Been screaming at my screen “DELI ITS INVERTED” on the grey scale inverted because she’s picking the light swatch thinking it’s white when it’s all inverted 😭
I came to comment that exact thing. I was worried for future Deli for when she takes off the filter and realizes what she did

I love how Deli says she activates the grey-scale inverted option and then instantly forgets what that means and picks the light swatches thinking they are actually light :D

The side by side shots as you were building were awesome -- made it hilarious to watch. Great video!

I actually love the aqua walls! Even with the yellow couch, it looks great! Maybe a grey couch works better, but I would totally live there! Neutral + a pop of fun color = a fun living space!
The aqua walls and yellow couch DO go together. I would have my livingroom in those colors. I love color and not a big neutral fan
Love how you picked a blue bed and lampshade knowing the opposite on the colour wheel is yellow... Then picked a yellow wall paper thinking it'd be grey! That made me chuckle
The side by side shots with the split screen were great especially when Deli was so sure it was the right color but I did miss a big ending reveal. Those are always such a wonderful disaster lmao
I actually think the colored walls you chose went really well with the decor, but I may just be a fan of bright color walls with an neutral accent wall.
I actually liked the aqua walls, though they certainly didn't match the feeling of the front entry.

I once did a build challenge where I put my computer into grayscale mode and then I did every room is a different color using the color filters in the game. It was a lot of fun!

Loved the 'sneak peeks' of what the room looks like when you were still building it. I think it turned out very interesting despite everything!
I had a lot of fun watching this challenge! And the little peekaboos that were edited in were awesome! Especially the green wall in the living room made me laugh because it wasn't what you had planned. I was living for it though. The bedroom looked WAY better afterwards when you fixed it. But the living room and the kitchen I liked better before to be honest. Now I find myself looking around in my own home, trying to imagine it with turqoise walls ☺

When I first saw this, I thought you were going to do “every room is a different color challenge” but in grayscale and where you can only choose things in the catalog that are tagged as whatever color that room is
I want to do this next :)
@Dave what the mean is sort all the items by one color through the sorting option which is labeled and choose items while the screen is in black and white

This was so much fun! Maybe do this but in cas? You could do the goth family and try to pick out red for Bella and black for Cassandra etc. Also! I love those bricks and I use them a lot! I don't know how you did the sneaky preview of colours but that was so cool.❤

Same! It gave me the impression of a small house built in 1910, reno'd here and there thru the years, had a small kitchen and bath added in the 50s, maybe repainted in the 70s.
Then Carl attached some balloons to it and flew it to South America! 🤣

By the title I thought you would play in grayscale and choose a "colour" filter in-game so that you for instance, have the "green" room. You can do this both in colour and also in black/white!
Also, I love those bricks :D

I actually really like the living room color scheme
I just feel when I watch this that it is not safe to pick the white swatches in the grayscale inverted screen. Because black is white an white is black. So white swatches give you a very dark room. Not safe!

I actually love those bricks too!! I use them as feature exposed brick walls in houses all the time!! I also used them for a huge loft apartment building too!

For future reference to help people out. Inverted colors *do not use the color wheel spectrum,* they use the light spectrum otherwise known as the RGB spectrum.
White = Black
Red = Cyan
Green = Magenta
Blue = Yellow

omg deli i also LOVE the city living brick!
Brown is the darker shade of orange most of the time - so the opposite of brown is a dark blue, so when you invert it, it still shows up dark. Unlike the other colors that get are dark and get bright, and bright and get dark, brown doesn't change colors on invert, just shades, wierdly enough. They do show up blue sometimes though.
A little bit of cheating using eyedrop and comparing the wood on the outside 😉 but still a good job! It's interesting to find matches you'd never pick otherwise, like wallpapers in livingroom and bedroom with the pairing furniture

I usually just filter by colour especially if I chose my sim's fav colours. Although, I never had my sim be like WOW a room or home with only my fav colours mood nor being excited wearing their fav colour either 🤷🏽♀️
But turning the game entirely to those tones is definitely difficult and really hilarious when the game is turn to normal. Good for you Deli... I can't do that.🥴

I personally loved the way all the colours turned out. The only thing I would have "fixed" is the colour of the windows in the kitchen and that one stay blue wall in the kitchen that somehow escaped the bedroom.
I actually loved the house before you altered it haha

I was really impressed that you found the inverted yellow for the bed but then i was thinking when you picked the walls for the bedroom the inverted blue on the bed would be the opposite to the walls because blue and yellow would of been inverted aha great vid nonetheless ❤️
Whenever I have problem leveling something on the wall, I change the wall swatch back to drywall and use the nail holes as guides
I wouldn't change anything in this house deli it looks so cozy and I happen to love all the colours you picked, I would download it from the gallery as is and have my sim live in it
"it's wrong if you don't use terrain paint in your houses" i lived through 5 generations of a legacy challenge with my only landscaping being the dead cowplant in the front yard
And here I am seeing the original sitting room with the teal and yellow and artist me being super happy with those two colours because they're so fun and I would say go together... And then she says that it's a terrible combo. 😅😅😅
I just want to say, I love using those bricks. It might be because I'm a Brit but they just make me feel like it's a proper house xD

What about a basic learning video of Create a sim? Like how to save different outfits and different season changes and having more than one outfit for a different event? Like 3 or 4 different formal looks or hot weather looks? I am brand new to all things sim and I love your videos. 😊

I actually think the only oops that didn't work in your favor was the kitchen walls. I thought the aqua in the living room and blue in the bedroom was amazing. I do think the colorful chairs in the living room work better and I like the orange sofa better too... but I think the blue hues in the living room and bedroom really, really worked.
