Imagine spending $80000 on your kitchen and then making you toddlers sleep on a chair in a plain concrete room 😂 think these sims should get their kid taken away…
Build Challenge Idea: You do the random budget generator per room like this, BUT whatever funds are leftover after the room, you can add into the next room. You still don’t know what the next one’s budget is, so it’s a gamble whether you save it or spend it.
Deli you are still one of the best Sims 4 Decorators! You know what colours and style work well and it's not overly done - just perfect. I wish you did more build challenges like this! :)
I was sure I was going to watch chaos, but nothing could ever had prepared me for those budgets! I want to add that if I was doing this challenge, my budgets would range from 500 to 20000 simoleons 😊
Love to see the marble, emerald and gold, so bouji. The client clearly didn't care about spending nearly her whole reno budget on her dream kitchen 🤭 Try out the wheel or a number generator with $1000 to $50000?
For budget you should do like 500, 1,000, 2,000, 5,000, 10,000, and 50,000. I think the house looks really really good (aside from the living room and the kid’s room, of course). Love your videos and I hope you this again it was really fun to watch
I'm so happy that Deli builds with custom content guilt free because it makes me so sad when simmers on YT feel too bad for using it. We love seeing the CC!😂❤
To make the challenge not impossible you'll have to price up the cheapest nessecities. So even if you spin/roll the lowest value you can still place items to make a room functional. About 700 simoleons will let you place the essentials in any room, less than that and you wouldn't be able to make a functional bathroom (sink, toilet, shower) or kitchen (counter, sink, stove, fridge and bin), at least without custom content priced cheaper than maxis cheapest. For your wheel, have the number of entries match the number of rooms, and maybe double the value each time? So 1000, 2000, 4000, 8000, 16000, 32000 etc. Once you've spun for a room, remove that entry from the wheel.
So I think you should do this challenge again but I think you should go into the pre built rooms cataloge and see the price of the different types of rooms and use those numbers on the wheel so that way you know you have enough for the basics!
Build challenge idea: one item per pack per room. You can use the same item more the once but e.g the six dining chairs have to be from a different pack to the table.
I love your videos so much- like listening to a friend playing the Sims together. Your videos are definitely helping me get through these endless lockdowns. Thanks so much!
The dining room is SO LOVELY!! I'd love to see a video where you renovate this house with no extra budget - ie. you can only get money by selling the existing items that are in the house right now.
This is such a fun challenge!💯 I do agree that some of the budgets were a bit too low for necessary living accommodations. If you add a few more high range budgeting options, you should be able to afford the bare minimum for each room without sacrificing crucial items such as beds or appliances👍
You should fix this house with no additional money! But just sell stuff from the kitchen and expensive rooms only in order to furnish the rest of the house. I think that would be fun to see.
Use Google for a number generator 1000-20000. And then use the wheel for the styles! That would be awesome! And an extra challenge. I love your builds!
I love the little bit at the end where you're just hanging out as the links pop up. it's like when the news ends and you can just about make out the newsreader shuffling papers & chatting to their co-anchor :D
The pile of mail next to the toilet made me laugh so much. It reminded me of the run-down houses my friends would rent when we were all in our early 20s and the stacks of catalogs and magazines that would sit on the top of the toilet tank.
I feel like the amounts needed to be adjusted. Like bars minimum could have 1000 and max 50,000. Even 1,000 would have been a struggle in a lounge room or kids bedroom. Next time you could even do the outside a well. I did REALLY love that kitchen. I would get that irl.
Who say that this house is "for now", could it be a removation project by the owners and, let's say, they did the Kitchen 1st. All houses come with a semi-decent bathroom, so that's that. And because they go some days there they have they semi-decent bedroom fixed, just for being there the days they go. That also explains the kids bedroom and the sad looking lounge/living-room. My way of seeing this: this couple is building their dream house little by little while still owing a small house or renting one. I enjoyed this video a lot! Thanks a lot Deli.
i think using a random number generator and making the minimum 500 and the maximum 50,000 would work well! but this was still really fun lol, i always love when you use custom content!! such a pretty color scheme in the kitchen.
This is the earliest I've ever been lol Great video, I love having your videos play in the background while I'm multitasking cause your voice is so soothing ♡♡
I also agree! She is so relaxing that I try to watch her lp that her soothing voice just puts me to sleep! Not because I'm bored but because of the relaxing voice she has.
This could totally be a stater for a let's play! A single sim or a couple recently moved in and are renovating the house, and are expecting? They entail many issues during the renovation such as furniture being lost (oopsie) or one of them losing their job and therefore the process is long and difficult.
Maybe the storyline here is that the sim couple just bought this house because they’re expecting to grow their family and so they’re renovating it room by room and the nursery and living room are up next?!
When you need a really cheap sleeping option just hit show hidden objects and in eco lifestyle there's a double bed for 25!! Simoleons)) there's also a kinda nice table for 4 for 30 and chairs for 10 simoleons each)
Okay the kids and living room were hilarious 🤣 but please try again with a minimum budget that’s more flexible… tho add styles to the wheel too!!! That’s an awesome idea
I think the reason why the living room and toddler room is they got leaking pipes under the floor, and everything was destroyed, and they are currently renovating it..
Maybe the family is renovating a new home and they are planning on adopting a toddler? Hence why it's halfway done. And they are working on the rooms in order of what they need to get moving quicker?
I suck at wall lamps too. I like the dream home decorator ones but they’re a little odd. I think it’s because I don’t notice wall lamps too much IRL. I wish there was better porch lamps and more lighted art fixtures. The industrial ones are my favorite. The wall lamp from bowling is so good for outdoor barn looking lamp
Plot idea if you are playing in this house: lower/middle class family starting to renovate their house, starting with master bedroom and dining area (food and sleep is what we cant be without) so they are entering a contest and winnning a complete lux kitchen makeover - but the entire prize has to be spent in the kitchen. Currently they dont have a baby, but they put some stuff in there to not have to see the empty room while trying to concieve
Hey Deli, loooved the kitchen and dining room, but yeah definitely i would have rather watched you decorate with reasonable budgets than just put a chair in and have to call it a day. I don't think you can go cheaper than 800 per room to be honest, because even that was a struggle! xx
For the next one, you should have a discretionary fund! If you get $5000 for one room but only use $3000 put the extra money into a “pot” and then if you run into an issue where you need more money you can take from the pot. But once it runs out it runs out.
Amazing job Deli! haha I loved it oh my heart hurt for that child and the family's guests lol. also in the hallway instead of the library i would put some toddler toys perhaps or the toilet. yes definitely not the best location but at least the kid will have something :)
80k kitchen hype indeed! We're currently renovating kitchen, and while we don't have this big budget, LOL, it will be definitely the most fancy room in our house haha.
Here's an idea, Stop me if you've heard it before. Build a House challenge but every room is built by a different Sims RUclipsr. Example You, James, Simlicy etc.....
I'd love if you could try challenges like this one without cc! I feel like cc is very differently priced compared to the maxis items and, not being able to keep up with all the cc, using cc in such challenges makes them less relatable and exciting for me!
Imagine spending $80000 on your kitchen and then making you toddlers sleep on a chair in a plain concrete room 😂 think these sims should get their kid taken away…
This feels like they started building the house but haven’t started on the living room or kid’s room 😂
And then u bought yourself a beat up bed just to have decor in your room and a fancy rug
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Build Challenge Idea: You do the random budget generator per room like this, BUT whatever funds are leftover after the room, you can add into the next room. You still don’t know what the next one’s budget is, so it’s a gamble whether you save it or spend it.
Such a good idea!
I was thinking a similar thing but she uses all left over money for an extra room add on.
I love this idea!
Yess!
yo that’s so good!
Next time, make this even harder - spin for style *and* budget.
AND room. so like Outdoor patio or something
@@liefeon5092 Yeah, *and* room.
Omg thisss yes
This was awesome -- next time, pick a random number generator rather than a wheel (you can set minimum at like $500 max at $100,000
Just what I was gonna say.
Great idea!!
That’s what I was gna say but budget between $1000 and $20000
Yes, I was just about to comment this! I see other RUclipsrs do this, such as Lilsimsie.
Maybe the max at $50000. You saw how hard it was to spend 80k in the kitchen and that's the most expensive room in the house lol
Deli you are still one of the best Sims 4 Decorators! You know what colours and style work well and it's not overly done - just perfect. I wish you did more build challenges like this! :)
Deli struggling to spend all the money in the kitchen and not having a microwave yet 😂😂😂
She forgot the door to the bathroom too. 😂
@@Fallenfromgrace1990 whoops, I guess it's not a functional house then... LoL love you Deli!!
microwaves are not essentual so its not an issue
A true chef never microwaves! And neither do I, although I am not a true chef, and yes I have one that came with the kitchen. It's great for storage
@@loptseldr They are extremely useful though not even just for food
I love the calm energy this video radiates
Same, it is so relaxing to watch
I was sure I was going to watch chaos, but nothing could ever had prepared me for those budgets!
I want to add that if I was doing this challenge, my budgets would range from 500 to 20000 simoleons 😊
Deligracy pleasee do more challenges, you’re amazing at it!!
❤️❤️❤️
Perfect, just in time after my mental breakdown
Hahahhaha same
Hope you’re better now
Hope it helps. We’ve all been there and it’s rough! Sending lots if love xx
Hope you're feeling better and whatever is troubling you passes ❤
Take care. ❤️
You could also have three life lines! Like use a kaching, sell something from another room, or pick one item of any cost for free.
Ooh cool idea!
Love to see the marble, emerald and gold, so bouji. The client clearly didn't care about spending nearly her whole reno budget on her dream kitchen 🤭 Try out the wheel or a number generator with $1000 to $50000?

I'm so happy that Deli builds with custom content guilt free because it makes me so sad when simmers on YT feel too bad for using it. We love seeing the CC!😂❤
I love seing it too and only get a bit sad when they don't link it in some way.
I think re-rolls should be allowed for the kids and living rooms. Either that, or you use debug to furnish them.
I was CACKLING at the tour of the kids room. The zoom-in on the dog bowl decal 💀
To make the challenge not impossible you'll have to price up the cheapest nessecities. So even if you spin/roll the lowest value you can still place items to make a room functional. Love the idea of someone blowing their entire renovation budget on the kitchen and then can’t even afford living room furniture.
😂
The dining room is SO LOVELY!! I'd love to see a video where you renovate this house with no extra budget - ie. you can only get money by selling the existing items that are in the house right now.
Now I think it would be fun to take the same house and the same total budget and renovate all the rooms.
The debug options from eco lifestyle and nifty knitting are very helpful for the really low budget rooms!
It would be funny to see this again but with all crazy expensive budgets and you would have to use the entire budget! That would be a great video!
This is such a fun challenge!💯 I do agree that some of the budgets were a bit too low for necessary living accommodations. If you add a few more high range budgeting options, you should be able to afford the bare minimum for each room without sacrificing crucial items such as beds or appliances👍
CHALLENGE!!!!! renovate some of the base game homes (with only base game) you could make a nice series of it!! love you dels ♥️
I didn’t think anything could get more sad then the lounge room and then you got the kids room.
“Things might get stupid and crazy” my friends whenever I wanna do something
You should fix this house with no additional money! But just sell stuff from the kitchen and expensive rooms only in order to furnish the rest of the house. I think that would be fun to see.
praying for the child
A gorgeous kitchen and dining room... lack luster kid and lounge... someone had very distinct priorities 😆
Use Google for a number generator 1000-20000. And then use the wheel for the styles! That would be awesome! And an extra challenge. I love your builds!
Deli! Deli! Deli! Are you planning on finishing your dream lp with bouzer? We luv watching it and ur vids!
I love the little bit at the end where you're just hanging out as the links pop up. it's like when the news ends and you can just about make out the newsreader shuffling papers & chatting to their co-anchor :D
the bedroom looks amazing for such a low budget ?? amazing
I love this already 'cos even the house with nothing in it looks so brilliantly designed, could use it for inspiration for a new game 🤔
The pile of mail next to the toilet made me laugh so much. It reminded me of the run-down houses my friends would rent when we were all in our early 20s and the stacks of catalogs and magazines that would sit on the top of the toilet tank.
This is so entertaining to watch! Just look at the badass kitchen and then at this lounge room XD
that intro... i just felt like I was being enveloped in a warm, fuzzy hug and idk why but it was appreciated, i needed it
Love wheel challenges 🙌 Thanks for the joy this morning!
This is the funniest deli video I've watched in a while - the tour of the house was so funny to watch 🤣🤣
I love this style of video. You should try randomizing the budget and the color, or style. Adding mutiple layers to the challenge.
I think that Deli and James should do a dream home makeover room for each other with a budget the other determines.
I feel like the amounts needed to be adjusted. Like bars minimum could have 1000 and max 50,000. Even 1,000 would have been a struggle in a lounge room or kids bedroom. Next time you could even do the outside a well. I did REALLY love that kitchen. I would get that irl.

The build was fun, but the walkthrough was hilarious! Thank you for making my day 😊
Perfect video for Monday morning breakfast ❤️
would be fun to do a 'fixing' of this where you renovate it into a nice home
Deli calling the palm a fern lmaoo I love that alarm clock I miss that from previous games - the functionality
Perfect video for tonight! Thanks Deli ❤
Felt the wholesome vibes right off the bat. Clicking on this video was a good decision uvu
i think using a random number generator and making the minimum 500 and the maximum 50,000 would work well! but this was still really fun lol, i always love when you use custom content!! such a pretty color scheme in the kitchen.
Yessss I love a Deli challenge 💛 so ready for this!
This is the earliest I've ever been lol
Great video, I love having your videos play in the background while I'm multitasking cause your voice is so soothing ♡♡
❤️❤️❤️
I totally agree Deli has a great voice and personality for videos!
I also agree! She is so relaxing that I try to watch her lp that her soothing voice just puts me to sleep! Not because I'm bored but because of the relaxing voice she has.
Ohhh, fun! Love a good RNG build.
I think it's pretty obvious that a chef would live in this house. They spent almost every penny on the kitchen and dining room lol.
This could totally be a stater for a let's play! A single sim or a couple recently moved in and are renovating the house, and are expecting? They entail many issues during the renovation such as furniture being lost (oopsie) or one of them losing their job and therefore the process is long and difficult.
I totally have a thing for golden sinks. I wish we had more but with all the packs installed we have quite a few. Love that cc one
you should list all your cc on your website because you have the best collection :))
19:56 "They can have... this food." Absolutely killed me 😂
Deli: puts a bunch of outrageous numbers on the wheel
Also Deli: EiGhTy DoLlArS?
Me: NOT THE SAD CHAIR D:
When the family has a more expensive kitchen then the children’s room. They’re gonna call child services
The kids room makes me laugh every time
definitely do the challenge again, minimum like 700 per room, that's even low, but at least workable. I did enjoy this though
Maybe the storyline here is that the sim couple just bought this house because they’re expecting to grow their family and so they’re renovating it room by room and the nursery and living room are up next?!
Imagine building a house and spending 95% of your budget on the kitchen and the dining room. Priorities!
I'm all in for it 😂
I always love when a challenge is challenging but this is sad. In the bright side, maybe this house is for a newly married chefs :______
I almost cried when I saw the budget for the lounge room 😭😂
I loled at the hanging bed sheets on the bedroom, cause I have a blanket doing as blackout curtain on my own bedroom right now hahaha
The parents who are willing to spend more on their hallway than their toddler 😅
Maybe the family is renovating a new home and they are planning on adopting a toddler?
Hence why it's halfway done. And they are working on the rooms in order of what they need to get moving quicker?
I love watching your videos, this is a really fun challenge! ❤❤
OH and the paranormal sconces
I truly enjoyed this challenge Deli.
This house ended up decent, you should try once more.
Awesome Job. I tried this challenge and i spun the wheel for each room then choose the room based on the budget. I'm inspired to try again.
Do it again but maybe start at like 1000 and go somewhere to like 50,000. 😁
Deli I love your accent and your videos. I just got out of school and this video made my day! Love ya! ❤️
Hey Deli, loooved the kitchen and dining room, but yeah definitely i would have rather watched you decorate with reasonable budgets than just put a chair in and have to call it a day. I don't think you can go cheaper than 800 per room to be honest, because even that was a struggle! xx
This looks like a really fun challenge, tempted to do it too!
I saw Kelsey Dangerous did this recently & it was hilarious as well!
Also an improvement for next time is if you already chose a budget for a room you can remove that option so you don't get repeats
You should’ve put a tv in the dinning room!!!
For the next one, you should have a discretionary fund! If you get $5000 for one room but only use $3000 put the extra money into a “pot” and then if you run into an issue where you need more money you can take from the pot. But once it runs out it runs out.
Ooh nice!
Always a delight to watch your videos, you could redo it and the lowest price is 800.
You could have given the kid a bed out in the hall. 😂
Do the challenge again with the lowest amount being $1000?
I can never find a wall lamp either!!
Amazing job Deli! haha I loved it oh my heart hurt for that child and the family's guests lol. also in the hallway instead of the library i would put some toddler toys perhaps or the toilet. yes definitely not the best location but at least the kid will have something :)
You spin for the budget and then spin for the room.
I hate how she was like I can’t buy a tv like yes you cannnnn just go in debugggg lmao
80k kitchen hype indeed! We're currently renovating kitchen, and while we don't have this big budget, LOL, it will be definitely the most fancy room in our house haha.
alternative title ‘what happens when a grand designs couple project managers their own build’
Here's an idea, Stop me if you've heard it before.
Build a House challenge but every room is built by a different Sims RUclipsr.
Example You, James, Simlicy etc.....
the way that chair in living room faces the big window as if its a live television lol so funny for me
I would probably put floor tiles before a plant in the bathroom hahaha
I'd love if you could try challenges like this one without cc! I feel like cc is very differently priced compared to the maxis items and, not being able to keep up with all the cc, using cc in such challenges makes them less relatable and exciting for me!
