"The Bible Says Homosexuality Is A SIN!" Preacher Franklin Graham on Being Gay

- Evangelical Preacher and son of famous Evangelist Billy Graham, Franklin Graham joins Piers Morgan Uncensored whilst he is on a UK tour called "God Loves You".
Firstly Piers asks him about the recent 10-year-old victim of rape in Ohio who had to travel across the state border to get a legal abortion after falling pregnant and what Franklin would do if this was his daughter. Franklin says he is "not sure" and that its a "tough decision" because of his religion and the difficult circumstances and he would only be able to answer that if he was in the reality of it and had to face it.
Piers then goes on to ask him about his previous statements on homosexuality and if it is fair for anyone's sexual preferences to be labelled a 'sin'. Franklin replies by saying "The Bible says homosexuality is a sin" and that it's not debatable if it's a sin or not, but rather that he is just trying to warn them to repent their sins. He says "we all sin" but we must repent our sins to God and he will ultimately forgive us.

Actually Franklin got it completely wrong. God did not create man and woman INITIALLY. INITIALLY God only created man, without woman... INITIALLY creating man's helpers who were literally the animals of the Earth... and only after man was found by God not to be content with the way God (presumably) wanted it to be, God then created woman from the "rib" (DNA?) of man. Therefore the case could easily be made that God intended for man to be homosexual. I am Catholic and I don't believe the bible who's to say that is the word of God the Bible was written by man and most likely is corrupted by the devil after all our lady did say the Catholic Church has the devil inside its walls. Going back to moses when he asked God for a set of laws to live a sin free life and to live by the word of God as God said to moses that it is written on stone will endure meaning it will stand forever witch is the 10 commandments and if back then God thought being gay was a sin it would have been in the 10 commandments. To stray out of these commandments and use God's word to attack people who are different that is you using God's word for your own narrative view that you see something and don't like so you corrupt God's word to try to justify your view God has never sent any sign to say being gay is a sin and the Bible is not God's word the 10 commandments are as long as there's love and they don't commit adultery then it's not a sin love is all that matters.

It’s a foreshadowing that something or someone needs to die in your place. With the question, you had about if a baby died at a stage where it couldn´t even reach the age where they begin to learn about Jesus Christ and you wondered what would happen to it. Well you see when god creates us into this world we are all pure at first in our young years of life, and yes the bible says we are all born with sin, but however our brains and thoughts as a newborn or at an age where we are too young to understand the bible have not yet crossed that line of age where we have our own thoughts and conciseness where we can make our own decisions and choices to either follow the teachings of the lord and accept Jesus Christ as our savior in order to be delivered and saved from eternal punishment or stray away from our creator and be overwhelmed by evil spirits. So if a newborn were to tragically pass away, that baby would not be old enough to be judged for how it lived because it never had the chance to live a life in the first place so that baby would be saved and this doesn´t only go for Christian babies, but also for any young human being around the ages of 5-0 years old (Months or even weeks old) because they have not reached the age where they are able to commit sin in their lives with their own thoughts and will. You also seem to question the logic of Jesus´s sacrifice and you also have questions about why we are accountable for Adam´s mistakes when it wasn´t us who committed them in the first place. Now to answer your question about how Jesus´s sacrifice is logical in any way, I want to first confirm that his sacrifice is actually real and the evidence is literally within the timeline that we used to mark history and which we use to even this very day. This being BC (Before Christ) and AD, Annon Domini which means the year of the lord in Latin which we´ve been using in our calendars which the whole entire world follows and has continued following for many generations. This event has literally been marked out on a timeline in history and questioning the lord who is basically our creator who is all-powerful and giving people a chance in order to give us an opportunity to save everyone from hell is so foolish. Who are we to question our creator and try to tell him what is right and wrong, don´t think of the lord as someone that you think you could understand what his intentions are because then we aren´t thinking of the same god, for the omnipotent being known as god that we Christians believe in doesn´t think like us or everyone else in this world for he thinks so differently that we can´t even imagine what he thinks of. The second Graham starts his sentence, Piers cuts him off by asking 3 more questions without allowing him to answer any of those as well. Proper dialogue is when you respect the speaker enough to provide them with a respectful amount of time to answer your question without being interrupted

If a person believes in Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit convicts the person's soul of its sin and the soul then repents and turns away from sin. This interviewer you could tell he had another mandate in place than having pastor Graham answer anything. He couldn’t let him talk. What a patient man Graham is, he remained calm and showed us what the interviewer stands for.

There is no God? I would not be so sure. Before the atom was captured visually, it had always been a postulate and people like you did not doubt it's existence. The atom is one of the smallest units there are and look at how long it took to actually establish its existence? If an entity like God is real( and that is not to say I don't believe he is), then he would be the last thing to be discovered about. And that is because He would either be too fundamental and permeating everything that it would be almost impossible to isolate him. And another humble submission is that nobody finds things by doubting. Without belief we cannot find things. How many scientists have dedicated any amount of energy at the question of the existence of God and how long have they done that. Be humble in your claims cause what we know little at this point.

Homosexuality in the bible is a verb, not a noun. It's a new thing in society to equate your feelings to your identity. Everyone struggles with different sins, some people are more prone to one than the other. When you come to Christ, you die to yourself, and your old way of living is gone. Your identity is in Christ. There are so many people who have incredible testimonies of choosing Jesus over themselves and their lifestyle, which should be true of every single christian, not just involving sexuality. But once we come to the Lord, you realize, the world leads to death, and it never satisfies. Jesus does, He isn't taking anything away without replacing it with so much more. Jackie Hill Perry has an amazing testimony, as well as Becket Cook. Coming from a girl who in the flesh identifies as bisexual, but in my life, I live it for the Lord and obey his word. Marriage, if you are a christian, is nothing less than one man and one woman, for life. God wants good for us, nothing that he says in the bible to stay away from is ever to hurt us, it is to protect us. I wish people like Piers would research and learn a bit before asking questions, of course there was a difference between the laws in the old testament and the new testament. Because of Jesus, we are under grace.

The Bible clearly seis homosexuality is a sin, so is abortion, so is living together when you arent married. I'm a Christian I love my Jesus. We are called to speak up what is a sin, that doesn't mean we hate. I don't believe in killing those who sin. We all sin, we all need Jesus. I believe judgment is left up to God. When Jesus came the old law is no longer valid. While the old testament is still important, we go by the New Testament.

Like Mr. Graham said, in the Old Testament the Bible states homosexuality is a sin. Then with the birth of Jesus, everything changes! Jesus tells us in the Bible that the greatest commandment is to love one another. So...if you are a Christian, you lift these people up in prayer.
I sincerely hope you invite Mr. Graham back to your show & treat him with the respect a true Christian would afford him. Satan is running rampant in our world. Piers, I'm usually impressed by her interviews, but this was a fail, IMO. There are fallacies in your arguments and you were rude at times. Graham is referencing scripture when stating that everyone is viewed equally as a sinner. Therefore love, redemption, salvation are withheld from no one who accepts the gospel, regardless of their sins. He did not single homosexuals out, those who complained single themselves out. He is simply reminding others of what God says. Piers, it seems your questions for Graham should actually be directed to God.

Notice, God PREFERS for people to be in LGBT relationships.
Eunuchs are same sex couples. One partner is transgender. Transgender is when someone is born with a gender opposite the sex characteristics normally associated with that gender. God made us male or female, determined by gender, located in the brain.

Why is the case of the girl in Ohio more of a moral tragedy because the rapist was an illegal immigrant? Is Piers suggesting that he would allow his daughter to have an abortion if she were raped by an illegal immigrant, but not if she were raped by a white citizen? Why does Piers need to add that additional qualifier "by an illegal immigrant"?
6:26 Piers says "I'm giving you the opportunity to explain....." while interrupting every sentence Franklin Graham attempts to speak. Piers didn't give any opportunity to explain anything, he simply preached at Graham.
Cause if it was a white baby it would be perfectly fine to keep it. Secondly, if you are trying to move away from the question with your explanation, you are being either disingenuous or willfully ignorant. Stay on topic and you are allowed to talk.

@@houstonsam6163 I was saying the preacher was trying to move away from Piers’s questions. Secondly, systemic racism has it that if the baby had been white they would keep it. Personally, I dislike abortion however it is not my choice to make. Piers added that so that the consideration from the preacher was that of an unwanted pregnancy. Most people view pregnancy as only a good thing.

@@quentincampbell612 The preacher keeps trying to shove responsibility for hating LGBT+ off on God, saying it isn’t what he thinks. Religious people are the ones acting on these beliefs, so that is their thoughts and their wrongdoing. Whenever a question was asked of him, it wasn’t his fault, it was God telling him to do that. Secondly, when a question is asked he trys to proselytize or say a sermon, the interruptions are to get the preacher to use his words not another’s words.
