In this video, you will learn how to check your SBI account balance and mini statement through SMS and WhatsApp. This is a quick and easy way to check your account information without having to log in to your online banking account or visit an ATM.
To check your SBI account balance through SMS:
Open your messaging app and type a new message.
In the recipient field, enter the number 09223766666.
In the message body, type "BAL".
Send the message.
You will receive a reply SMS message with your current account balance.
To check your SBI mini statement through SMS:
Open your messaging app and type a new message.
In the recipient field, enter the number 09223866666.
In the message body, type "MSTMT".
Send the message.
You will receive a reply SMS message with your mini statement, which will show the last five transactions on your account.
To check your SBI account balance through WhatsApp:
Add the SBI WhatsApp Banking number [phone] to your contacts.
Open WhatsApp and send a "Hi" message to the SBI WhatsApp Banking number.
Follow the instructions given by the Chat-Bot.
To check your account balance, send 1 and to get the SBI mini statement, send 2.
Note: You must have registered your mobile number with SBI for both SMS and WhatsApp banking in order to use these services.
