Having been out of the gay lifestyle for 30 years and being happily married I can testify fo the saving grace of Jesus. I always hated the lifestyle but felt compelled to live it. I love who I am now. I live in a freedom that only God can give.

I just want everyone to know. Having homosexual thoughts urges is not a sin!! It’s the lifestyle that is. Ask Jesus for guidance and you will overcome the thoughts and urges. Thank you for this video. I am gay. Years ago I believed that I could be gay and Christian, just in the manner you so aptly described. This did not last, however, as ultimately I was unable to truly reconcile the gay liffestyle with Christianity. I ended up becoming an atheist, not purely for this reason, but one of many reasons that I won't go into at this time. I listened to so much about being born this way, just being who I am, Jesus never spoke on homosexuality, and even gay churches and such. One thing I always noticed which prevented me from buying into the notion was the simple fact that they were all tap dancing around the issue, distorting facts, and bending over backwards to make it ok within the confines of Christianity. It all seemed very insincere to me and their view on things just did not add up.
In my thirteen years of atheism, I partook in homosexual activity, was a vocal supporter of gay rights and gay marriage, and scoffed at Christianity. During the last few years, I settled down and stopped arguing. Honestly, I looked at the homosexual lifestyle and saw a lot that I did not like. There is so much jealousy, cattiness, and a party atmosphere all of the time. Being rather old fashioned, I looked for something more and could never find it. It always seemed to be sex first, and sexuality was the center of everything rather than merely being one aspect of the person. I could never let go of my hope of meeting a good man and having a real relationship, and thus I ended up feeling like I did not fit in with the gay community. I was even told once that I was too conservative. Well, that is something I can't really change. I speak for no one but myself with this post.
When I finally stopped rebelling and turned back to God, he began working on me in ways that seemed impossible so many years ago. Now, I have learned to give my problems to God rather than trying to fix them on my own in an effort to please God. I prayed about whether I could ever have companionship, and in my heart God answered me and made it clear that He does not want me to live the homosexual lifestyle. He has taken a great bit of the temptations and urges away, but not all. I mean, I know I am still gay. I know that I have no desire to be with women. Yet I no longer chase after the gay lifestyle. I accept this, and in a way that no one can understand, I am fine with it. I know God has a plan for me and I know He continues to work it all out. Temptation is still there at times and there is no expectation of changing that, but I have learned through God to be ok with it. The struggle is gone, as now I see clearly and place my faith in something more than what this Earthly realm can offer.
I know many out there would roll their eyes at me, or feel sorry for me because I am trapped by religion, but those people will never be able to understand what it is to have peace and acceptance about it as I look more to God. I am happy, and the whole gay thing doesn't really cast a spell over me like it once did. God has taken those things and made it bearable. This is something I never thought I would say, but I never thought it because I did not know how to truly leave it in God's hands. THIS is who I am now, and I am thankful to the Lord for it!

I'm not judging you or anything, but I'm gonna drop truth on you. If you're still gay, you're still rebelling. Allow God to transform you. You want to please God, so be sure to yield to Him. Allow the holy spirit to guide you. When you come to full repentance, you'll know you're being transformed. Right now, you're kidding yourself when you tell us you have turned completely to God but you're still gay. You can't have both.

@M C We should be correcting people. Not because we are God but because no one will take a cure for a disease they do not know they have-sin. Therefore we should be warning people of hell and judgement day and begging that they repent and trust in God. John 7:24 says to judge with righteous judgement. 1 Peter 3:15 also says to be ready to give answers to those who ask the reason for the hope that is in you, but to do it with gentleness and respect. So in conclusion, we should correct/judge with righteousness. Especially if we, as Christians, know that they will end up in hell if they do not repent and trust in the Savior. Always remember [as an example] that God considers hatred to be murder, which means His standards are way higher than ours. And on judgement day, many people will go to hell simply because they were not warned that the sin they were holding on to so tightly would eventually drag them to hell. This isn't targeted at homosexuality, it is targeted at ALL sins. If you call yourself a Christian but are still a fornicator, idolater, adulterer, homosexual, sodomite, thief, coveter, drunkard, reviler, or extortioner, then you are not a Christian for one reason: you have yet to repent.

Allen, I watch your videos often, and I appreciate everything you stand on. You don’t sugar coat anything, and I love that God has put you out there to tell people about the Gospel.
Man, I lived that life as a homosexual for 11 years. 11 years!! I’m a PK, and I grew up in church. I knew God was real, I believe that I was saved when I was younger, but after the last several years of living that life, it got dark. (The Bible says sin is fun for a season). I knew something was missing.. & God started giving me dreams of the rapture.. I was doing other sinful things along with that lifestyle that slowly crept upon me.. I was a slave to sin, but God spoke to me and told me to choose. Back in December of 19, I started getting more into the word. I’ve had several struggles since then, but God has helped me through it. One night I felt the Lord speak to me heart and just told me to let it go... and I did!! I asked Him to come into my heart, and pleaded for His forgiveness. The feeling I felt inside was just indescribable. Satan has me convinced for a long time that I wasn’t saved, and that I was a reprobate. When I started listening to God, one day I was in the car, driving down the road and I felt God’s presence so strongly that I bursted out in tears! I felt Him in my heart, and I honestly knew in that very moment that I was 110% assured that I was saved. I begged and pleaded for His forgiveness and felt His love so strongly. I was crying so hard that I couldn’t even see the road, & He was there guiding me. I no longer live in that lifestyle through Jesus Christ, the Savior. I’m so happy that I gave all that up because God has shown me that I can overcome through Him. God has taught me self discipline, and God is the ONLY man I need to be in a relationship with. HE gives me everything and more than any man could ever give. Actually, I’ve prayed for awhile that he will give me the attraction for women, and He has!! Anything is possible with God!! His love sustains me! He lifts me up, and He loves me! For who I am through Him!! I am forgiven of those choices that I made. He is a wonderful and mighty God!!

I agree. Im homosexual fighting this sin everyday only with God strength. I was once in that state of mind that i thought it was a time to celebrate it. And freedom of same sex marriage. If anyone is gay, that doesn't give the right to do the act of homosexuality. If anyone has a disability, that doesn't give them a right to do drugs or getting drunk. Well, I have a disability. And I have desires, but I don't act on them in committing fornication in my life but does that make me perfect? Far from it. In fact I used to think a lot of Christians at my church were way ahead of me. But I realize the truth that we as a Church of the Body of Christ are equal. God sees the body of Christ as a family, not a dysfunctional family. I went through and still are going through a very dysfunctional family.
I've been physically abused, sexually abused, and being manipulated by my Earthly father. But I have a Heavenly Father that accepts me for who I am in christ. I don't care if I was gay or disability. My Earthly father did not accept who I was and he did not act like a father.
My Earthly father didn't abuse me from any acts. My Earthly father abuse me because he thought I was stupid. If your Earthly father didn't love you, let me tell you the heavenly Father loves you with unconditional love. This is the Father I wanted to please because he loves me unconditionally even though I was different. My Earthly father did not.

Thank you for this video. You hit it on the nail. Ever since I was a child, I was always attracted to males. When I was born again, my eyes were opened. I realized, my sinful nature was always going to come up, but I had to remember what the Word said and put it to use. Living by the Spirit does give us self control. do you still have attraction to men? sexually? If so, you're still homosexual. Homosexuality doesn't really mean lifestyle, practice or action, it means it's an identity for a person who's still attracted to a same-sex. Even you practice it, disregard it, the fact that you find attraction to men, especially sexually, you will still be identified as gay. Because Straight people are identified to be attracted to opposite sex.

When you were talking about gay people saying " I was born that way", I have always thought if someone was... truly, "born that way", felt attraction to the same sex as long as the remember, felt like they wanted to be the opposite sex than they were born, there entire live. That was different. But when you said, we're all born into sin.. but when we're born again we are a new man... a light went off in me...I was born an addict. ( had to withdrawal from alcohol) I have struggled with addiction as long as I remember... but that didn't give me a ticket to continue being an addict. I was delivered from that desire ( spirit) . Made me think of this is a whole new way, thank you

I’ve been having homosexuality feelings since I was young! When I went to high school which was full of other homosexuals i became friends with them and thought it was ok to do the things or feel that way! I’ve went to bars, events and festivals! It wasn’t too long ago I seen the truth and fasted. I also fell back in recently. I told myself you know this isn’t right, I know in my heart I had to stop, repent and turn to GOD. It is not easy but it is worth it for the Lord and yourself!

It is not the end of the world. Jesus does not want you to struggle with sin. Jesus was in a struggle of wits with Satan in the desert. It was his natures as man and as God that enabled him and provided the strength to fight and to win. We are doing pretty good when we realize our sins and try to be mindful of their effects. God wants us to enjoy the life he was gifted to us. It is not healthy to have an ongoing struggle with sin. You do not need prayers. God has given us all great powers that we do not hone. Try to find a way to be mindful of sin without obsessing. Don't be an obsessive-compulsive Christian. All of us have hands that get a little dirty now and again. That doesn't mean we have to spend 24 hours a day washing them. Live, cherish, and truly experience the life you were gifted.

Throughout the learned eras of the Classical Greeks, the Romans, the Renaissance, the Great Awakening, and now, in the era of applied technology and science, that specific fear is no longer of use. Instead we observe, study, and educate ourselves in this age of discovery and intellectual progress. Unfortunately, I think that some of us still retain the gene responsible for that fear. It is time to replace fear with Christian love and understanding.

I use to be transgender (female to male) for about five years? Maybe longer. At first I didnt wanted to give up that life and I didnt know how to, but when I finally cried to God and said, "I give up this life; change me!" I felt this dark spirit (a dark presence) leave from around me, and after all those years of wanting to be male... I felt normal to be female. I gave glory to God for changing me, but it took about a week or so to fully let go and God took it from me that nasty life.
Still, to this day, I feel fine with being a woman. Glory to God forever! Amen!

One thing is for sure, with God all things are possible once you believe in Him. He is with you, and i know i'm sure of that.
I believed in Him. I pray everyday. I even went to Catholic school twice and did all the religious stuff that my schools told us to do. Went to church every Sunday and helped my mother in church service. I hated myself for being gay for years and I did not believe that I'm attracted to same-sex. I'm now 30 and still gay and struggling to find attraction to women.

I have personally struggled with this sin all of my life however about two months ago I had confessed this to my pastor and asked God for forgiveness of my sin. Since then, I have been going to church more and trying to read my word everyday. Although the struggle may be hard at times I still hold strong to my faith so that way I could continue to fighting the good fight!

I had a dear friend who came out of the gay lifestyle who asked me if I loved God I replied yes and so did he. He then asked me if I struggled with sexual sin I replied yes and he admitted he did also. he then asked if I had ever fallen and I reluctantly admitted I had he then admitted the same thing then asked had God or would God forgive me and him? it was then that I saw that I had placed his particular sin on a higher level than mine. That was a MAKOR lesson for me.

I agree every Christian should look at their own life before so easily judging anyone. The world is broken and full of sin and temptation. We need to stay in the truth in order to survive as a Christian. God waited for me until I was in my 50's. So many things I regret, but once I accepted Jesus, everything changed for the better.

I have a friend who used to be a Christian homosexual. God enabled him to overcome that, and he is now a happily married man with children.
It's a risky thing to do. I once knew a couple with kids, but after I moved away I heard from one of their relatives that they broke up because the guy was actually gay but had been advised to marry a woman on the basis of same-sex relationships being a sin. I've often heard of mixed-orientation marriages that have failed. Some people are bi, though, so I would expect it to work out sometimes.

I am a gay Christian and I want to respond to this:

So you are claiming that by us wanting equal rights to marry (same sex marriage) we are wanting a free pass to do what we want while the heterosexuals have to discipline. But honestly, it is the OPPOSITE. Marriage is a “free pass” for heterosexuals ONLY to fall in love, consummate their sexuality, and have a life long partner - while homosexuals are expected to live a lifelong celibacy despite having feelings for people of the same sex.
Almost all people have sexual temptation. In 1 Corinthians 7:1-9 it speaks about how it is better not to marry, but because of the temptation to sin sexually God designed marriage. And it gives instructions on how to keep that marriage Holy. It ends with verses 8 & 9 saying it’s good to remain unmarried, but if they do not have self-control, let them be married, for it is better to be married then to BURN WITH PASSION.
If God loves everyone equally, why does this not apply equally to homosexuals such as myself? I have a heart and a need for love and a companionship. Right back as far as Genesis 2:18, it says “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” I’m sorry, but a woman is not a suitable partner for me. She just isn’t. A man is.
The reason all homosexual acts are sin is because you will NOT LET US MARRY. And what are the fruits of that? Burning with passion! Look at LGBT+ pride. Look at gay clubs. Hook up apps like Grindr. There is prostitution, fornication, disease, lust, and tons of sexual immorality in the LGBT+ community and it’s not because of an innate evil homosexual attraction that we’ve somehow acquired. It’s because these people are not allowed to freely and openly express themselves and marry and so they burn with passion. But the Bible itself says it’s better to be married than to burn with passion! The logical thing in my mind is simply to give LGBT+ people equal rights. Then this issue would not be such a big issue. The LGBT+ community would not be in such a state of lust. And the anger and militancy that this community has toward the church comes from decades and decades of harmful discrimination - something I am sure Jesus would despise and speak against. Because the most important commandment is LOVE.
I simply cannot believe that all LGBT+ people are expected to remain single and celibate and burning with passion, while the heterosexuals are allowed an outlet for that so that they can live Holy lives in marriage. Give us marriage so that our community can HEAL from the pool of lust and sexual immorality that we are trapped within!
You and many other loving Christians who are against homosexuality and same-sex marriage will say that homosexuals have the same rules that heterosexuals do. We DON’T. Heterosexuals have marriage so that they can keep their temptations under control and live Holy lives with suitable partners. Homosexuals don’t have marriage and are expected to live a lonely life of celibacy and abstinence, burning with passion and an increased temptation to sin.
And I will end this by saying that I can tell you FIRSTHAND… being gay is not a choice. I don’t know if it’s something we are born with as a baby or in our DNA. But I do know it goes back to early childhood at least and it CANNOT be changed. Conversion therapy doesn’t work and even if it did… if you had true faith in God why would you need it? Because you’d trust that God can take care of that, and wouldn’t even need manmade intervention. God can of course change it if He chooses to. But in my experience my prayer to become straight was met with outright refusal. And when I asked why, He told me “I will not destroy who you are in order to make you something you’re not.” That really did stick with me. It was not the answer I was expecting at all. I have never once in my life worshiped an idol other than God. I have always been a Christian since childhood. And I promise you, being gay really is something that just occurs from time to time, is innate and cannot be changed. And it is unfair to expect this small group of people to live these “disciplined lives” while heterosexuals get a “free pass” via marriage. I just wanted to respond to that from a homosexual Christian perspective. I would love to talk more about this issue as it is important to me. Thank you and God bless!

Im a little confused....so if a homosexual believes the same thing as a heterosexual and they are still openly identifying themselves as a homosexual and i have not openly denounced that lifestyle then they can still claim Christianity? There is righteous judgment. But we need to understand why and how to judge someone biblically.

If someone comes to you in love showing you a weakness in your walk by means of discipline, chastening or correction, this is a form of righteous judgment.
So if you claim to be a Christian, and don’t receive correction, you are regarded as “a fool” according to holy scripture. Fool in Hebrew: one who despises wisdom, one who mocks when guilty, one who is quarrelsome, one who is licentious.
And as far as righteous judging goes... for one to pass (righteous) judgment he or she must be practicing what they preach, otherwise they have no authority from God because they are being a hypocrite.

John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
The Bible says when we judge ourselves and our neighbors our judgment must be in righteousness. Not what we hear from someone else about that person or what we think, but rather moral truth.

I partially disagree with you on this. In order for one to judge righteously, you must be PERFECT at all time and sinless. Correction isn't judgement. The only one to walk this earth and was perfect was Jesus. And when he was here, he didn't judge. This is where people get it twisted. We have all sinned and will continue until the day we die. That's just the nature of the beast. We dont do it on purpose, however, it doesn't mean that it still isn't happening. From my high school year, I lost all of my friends except one because I said I don’t support homosexuality in front of my friends who support homosexuality and a homosexual friend. I didn’t say homosexual people are disgusting or will be going hell. But they just left me and started bullying me I even wanted to quit the class that I had with them. They didn’t even give me a chance to explain myself except the friend I was closest to. I got hurt and I know what I said hurt my friend who came out to be a lesbian. I was sad not because I became alone and they bullied me, but because I have lost my friend whom I loved a lot. I still love her and pray for her. They thought I am homophobic but I am cleary not. Hate is a sin. I explained my position to my closest friend who at least tried to understand me. She was also bisexual. I said ‘I am a Christian and I can’t say I support homosexually based on my religious belief. But I still love them and love you because Jesus loved everyone.’ She respected my belief, and she became the only person who didn’t disgust me even though she truly knew me, and we are still friends. (My high school life was still lonely because we never stayed together when the friends who left me could see us. She was hiding that she still hung out with me after the friends left me. She tried to explain my position to them, but they refused to listen to her.) Yes, I am a sinner too and judging is not right. But saying what is wrong in the Bible is right is also wrong too. Everytime I see people who are related to the rainbow flag, that hurts my heart. Nowadays, the society is almost compelling us to accept that homosexually is nature and love is love. Christians should at least have freedom of speech and religion to say what is wrong is wrong! Just disagreeing with the idea doesn’t mean we hate it. We love you but we just can’t support what you are doing. We should repent our sin too because no one is sinless. We just have different points of view. What is easier? As someone who lived a secret life of fornication with both sexes, I can safely say that it does nothing but hurt, and destroy you from inside. It perverts the good desire for a relationship, and proper bonding in exchange for a lust that never gets fulfilled. It made me feel like less than a man, and it almost ruined my life. Jesus is still helping me to clean my heart so that I can love a wife the way He loved the church. God is my only husband in the spirit! Fornication is NOT love it always hurts someone, and it hurts God most of all becuase He wants the best for us! Please pray for me that I finally find that Godly lady that will be one with me in Christ! I feel like its finally coming soon!

It would benefit you to making fasting with prayer a regular part of your life. Learn how to meditate on scripture and mediate on silence because that is helpful in learning how to exercise self control in your thoughts and how to cast down wrong thoughts. Learn also prana breath or the science of breath because that it also a healing modality. Teaches you how to oxygenate your body fully which heals. Grace and peace be upon you.

A true believer doesn't want to sin but sometimes we do our duty is to repent and ask for his forgiveness and don't go back. It ain't easy but it's worth living for him. Folks have to be careful casting judgement on people when they are weak. I think that's the problem in the church today. They are are to harsh on the weakest Christians. It grieves my spirit to see among those who call themselves christians. We should judge sin and false doctrine in the right spirit and not with harshness because one day we might find our selves stumbling and we will need that same grace and mercy one day. I've struggled with my sexuality for a while. I have been raised Christian my entire life, and I've subtly noticed my attraction towards the same sex grow and grow. It's something I can't control. I have prayed and asked God repeatedly to just give me joy and happiness, cause I felt like I didn't deserve it [since I was having these attractions]. I basically tried to "pray the gay away". It didn't work. Since figuring out my sexuality, I truly believe I have grown closer to God. He has helped me find my true self, and I can say I am proud to be both homosexual and Christian.
God's Word never changes to fit our desires and wants! It is not His will for that lifestyle.

This was spot on, simple and powerful. I remember hearing another Christian RUclipsr saying God doesn't need us to be ourselves, he needs us to live our holiest life. That's stands out to me. God loves us as we are, he's even faithful to the non believer but, God deserves our loyalty.

I had a Christian friend on social media who came out in a homosexual relationship. I respectfully shared my concern and his "friends" attacked me as a bigot and I got nowhere with it.
He's now an advocate for the gay community as lawyer. So he claims to be a follower of Christ and he is working to support the gay agenda.
