.
Yet no where in the bible does it define marriage as a legal union but a spiritual union.

My fiancé and I have previously been married before and we both have children. The idea of not having sex before marriage when you already have can be difficult if you’re not doing it for the right reasons. Bringing God into the center of it and praising him through your success is what it’s all about. Blessing your marriage that is to come. We’ve struggled with this, especially with my fiancé being new to the Christian faith. However our premarital class through church and fellowship with our other class mates has helped him out a lot. Having that connection with others during difficult times can make all the differences to help keep you accountable. It is not your mates job. Plenty of devotionals out there too :)

Not gonna lie, but a few days ago I was very sad because I was thinking about how I was a virgin at 24. I stopped being sad about it when God revealed to me that a fornicator cannot be close to God. i had a situation where i slept with someone and i started to condemn myself and said god i committed fornication and God said really... go look the word up.....in the Hebrew and that's when i found that fornication is IDOL worship and has to do with prostitution. i was shocked. don,t take my word for it look it up. Also sexual immorality is talked about in a whole chapter in Leviticus which is not spoken about in this video. Read it and you will see what sexual immorality. If you have sex with your mother or sister or fathers wife or your cat and dog then you have committed sexual immorality.

Nobody can enter Heaven if they have premarital sex with their girlfriend or boyfriend. Nobody who hooks up with people will enter Heaven. Anyone who is not sexual pure will not enter Heaven... fortunately the blood of Jesus has removed all of our sins and can make us sexually pure once again. All we have to do is reach out to Him and He makes us virgins once again.

This is a really great video. Love this. I also want to highlight what you said about trying to negotiate with God because you are struggling with sexual desires and find a loop hole around God’s will! When you start doing this it generally means you’re trying to fight your conviction.

When I rededicated my life to the Lord I was still in a relationship with someone I wasn't married to. I asked Jesus why was it wrong for me to sleep with the person I loved? He didn't answer me right away, then one day when I was sitting on the patio reading my bible the Holy Spirit said to me one word... "purchased". I knew exactly what scripture he was talking about - 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 KJV:
"Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are BOUGHT with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."
I stopped fornicating and have no regrets. We have been purchased (redeemed) by the precious shed blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

The word soul tie isn't in there but the concept is biblical. I can't remember the exact scripture but two friends in the Bible that were so close it said that their souls were knitted.

They should trust in God to help them financially and do things God's way. God says in the Bible (paraphrasing) that He will provide for us just as He provides for the birds in the sky.

This is a false interpretation of the scriptures.
According to biblical times people where virgins until marriage. Marriage was not a ceremony but sexual intercourse.
The woman at the well was told she had many husbands because she had sexual intercourse with many men.
Biblical marriage has nothing to do with a ceremony and filling in paperwork.
People falsely interpret it this way because they are more concerned with ceremonial and legal aspect of today’s society.
Yet no where in the bible does it define marriage as a legal union but a spiritual union.

In Biblical times, ppl got married in their mid teens.

@@sergiodearriba7559 true. There seems to be miles that needed to be cross just get married. You need to be educated, have a high earning job for several years to be financially stable, save enough for a house, insurance, etc. Not to mention the confusing gender wars going on now
I suppose back then, you can get marry young because you would still be supported by family members until you are financially stable yourself (certain cultures like mine did anyways). There was more community back then with everyone helping each back then with the best they can, in laws and relatives lived close by. They say it takes a village to raise a child but you the village was your relatives. So you weren’t necessarily alone in the process.

FYI, in no way am I justifying young marriage, especially THAT young in today’s age. We just don’t have that capacity anymore

My parents are liberal Christians who are telling me it's "okay" and "natural" for me to have sex before marriage as long as it's consensual and loving and that I shouldn't judge my classmates for all having premarital sex blah blah blah. This video was very helpful for me to stay on track and not give in to peer pressure.

No, the Bible doesn't mention premarital sex. It just doesn't. Nor STDs or heart disease. Jesus though did advocate leaving your family and joining the cult (or was that Paul?), and to not listen to prophets after him (that was for sure Paul). Paul came along, declared himself a prophet and everyone forgot what Jesus (God) said and listened to him anyway. Jesus did have these nifty things to say about family … “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.” And so, the Bible really isn't your best source of guidance for sex, or relationships, family. Anyway, I digress. It's all rather ridiculous.
