Started following JP just before the pandemic. The first week of lockdown, a girlfriend of 3 years, breaks up with me, i was devastated. Lock down didn't help either. I couldn't drink or smoke my miseries away. JP's videos helped me throughout that. Unemployed and looking for a purpose in life. I cleaned up my room and hit the books, qualified as a pilot. Lost my mother last year but I was the strongest person at her funeral. Fell in love again, got married to the most beautiful woman in the world, who received blessings from my mother before her passing. I bought both 12 rules. I'm looking to grow spiritually so I can't wait for the next book. In the nutshell JP helped me grow as a young African man, from the Kalahari desert, in SA 🇿🇦, and I've never met him. I love this man.

    Jordan Peterson saved my life.
His lectures about responsibility, sacrifice, and hard work brought me out of addiction to alcohol, to my senses and back to reality. I got sober, got a job and started walking a real path in life. I couldn’t possibly thank him enough for what he has done to save me. I found myself, God and a sense of purpose thanks to this man.
    God bless Jordan B. Peterson.

Good jorb brother! I started watching him after his first time on Joe Rogan's podcast when I use to watch it. Jordan is such a gem, I think I really gravitated to him because his articulation was really hard for me to understand and the references he'd use felt extremely important but foreign. I'd literally have to watch interviews 4 times before I could really grasp what he was saying. I was pretty atheist before listening to Jordan, I thought religion was a controlling mechanism used by societies. He's extremely genuine also, you can tell by how emotional he can get. He's been extremely fun to follow for me, his academic guests on his podcast are out of this world too. He's had a few that I felt left impacts on me. John Vervaeke and Biship Barron.

I’m a 50-year-old woman who started following Dr. Peterson a few years ago. Back then, few people knew about him, and I couldn’t understand why-his books and talks were pure pearls of wisdom to me. At that time, he was definitely not a believer, but then God began working in his life. It has been incredible to witness how God has moved in Dr. Peterson’s journey.
One day, someone will make a movie about his life, and, as with everything related to Peterson, people will watch it in awe. This man is truly fascinating and after he described his dad now I understand why he is like he is.

Peterson denied any wrongdoing and filed for judicial review.[26][24] Peterson's appeal was reviewed in August 2023 by a panel of three judges of the Ontario Divisional Court, who unanimously upheld the college's initial decision[27] concluding that the ICRC's reasoning in their 2022 decision was "transparent, intelligible, justifiable, and reasonable" and ordered Peterson to pay the CPO $25,000 in legal costs.[20] The decision was upheld on appeal to the Court of Appeal for Ontario in January 2024.[28] In August 2024, the Supreme Court of Canada declined to hear an appeal from the appeal court decision, closing Peterson's legal options for resisting the social media training.[29

My deepest condolences to my virtual Dad, Tammy, Michaela and the rest of your family. You’ve been a wonderful father figure not only to my adult son, but also to his single mother. I grew up without a father also and spent my whole life looking for that man look up. Without success! My son and I didn’t share a lot of ground in his earlier years, but one thing we agree upon completely is our love of Dr. Jordan Peterson and the faith and trust we have and everything he says. It was my son who introduced me to Dr. Jordan Peterson in 2012 when he was a 25-year-old, struggling young man. You have not only been a wonderful example for young men. You’ve helped me to believe in myself as a woman and to respect myself. You have very many virtual daughters as well as virtual sons. May God bless you and everything you do!

Jordan Peterson was my father figure online, when my dad was sadly obsessed with my step-mom after my mom succumbed from breast cancer as tragic as it sounds I find it inspiring to have someone so compassionate and brilliant to guide millions of people. Although, I've stumbled the past few years I came back to God and listened more to Jordan, trying to be better. I hope he'll always be well, thank you Jordan!

Dr. Peterson, although I know this comment may never reach you, I would still like to say that you have positively helped me fight my depression and anxiety in a way i cannot even fathom to begin explaining. Your book - 12 rules for life - was deeply impactful and insightful.
I live in Brazil and am lucky enough to have learned English since I was a young child, reason why I am able to fully accompany you, whenever you post something. You are a brilliant man, with a huge (although tough - in the most positive sense of the word) heart.
I don't exactly believe in God, but I do sincerely hope your father has found peace and eternal rest.
I wish you the very best, from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for sharing the gift of your insight and thoughts with the rest of the world, which is undoubtedly a better place thanks to you.

Sorry for your loss jordan. I lost my father almost 10 years ago, At the age of 26. He died in a workplace accident. And still to this day i miss him. My daughter who 6 at the time misses him deeply still. Unfortunately he died 3 months before my second child youngest daughter was born. He never got to meet her although he was very much excited to be a grandad again. The year after my youngest child was born. My son who has so many of my father mannerisms its uncanny he reminds me everyday of him. Its something you never get over. We just carry on the best we can. I think almost every sons hero is their father and i lost my hero and the hurt is still very much there. The best i can do is try to be as long as i can for my children. But in the mean time make sure they know just how much i love them and how very special they are to me. My life would be nothing without my children. They have kept me together when my mind was failing me. They still keep me strong.
Can i also say i genuinely love your passion and empathy for things. I still have many dark days. More dark then light actually. But listening to your words have help me see clarity in many ways. And also helped me to learn new ways of thinking. Thank you for all you do for people jordan. May god bless you and your family.

Will never forget being a naive young man maybe 19 or 20, I had just moved out of my terrible living situation, with my father figure older brother, and I had met JBP at a barber in Adelaide South Australia, my brother being a huge fan spoke to him before his seminar for about 15 minutes. I didn’t know who he was or the kind of impact he’d have on my life so I didn’t think much of it after the exchange, my brother bought me his book that day and he’s been a huge inspiration to me ever since.

I think it depends on how you interpret the bible, as to what you will get out of it. Agnostic is a great place to be because it is fluid. I do not vibe with the control and manipulation of the church, nor the judgement and punishment. I think the whole thing is much more nuanced and deeper than the way churches conduct themselves. I think spiritual life is evolving. It will be very interesting and exciting to see how it all unfolds.
