- Today we try to build a "Hidden Garden House" in The Sims 4, inspired by Trias studio (link below). What do you think? I also loved using the Desert Luxe kit! The bifold door is so exciting! Thank you for watching!

A great idea by Rinn in the comments is for me to makeover/renovate one of your real life homes in The Sims! If you have built your IRL house/apartment in The Sims 4 and need a makeover/reno, upload to the gallery using #delireno and I’ll pick one for a video :) please don’t use CC if possible unless it’s the Cc I always have haha!
Omg I know what I'll be building tonight! 🥳 This is such a cool idea!
So cool! I'm going to get mine ready!
Noted
My parents have an old 1900s home, I would love to see it in modern, definitely going to build it for this!
Ah such a cool idea, definitely building my flat tomorrow!
Deli, I had a fun idea for your videos if you like the concept: players can build their real life apartments/homes in need of a makeover and upload them to the gallery with your hashtag. I think there's a lot of potential and fun for both you and the viewers to see what you can do with their room layouts and try to maybe keep it somewhat realistic 😊
THAT is a series I'd watch:p I love doing it on my own builds so it'd be cool to see what someone else does.
Ooo
yeeees
Ooo I like this! I hope she's sees this.
I absolutely love this idea!
okay, Deli, don't worry about tmi, its a good thing that you're normalizing talking about our bodies! Even if it is a bit "gross" in the long run, being open about these things helps people look after their health!
I heard a story recently about a woman who developed bowel cancer (she's now beat it and has recovered), but after telling her family, she found out that many of her relatives had it, they just never told anyone-- they were embarrassed since it had to do with the bowels. If she had known she was so genetically predisposed, she would've known to get screened often. But because our culture is so squeamish about such topics, people are left clueless about their bodies, and that can cause a delay in identifying and treating serious illnesses. So its def good to normalize these kinds of topics :)
Totally agree!! Thanks for saying that. And thank you Deli for just being your authentic self. You are such a great role model. ❤
Deli, i am LOVING when you do homes like this. Traditional homes that have been updated with a modern twist ✨ love love love!!!!!
Yayyy
The new sliding doors are so good, they deserve their own animation imo
🙏🏻
It's not really a door, though 😭 It's an arch
irl I would never give up floor space to put a tree so close to the house but for the Sims…form over function all the way! Beautiful build!
I’m a planner! Sometimes it’s hard to turn work brain off even when I’m building in the Sims…I have to give myself the Planning permission lol. Our benchmark for whether we care about changing a historic property, for the most part, is whether it’s visible from the street. So you’re spot on with the front facade but my office would have concerns about the unattached side facade. As a final note…my department’s review fee ALONE is 3x what your total permit cost 😅
Haha omg wow! That’s a really interesting job, I bet you’re always thinking about it in the sims!
@@deligracy unfortunately yes!! I wish I could set all the rules aside more easily.
oh this would’ve been a great opportunity to use the chabudai table from snowy escape!! since this build was inspired lightly off japanese architecture
In the Netherlands we have 3 bins... Green for veggies, plants and fruits. Blue for paper. Black for the rest
I’m in Puerto Rico and hurricane Fiona just passed us. I have no electricity, or running water. I finally have some cel reception and internet and I’m SO HAPPY you uploaded. Like, it made my day.
I’m so sorry I saw on the news ❤️ glad you have some internet now. Hang in there xxx
@@deligracy thank you! And thank you so much for your content!
I've been binge watching the Originals and this style (only the front) reminds me of New Orleans, Louisiana where they hold a festival called Mardi gras. The main street has the same look. Loving the minimal look home and the open windows to the outside plants & trees.. The new kit goes really well imo with this style & I'll definitely be using it my my gameplay.
So cute..your builds always put a smile on my face while I drink my coffee!! Loved how the Pancakes just went into the home with nothing and lit the fire..classic Sims!! Happy Monday girl 😁 xo
Love this. As a fellow Aussie I’d love a collection of traditional Australian house styles like the terrace (Sydney and Melbourne) the Queenslander, the workers/settlers house and a federation style family home. So many great options.
being newer to the channel and sifting though the videos.. i knew i vibed with deli! monday is my favorite day too. all the good things happen on mondays :)
hi deli from texas!
I love your renovation videos!! Will you be continuing them?❤
Deli, just wanted to let you know I've been really enjoying your build videos! They've been perfect for when I need to take a break and destress, and I always love seeing what you build.
Yay!
A suggestion for a build challenge:
1.Spin a wheel to determine how much money overall you get to spend on building the shape (walls, etc.)
2. Spin a wheel to determine how much money overall or each item is no more than for doors and doorways. Maybe include windows here or do this separately for windows.
3. Spin a wheel to determine how much money overall or each item is no more than for walls and floors.
4. Spin a wheel to determine how much money overall you get to spend for Build mode miscellaneous (pools, landscaping, etc.)
5. Take each buy mode function (Lighting, Electronics, Appliances, Activities and Skills, Decorations, Plumbing, Comfort, Surfaces, etc.) and spin a wheel to determine how much money overall or each item is no more than for each one. For example, Lighting and no more than, if the wheel landed on 100, then each light you buy would not be able to be more than 100. Say you chose overall for Decorations and you landed on 800, then you would have that much to spend on the decorations, not that you would have to use all of it.
Maybe you could do a only CC build challenge? Obviously you'd use base game for walls and roofs. But for furniture, exterior things, like doors and windows would all be only CC! I think it'd be a fun idea. And it'd be a fun way to see your favorite CC items and CC creators!
You can sort by individual kits!! You don’t need to sort by “kits” and then search through them all, since the filters have the option to choose each pack and each individual kit! (It might be twistedmexi’s Better Build/Buy mod, but I’m not sure)
I was doing it that way yesterday :)
Pretty sure it’s the mod 😬
This is gonna sound so weird but I’ve tried typing this and wording this so many times and I can’t figure out how to. I love that you’re real with us about tmi stuff. Please don’t feel like you have to censor yourself or not be a regular person like all of us ❤ Love you and love the build!!!
❤️
I absolutely love The Girls Next Door! And I read Holly Maddison’s book. So happy to hear someone else talk about them, because no one in my life has seen it!
the front of the house reminds me of the terraces in surry hills sydney! U did a really great job capturing those sydney city homes! also thanks for uploading this just as i was gonna do my nightly skin care routine 😁
Ah yes! So this house is in darling harbour irl I think :)
we have a green bin for recycling, a grey one for household rubbish and a brown one for garden rubbish, they do have different colours in debug
Omg Deli!!!!! I loved “Girls Next-door”! And the song is catchy!
Hi Deli thanks for the video, in debug there is a recycling bin that has a blue and green swatch it’s a base game item. Hope that helps you
I always forget about that! Thanks for the reminder
Yayyy
This is amazing! I love this build! What a cool concept. And I really enjoy learning about Australian architecture. Thanks!!
Deli, you should get the Twistedmexi better Buildbuy mod, it separates the kits!
I didn’t realize it was the mod that does that?? I thought base game you could filter by the individual packs and kits
@@ThatGirlShelbyy yes, you can filter by individual packs in base game, but the game does not separate the kits (they are all under "kits") but with the mod it separates them!
your energy is exactly what i needed today! happy monday deli 🖤
Deli can you pls one time include like a 'keyboard cam' view? I feel like you're using all the hot keys all the time and I'm just fascinated 🥰
Deli! Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt have an interesting podcast about their time at the mansion, it’s called Girls Next Level. I think you’ll like it ☺️
Definitely my favourite podcast atm
Yeah I’ve been listening it’s great :)
More than any other sim yt'er, Deli looks out for Console players. I love that, even though I play on PC.
Holly and Bridgette have a new podcast reliving their time in the PB mansion!!! It's fascinating to hear how it was, really... would recommend!!
Deli- I love these type of videos I watch on the :Local Project: channel that often practice these types of builds. It's amazing to only really see these in AUS and not in the US- I love the mix of styles.
Omg I used to be obsessed with the girls nexts door in high school Deli!!!😆😆 Kendra was my favorite, but I loved them all for different reasons. I need to rewatch it now.
Btw the build is gorgeous like always. I wish I could build like you!
I love the white walls, I always use them in a lot of my builds and I have to force myself to not use them so I always appreciate it when you use them in your builds :)
I also love plain white walls. It makes every room so much brighter
I use TwistedMexi’s Expandable Build/Buy Catalog Mod! I swear it is amazing! You should look into it, it will even separate your kits & debug items! it's a lifesaver, I cannot go back to the normal catelog
idk how you do it but the colors you choose are so subtle and like very little texture but it looks so good together. it still looks interesting. theres no pattern at all but it looks very lush and layered its so amazing :o
Literally how I'm feeling lately! And no! Keep talking about it. Normal bodily functions are ok to talk about! 🖤
UK households have a big black bin for general, black recycling bin for cardboard, green recycling bin for glass and a blue bag for plastic and a brown bin for food waste and you have to pay extra for a green wheelie bin for garden waste... the pavements on bin day are busyyyy 🤣
I loved this build! It was so simple and stylish!!
I love your builds, this is only the 4th I've watched, but they are so interesting! Oh, and the TMI was the moment I clicked subscribe LOL
Wow Deli, this looks amazing! 🤩 so well done!
we stan our queen deli!!!❤
Wow love how you love Mondays I'm reframing my thinking rn
Loved this home!! Such a cool concept and will definitely play with families on both sides.
Great build, it legit looks like Sydney. Also an althernate title could be to call it a Mullet House... business in the front, party in the back :P
This was one of the most fun videos I watched on your channel (and that says a lot!!!) I looooved it!! 🥰🥰🥰
I actually love that you keep it real and talk about the everyday things you have to deal with: periods, breakouts, exhaustion - it’s good for all of us to see you also struggle with what we also deal with
I absolutely wishedbI could live there! It's gorgeous!
Looove this build!!! I haven't come across a blue recycle bin, but there is a green bin in debug! It's the same design as the black bin you used for this lot. I think it's either Base Game or High School Years. 😃
I don't know if it's the same one you mean, but I've found a bin of the same shape Deli uses here in the live edit objects that comes in a dark brown, a green, and a blue swatch. I use it all the time in addition to the black one that actually works, since we are very much into sorting our trash here in Germany, too, and our bins look exactly like those.
Oh yay! Thanks
I also love the white walls and light woods 😍♥️
This house (both the original and your recreation) are such a dream 😍
ur "hello" in the beggining absolutely made my day 😭😭😭
I literally had to pause at 4:22 because I have been working on a pink nsb house for three days, building it rn and were are building the same thing. Same wallpaper, strangerville doors, black fencing
as a spilt house...
What a great video I to wake up to! I love your builds, they are always fun to look forward to. I would love to live in that house, very pretty and all the greenery ah!
Have you ever tried to recreate a GrandDesign home in The Sims? So many cool concepts, but they also frighten me 😂 but that watching GrandDesign is a sure way to make me open Sims 😂
I feel you on the PMS. I'm right there with you. Us girls apperciate you being honest and talking about this stuff
I love chai tea! Great build!
I would absolutely live in this house! Gorgeous
You are so talented Deli. Have no words sometimes 👏
Cosmos and Wanda, you're not fooling anyone 😂 💖💚
🌿 I adore this build and the whole concept... I wanna make a build like this too. 🌿 it’s LUSHHHH
They have a podcast now called girls next level! It's new so only about 5 episodes but definitely worth a listen!
Love this build deli!
i adore this house it’s definitely my fave youve made
A video idea: the same house but styled in 4 different decades (for example 50s, 60s, 80s, modern)
It’s more like business at the front meditation in the back 😂
Deli you don’t have to use those specific stairs if you don’t want the wall part. You can use regular stairs and sledgehammer the wall part of it.
I know its the Sims but I also know we both like too build as realistic as possible so I'll still leave this tip!
I never put the thermostat near a door to the outside or next to windows because those always are the coldest spots in the house, because in RL the thermostat wouldn't be able to make a correct reading of the temperature in the house itself, since it would always feel the cold from the doors or Windows
It really isnt a big detail but I like to implement it in my game!
Loved this build vid. ❤
these houses are so cute!!!
ahhh this is so beautiful!! i need to download this asap!!! much love
Maddy, the exterior looks like Peranakan houses here in Singapore! this is amazing
Deli are you listening to the Girls Next Level podcast with Holly and Bridget??? Big recommend if you’re a fan of the show!!! And it’s early days so easy to catch up
I thought it was impossible for monday to be someone's favourite day of the week. The universe proves me wrong once again
I love for content like this from Deli. Best 35 mins!
❤️❤️🤗
SIMS needs more carpet swatches.
Id kill to live in that style of house!! 😍❤️
Hey, white walls can look stunning depending on the style of the home. 🙃
So relatable. Good to hear that other people suffer from 🍑 issues during that time of the month. Change in bms is actually my first sign that it's about to start.
You need to watch the Secrets of the Playboy Mansion doco (maybe on Binge?), and if you aren’t listening to the Girls Next Level podcast, you’re missing out!!
Love chi tea. So good
Twisted mexi's better build/but mod separates the kitsch! Its so handy!
Deli, about a month ago, Brigette and Holly started a podcast where they go through and rewatch every episode of Girls Next Door. It's called Girls Next Level
Deli always comes up with the coolest sims videos
Ok so this is odd, I keep seeing deli complain about the kits being clumped together… but mine have been separated for a while now!? At first I thought it was a filming delay, but with the new free pack, when she complained about it I was so confused cause that’s how I looked at it sooo..
Deli if your seeing this, maybe check if your game up to date?
Or maybe a mod check is needed?? (I had something that made the sexual preference update disappear, it was watching delis vid that I noticed, so yh)
Or maybe there’s something biggergoing on with ea? Where only a few are getting proper updates??
Anyone else? Or do I have a magic mod separating my kits like packs?(highly doubt it😅)
Also! I love your floor plan builds, I always get the floor plan and build along with you, it’s cool to see how we shift and interpret them, I tend to be strict to the floor plan as much as possible like counting tiles if necessary, until it’s furnish time then I shift things around. It’s cool to see how fluid through the process you are, already anticipating how things will or won’t work! Thanks so much! Keep up the great work!
Loving your chaotic energy in this vid 😂💜
When you talked about your stomach, I felt that!! I'm the same, I feel validated 👏
Deli, I have Another Idea for an Every Room is a Different BLANK Challenge
Every Room is a Different Randomly Selected Pokemon, You have to look at the Dex Entires as well, Idvreally Appreciate it very much,
Another idea is for you to perhaps makeover/renovate our sims on the gallery or just give feedback on them! I think that would be really cool
Holly and Bridget just came out with a podcast called Girls Next Level, and it’s juicy!
Love your honesty ❤️
You make me want to build so bad!!!!! I'm horrible at it though lol
Also it cost us $4000 because we had to go to planning in WA 😭 As if building isn’t expensive enough. The shire also then decided that even though they’d given permission for the previous tenant to level the land for building and ALL the earthworks were done when we took over (they stopped building for financial reasons), the shire decided that we needed to remove 250sqm of dirt and lay down a whole new layer of dirt before we could build… the dirt we were removing WAS BRAND NEW DIRT! I mean, as new as dirt gets 😂 So hard to navigate.
Oh man, I don’t know how practical a lot of these things are… I just don’t know…
But it’s very difficult to be able to afford to make any changes with planning costs on top :(
my brain just automatically clocks these as local bc we have series of localised colonial houses w v heavy peranakan influence!
edit: iirc, i built our local version that i called nanyang shophouses or smth years ago! this makes me want to go and renovate mine!
A cute little family of round furniture 😭❤️
Whenever Deli says facade my mind just goes "fo-kadé"
🤣🤣🤣
Deli talking about diarrhea while I’m eating lunch but I work in EMS so we just keep on eating.
The period tummy issues… relatable content
