I turned this challenge into a community lot, combo of spa with gym and meditation areas. I used the courtyard kit to make it Moroccan spa inspired and it turned out pretty neat. I wanted something different for my Sims to visit in their neighborhood.

@@DissonantSynth hey, nobody has asked for your advice, my friend... Correcting people in front of so many others is much more discouraging than helpful. @@willgpb_ You know, there's such a thing as tone. Where in my comment did I use a negative tone? People can't learn if they don't receive help. I welcome people to correct my mistakes. That's how you learn. You can practice all you want but that doesn't mean a thing if you don't have a good reference or someone to give you advice. Nobody asked for your opinion either, but here we are. At least my comment was helpful and constructive.
The kitchen is very well put together all apart from the lack of a fridge. normally people forget thje bins this time its the fridge. The design of the house is wow. Im not sure I'd be able to make it work.
Forgetting the bin makes sense if you’re used to kitchen bins being hidden away and not out on the floor. For example, kitchen bins in Norway are practically always under the sink.
This reminds me of a house my architect dad designed. It didn't have water features but had mini gardens throughout the property and windows that looked upon windows and windows with flowers and mini trees in-between. There were many beautiful vistas and it was very enchanting while still being a modern home. He was a brilliant, creative man and I often use his clients house as inspiration in my builds.
As a console player, I really appreciate you not using CC, I reeeeeally love this build and Im thinking of putting it into my modern section of new crest! ❤️
The build started from a scattered foundation and Deli put her twist on it and it turned vibrant, clear, and neutral. She approached it with a very semi-modern scheme and I love it. The colour scheme throughout this build was very soft, blush and it's very appealing.
The build is gorgeous. I think my favorite room has to be the master. Love the colors, very elegant. When my family and I lived in Puerto Rico we used to spend some much time hanging on the front porch. We talked to our neighbors ate out there, so I didn’t think anything about the builds front porch until you mentioned it.
Regarding flat top homes I used to live in India where pretty much every home had a flat roof. In North India, they had drains on the corners of the home, if I remember correctly. In South India, a lot of homes did still have flat tops with corner drains, but because of the higher amount of rain there they did also have angled roofing with Portuguese style tiles. It was more like a roof covering for the flat top rather than an enclosed space so when it's hot people can hang dry their clothes. ☺ Not sure what it's like in other places with flat roofing, but that's what I remember from my experience.
One thing I loved about Create A Style was that you could change both the outside and inside of doors and windows. Loved being able to match them to different rooms.
The Sims 2 also had separate swatches for different parts of many items, such as bed frames and bedding. There weren’t necessarily a load of swatches, but three bed frame swatches and four bedding swatches is still twelve combinations, which is about as many as we get in The Sims 4 too.
Hi, Deli. Loved the build as usually 👌. However since you're so much into gardening right now, you should have done a spice garden/ kitchen garden in the area connected to the kitchen where you have put the tree. 🌳 Love your builds as always and stay safe ❤ ❣ ❤
I love the way Deli uses color to mix and match different packs. I feel like I often get stuck using the same items that I like and this inspires me to branch out more
My sisters’ kitchens have the oven and stovetop separate. Both have the oven up from the floor, and one has a drawer section between the oven (which has storage above as well as below) and the stovetop, and the other have them along completely different walls. Both are IKEA kitchens.
I watch a lot of Sims RUclipsrs, but watching Deli is the one I save for when I need to calm down. Deli makes even these wild challenges so calming to watch. Thank you for being yourself, Deli. You are so so appreciated
There’s nothing better than chilling at home, wrapped in cozy blankets with a cup of warm tea while watching deli playing sims. 💛 best thing to do on a Sunday. 🥰 btw deli, the house turned out so cute!! 😍 I hope u are doing okay! I’m sending you, bowser and James lots of love all the way from Portugal 🇵🇹❣️
Hey deli! I'm a console player, and I just want to thank you for keeping us in mind when building☺️ it gets frustrating sometimes because builds containing cc don't show up at all in our gallery's, so we miss out on a lot of great builds. Love your work💕
It's so cute you rate your gardening skill by Sim levels. LOL! This is a very nice big family home. Very creative use of the shell. The off-set bedroom would work nicely for a butler. If one could afford this house, a butler's salary shouldn't be a problem. I'd live here! I hope you can do a creator's challenge video so we can see the amazing imagination your viewers contribute. I love them!
Your literally one of my favorites! You could literally post a 3 hour video of you playing doing whatever and I’d still watch it lol I like having long videos playing while I build/play it’s like company to me lol even if you don’t speak lol, no different then when I hang with my in person friends lol we sit in silence, vibe and leave half the time lol 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
I worked on this lot in your save file in my sims and actually really loved how it turned out. Made a Tudor/cottage vibe country home ☺️ thanks for making the challenges
I always watch you play sims when I’m eating because I find it hard to eat if I’m concentrating on the food I’m eating (weird I know) but these videos are so comforting.
Your idea to first place a rug and then decide on the color scheme of a room is REVOLUTIONARY for me! Gonna use it in every of my future builds, thank you Deli!
Why did no-one comment on the big CRONCH of a... carrot? at the end of the video lmao I'm laughing way too much, your videos are so charming and calming and sweet with such beautiful, fun and creative builds (I know you do other stuff but the builds are my fave/easiest for me to watch atm). Really been appreciating getting back into your videos lately as I didn't have a laptop for about a year and uni was hectic before then so I've got lots to catch up on and you always build either to my taste or inspire more ideas.
I love your newcrest challanges! I did this one and placed in on a huge lot (In Brindleton Bay though haha) and turned it into a huge modern museum, but I can see part of the floorplan is the same as yours around the fountains. Love your house though! Thank you for theese fun challanges!
I absolutely love your builds. It inspires me to do more in mine. I am not very good at building so I am happy to learn from your videos. I still haven't seen all of your videos YET. Haha, but I would love to see a video or two using only base game items. Like a high scale maximum home, but only using base game items.
I actually think the floor plan is perfect, it was hard to put it together but you managed to place everything beautifully. The hallway that leads to multiple bedrooms just makes sense
It would have been nice if there was an art studio in one of the rooms since there’s so much huge windows or a green house/floral room too… ah so exciting to see these challenges!
You’re such a talented builder deli. I hate building in the sims because I don’t have the artistic talent that you and many other simmers have. Love your builds and your vids 😘🤗
Just to let you know you can you use as many objects as you want on your builds. I was able to finally save up for a gaming laptop after playing sims on console. Upgraded it to have 24gb of ram 4tb nvme ssd storage. Only downside is you can't upgrade graphics card but it has a Nvidia gtx 1660ti so it runs the sims quite smoothly no matter what
the hardest room I've found was a full pantry without putting in actual food(i.e. apples, potatoes, the meat packs, etc.) I think I spent an hour looking for things to put in it! thankfully I've got cc kitchen things!
I love the floor plan but I really don’t like the roofing. I don’t think it matches rest of the house. But you really did it well and love seeing your builds!
Deli! You are amazing and I learn so much from your videos! Are you aware of the broken Neighborhood stories issue? I know you might not have run into this yet, but none of the big sim streamers are talking about it yet - I think because you guys don't typically play one save file for an extended period of time? I would love to see a video about the babies. When the game says that a family has welcomed a new baby, check the family tree! That baby may have a different father than the husband! And some sims have up to 5 babies with 5 different people, married or not. Fast forward a few generations and everyone in the same file ends up being related! HUGE issue, but only the players who run a save file for a long time are seeing this cause it is so new!
I love watching your videos! You are always so creative with your builds and your ideas! Really makes me wanna get back to building. Would love to see this challenge again but building a community lot, maybe a restaurant or a spa? =) I think you could really make that work! Love from Sweden

We haven’t had a “Classic Deli - Forgotten Fridge” in a while! It always feels like an “Easter egg” when it happens in videos 😆 I love it 🥰
Hahaha omg 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lindsay Lohan is healthy again, girl.
Anyone else screaming ‘FRIDGE DELI, FRIDGE!!!!!’ Whilst decorating the kitchen? 🙈😂
I kept going "refrigerator. Refrigerator. She forgot the refrigerator". 😂
Yuuuup 😂
Did she really?! I completely missed that lol
Meeee oml I was litterly yelling

As a kitchen designer it bothers me to no end how they separated the stove from the oven it just looks so wrong XD
It’s stressing me😭

@@ragnkja This is why you don't get kitchens from Ikea XD
@@DeMafiaGirl
You _can_ put the oven right under the cooktop if you want to, my sisters just chose to get the oven higher up.
@@ragnkja separate stovetops and ovens aren’t uncommon at all, idk why OP is so stressed by it. Maybe it just depends on your region/country.

Okay but this house is absolutely stunning!!! The roofing, the mega-unusual shape, the greenery... Just wow!!!

With the iron roofing and the fountains, this build looked like a fish hatchery from the outside!! It was kind of neat, honestly. haha

Love the fact that she forgot the fridge
'cant forget the bin' - forgets the fridge ahahaha
OOOOO I was wondering when you would do this one!!! I'm so happy to see this video
Rip the fridge
This is so far from what I was thinking but it looks great!
The build looks exquisite, Deli! ❤️ They really should fix the window and door glitch, because it's been going on for months now...
I did this build but I made all the fountains into ponds, same spots just liked the ponds better cause it was more natural looking for a park
THE FRIDGE
