The only issue I see with this house is that all the rain water will run off the roof and funnel into that courtyard 😂

Or snow! Here in the US Northeast any roof that doesn't direct snow away from the house is a big no-no.
you could install a storm drain system around the perimeter of the courtyard to redirect the rainwater

This build is literally EVERYTHING. Colours do be hitting the sweet spot for me, chef’s kiss!
I love seeing you experiment with colours! (and actually keeping them instead of jump cuts to neutral changes :P) I for sure would get overwhelmed living in a house with that much colour irl but I think it looks soo nice.
My grandparents had a house where they had a dark blue feature wall in the living room, one bedroom had a really rich maroon feature wall, when I was little my bedroom there was actually light pink and purple and my grandma and mum cut out fairies from wall paper and stuck them on individually. The other walls in the house were a light custard yellow and the floors were big marble looking tiles. It all sounds like way too much but it worked really well. When they sold it they just had it repainted to a cream and although it was still nice, it sorta felt like it had lost all its character. But I know the new owners have painted it in their own way too so it’s cool that another family gets to add their own character while they live there.
This house is so unique and fresh! Really loving the styling on this one!
I am loving this house. I normally use a lot of neutrals or really dark tones, this is so not my style, but I totally want to make some sims to live here. I'm picturing bell bottoms and big hair. I love, love, love it. Great job!
Deli, your next merch line needs to have a "don't forget" checklist on it! (toilet, bin, fridge) 😆

This house is so fun! I just built a 70s themed house for my nightmare legacy challenge, and I really enjoyed using a lot of oranges and greens and teal.
I know this is older but this might be one of my new favorite builds! It’s so fun! ❤
I seriously had my doubts during this build 😂 haha But our girl Deli pulled it together once again! Such a fun build! and definitely inspired me to want to build some 60's 70's homes! I wanna convert one of the worlds into a 60s/70s era as if time hasn't moved for them.

Loved the length of the video and your commentary is just gold! I am not personally a fan of this aesthetic, and I was really skeptical in the beginning, but it turned out amazing - a really unique blend of fun colours and unusual furniture, nice job!

Seriously, Deli. I love what you did with this. I love all of the colour and styles you put into this. You did a fantastic job and you're allowed to be proud of yourself.
I know Deli wanted to make the rooms bigger but does anyone else feel that maybe 70s bedrooms were smaller? I just felt like it seemed like the fit the size of the home. Regardless, its fantiastic and really intersting to see Deli's process. Anyone else miss seeing her in her live streams and in uploads, it is good to see her back and healthy!

I feel like I would have hated this build a couple of months ago but I love it now the interior reminds me so much of a Australian series I watched and one of the girls had a house like this especially the lounge room

Its like my cat ate my salad and then vommed it up. Saying that, I love the the teal and brown combo, very retro looking with the yellow. Please do more colourful builds

I ended up with a cottage, barnyard, and pond build for my take of this challenge! It's so cool how different the results are from the same guidelines. I'm working on the challenge to use every item without moving or rotating them now. It's taking a lot of time and creativity. Thank you for such a fun save file to build in!
Okay this was amazingly pulled off. You should do a challenge where you can't change the camera angle / move it around! I reckon that would be SO hard!

Looks great! Definitely not something I could come up with, but I love the use of colours and the way you made the most of the space. The courtyard/garden was a nice feature and the roof situation turned out great! I struggle with basic roofing, so I learnt something here. 😁

I like how the build turned out. I didn't see the 70's style coming at first! :D I started with the shell challenge but I find it quite hard so I need some more hours to finish it. Love that you made those challenges, now I play Sims again and it's a lot of fun!

This challenge led me to build my favorite house I've ever built, literally my dream home. :D I used part of the roof space I couldn't quite make work with an actual roof as a rooftop bar, and made the little rectangle inside a small courtyard. 🤓 Thanks Deli!

Love the 70s vibe of this house! It is truly amazing to watch how your thought process works when you are doing this. Glad you are feeling better. I am currently home with COVID LOL but it's not so bad. Our low temperature today was 10, the low tomorrow will be 1 hahaha. We did reach high temps of over 100 during the summer with 100% humidity. I would rather have 10 LOL
